Hey WD, you out there buddy? You watch any good movies today?

I'll check back later, look forward to hearing from ya'.

Just a post to let you know I am thinking of you; channeling positive thoughts and like that; I lost my best friend to suicide over a girl no less and my cousin over something else.

Everyday the sun still rises; the wind still blows; and there are lots of people to get to know and share things with. Get involved with life; watch those movies you've missed; live; laugh; love.

thinking of you

Please go check out the Post Secret books in the book stores... maybe libraries. (Or http://postsecret.blogspot.com/ but it only has a limited number of postcards.)
You will see two things:
1 - You are not alone. There are many many people out there feeling similar things.
2 - a phone number for Hopeline http://www.hopeline.com/ 1-800-784-2433 (The number isn't currently on the website so I put it here.)

I've worked on the receiving end of that phone and I know there are people out there that can help.

You're not alone. You matter.

Good luck, WD... I really hope things improve soon. Remember that every day you make it through is a gift to the folks around you - I've been at ground zero for the aftermath of more than one suicide, and you truly wouldn't believe how much it affects people. People you wouldn't think would even notice are torn up for the rest of their lives over it, and those who love you carry it with them forever like a stone around their neck. I can understand wanting out, but remember that suicide doesn't remove that crushing weight, it just multiplies it and spreads it around. Every day that you're carrying that weight is one where your friends don't have to, and I'd call that heroic. Let others help lessen the burden, but don't make them carry it without you.

And to everybody else on here - thank you.

Wow - see, you're important! The staff (not including Gary of course, whose job is to talk and moderate) wants you to live.

I hope you're doing OK out there, WD.

Even Gary wants you to live judging by his actions. That is if we accept that Gary is the one who sent the police by to check on WD. And since we are putting out party snacks, try a couple of these. Seriously though, the longer we go without hearing from you WD, the more I'm leaning towards having Gary send the cops back by your place. Speak up already.

Yeah, I'm around. Tried posting awhile ago.. but the net took a dive. Someone asked if I had thought about the financial side of it. Yes I have.

Someone mentioned working at a hotline.. I've called once before. Shortly thereafter, I tried to kill myself. Reaching out isn't always a cry for help. Some people just want to BS while they die. That is what mine was.

Yeah, if it wasn't Gary.. cool. I mean.. I'm not mad at him.

I don't really feel like posting.. I mean.. the cops told me not to. :P

Plus, I might say something that is misunderstood and they get sent out again. They said that whoever placed the call, said I was taking pills. That isn't what I said. I said I had taken pills in the past.

So, I'm just making sure nothing is misunderstood is all.

Plus, I'm hungry but not really sure what to eat.

BTW, CLUE is one of the best 80s movies and movies of all time really.

Nice choice! Tim Curry is like unto a god! An odd, pudgy little god, but godly all the same, and Clue was great!

Let's work on the hunger issue. Grab and go, or raid the fridge?

Caesar Slaad?

Welcoming Death wrote:

I'm a fan of meatloaf, and it isn't too troublesome to make.

If you are a vegetarian or vegan, I got nothing for you - sorry.

Might I suggest fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, cole slaw and some nice biscuts. Oh yeah, gotta add sweet tea.

and I agree on "Clue".

You're a little too close to lengua tacos and barbacoa to be drawing attention to yourself, Bossie.

I used to have a Tim Curry theory. There were three parts in all his movies;

Spoiler:

There was a castle.
He was the bad guy.
He died.

Now, I've noticed that there isn't always a castle. Sure, there might be mansions or lairs.. but not always a castle. I've changed it to;

He's a bad guy.
He dies.

I've yet to see a movie where he doesn't fit into those two. Sorry to have spoiled any Tim Curry movie for any of you. But, you shouldn't have read this.

All of those options sound good. Except the salad. I only eat things that had a mother. :P

Man that is one thing I miss about being married. The food. I mean.. she cooked. She tried so hard. It was awesome.

I don't know what I'm going to get.. but I live in BFE and my car is STILL at the impound because.. well... I'm lacking a little motivation. Tomorrow to be sure.

Home Alone 2. Tim Curry LIVES!!!! He gets slapped...but he lives. :)

Well, walk us through ingrediants you have in the fridge and cupboard and I'm sure we can come up with some suggestions. It's never too late to find out you've been harboring a great cook in you and just didn't know it.

Home Alone2 doesn't count, it's not so much a movie as it is mental torture!

You could order in. Personally, I'd prefer Dominos over the others, but the rest are good too.

Oh yeah... do they offer the oven toasted subs where you're at? If so I'd go with the cheese steak and some wings. Damn now I'm gettin' hungery again, and I already ate 4 pork chops and all the fixins.

Stupid dialup. Had this nice post all put together about the awesomeness of Clue for TD and a link http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088930/
and it was eaten. Then ofcourse a few more minutes to get back to this step.

Hey, me too! The pork chops, thing, not the hungry thing.

That's how in middle of effing nowhere I am. Can only get dialup, and no place delivers.

I'm hoping he has all the ingredients for Hugo's tacos ... then we can pry the recipe out of Hugo.

So, Hugo ... first we need a list of ingredients so WD can go check his fridge.

By the way, Communism is a red herring.

Heath, you should have made a power glove commercial.

What's wrong with looking like Charlie Sheen? I mean.. he claims to have slept with over 5000 women... the hookers of your state might even 'owe you a freebie' :P

Aging is unfair to men and women, when a man gets older there is a chance he'll look like Sean Connory, who a lot of women find attractive. When a woman gets older there is a chance she'll look like Sean Connery too. ;p

Thanks for the link ... I'm drawing a blank. Not just on the movie but the entire year. 1985. I recall 1984. It would have come after that. That's about all I got. Oh, wait! That was the year in which I was playing D&D. All the time. That explains it.

Onion, aguacate, Arrachera (some sort of steak, don't know the tanslation) sauce, jalapeño (if you like) grill it, voila! :D

oh, frying the tortillas in a pan with the steak's grease is delicious! A must.

Is quite simple actually
