I'm taking the kids to Ottawa to enjoy some festivities, but I'll end up missing the fireworks, unfortunately.

Well, that's the stereotype I'm trying to perpetuate. Most of the Acadians at my workplace tell me that this is what Lower Canadians* do.

*I mean Lower Canadians as opposed to Upper Canadians (Ontarians).
