Buffy vs. Edward

Linkified.

It had its funny moments, but at six minutes, that video was about 4 and a half minutes too long, as far as I'm concerned. Buffy would have dusted him much sooner.

Its interesting to see the actual cinematography in contrast like that. It makes the nauseating blue-green filter they use for Twilight all the more noticeable. Its the same sort of thing they used for the Underworld movies. Blech.

That was seven minutes of my life wasted. I'd like to return it for a full refund please.

I like to think that Buffy would stake Edward in moments, then go off and find a plot that doesn't denigrate women.

Twilight, I hate thee.

While I haven't read it, my wife did (just because of all the hype) and felt the exact way you do. Yet many of our friends and MANY others don't seem to see that. Why?

Can't watch the video at work -- ** Blocked!! ** -- so I'll check it out later. But in any case, Joss Whedon is a brilliant writer/story teller. Twilight is teen drivel. They're not even in the same league.

If Buffy had staked Perez Hilton it would have been a lot better.

Buffy Summers vs. Peter Cullen, now that would be a fight! :D

Right, like she did Angel. Oh wait...

God, can't anyone write Heathcliff anymore?

Yeah, but Angel didn't wear his bloodlust/just lust on his sleeve like some panting prepubescent either. He was still a moody goofball, but infinitely more tolerable.

Yeah, if she hated him she woulda killed him in seconds for being a vamp. It's kinda the masochism of Twilight vs. the fem-power of Buffy (at least on a metaphorical level).

Great video. Of course, I skipped the 6 minutes of BS and jumped to the end where she stakes him...
