It is a sad day in the Fryer household. I knew Patrick for the man he was, not just the characters he played or the way he was portrayed by the tabloid media. Patrick Swazye was my mom's cousin and I will miss him deeply.
My condolences to you and the rest of his family, David. We have some Swayzes several generations back in our family tree, and I always wanted to find out if I was related somehow....

My Mum was a big fan of his when I was growing up, so he was a large part of my childhood. As I got older I was able to appreciate his work on my own so he's sort of been there all the way.
