Last time I did that I was dashed against the rocks... and met this guy called Harold.
I don't believe in santa claus.
I don't believe in spite.
I have no use for beauty dolls.
Especially on this night.
I don't believe in miracles.
I don't believe in lies.
I don't believe in hologram.
For I am the frizzle fry.
I've never know what that means but I've always loved it.
I'm a singularity? You mean I can bend light towards myself? And suck up galaxies? Dude...
The next Hollywood blockbuster will thus be The Fantastic Four and the ascent of Mister Shiny. But who should play the galaxy-devouring, raspy-voiced mega-villain? Stay tuned...
Meh. More 'buzzing' than 'raspy'. I ain't no Tom Waits, that's fer sure.
Bill O'Reilly gets absolutely OWNED by Marilyn Manson in a debate.
I think owned might be too strong a word in this instance. O'reilly asked reasonable questions, and Manson answered them in a reasonable fashion. Personally, I don't find Manson entertaining at all, but he is obviously an intelligent person. I like the fact that it was a mature conversation and not the kind of scream-fest that is usually the case on these "interview" shows.

Brian always impresses me when he speaks or writes, and some of his videos have incredible elements of true horror. His music never did anything for me. Don't hate it. It just doesn't speak to me.
Not a fan of Bill O'Reilly, but this seemed like a gentlemanly back and forth and I enjoyed the interview all ways around.
Who you reckon's a bigger kink, of the two of them?

O'Reilly because he tries to hide it behind the suit and the straight lace, which makes his kink a fermenting dirty secret. Get those two guys buzzed at a party and it isn't Brian who's gonna shock you.
That was a pretty decent interview but I think that Manson was holding back a little bit. Papa Bear O'Rielly can be a dick and he seemed to be at least slightly willing to let Manson say his peice with minimal interuption.

Thanks for posting the link, Shiny.
Right there with you. The music didn't reach out and grab me, but I've loved every interview I've heard or read. Chuck Palaniuk has a book out called Stranger Than Fiction which is a collection of essays that he had worked on between writing his novels. In there is a story about him interviewing Manson and it is golden.

Owned, as in the complete opposite of what Bill was expecting.

I've always held that the more 'normal' a person is, or rather the more 'normal' one tries to appear, the more dark s%%~ they've got going on in their world than any 'freak'.

Yeah, especially if Brian gives Bill some of his home-brewed absinthe.

Or Bill gives Brian some of his moonshine-infused crack capsules. (nekkid ladies silkscreened onto the side of each pill)

By that standard I am sunshine and light incarnate.

I was just kidding. I don't really get into Marilyn Manson, I think he's a little past my time and I just don't get it.
BUT, I have to look back at the weird shtuff I got into and shut the hell up.

I tend to like the guy more as a person (and as an artist; he makes some cool watercolor pictures) than as a musician, though I was kind of into the music during my troubled youth. I mean, he played D&D when he was younger; he's one of us. His whole shtick is really just Alice Cooper's stage show taken a little further on the inflammatory surrealist thing.
I kinda like looking at his videos too. They're freaky strange.
I think the thing that confuses me is I get this feeling that he's like, "why is everybody always messing with me?" Duuh...
