That sounds similar to the dinner plans around here. Mmmm. Ramen.
At least I'm having the left over steak from last night. :)

Actually the ramen is just what I'm feeding Bryce. Since my husband is getting home from his work conference tonight he's swinging by this great little burrito place that's cheaper than food and bringing home dinner. :)

It just means I have to wait to eat until late.

I'm not so much liking steak or burgers. Pretty much any red meat. The smell makes me nauseous. Honestly I could go without meat altogether and be fine, but my family disagree. So we eat a lot of chicken and pork. I can't tell you how much I wish I could eat fish just for some variety.

No Red Meat!!! 8O I would die!

Considering I have my Steaks served Blue (when the stupid restraunts can get it right at least) I'd have to say that a properly done Blue Scotch Fillet Steak is one of my top 5 favourite foods.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales, Battles Case Subscriber)

I was part of a project conference a couple of weeks ago that ended here. They recommended the ribeye, which I had medium rare. It had to be one of the best pieces of meat that has ever been in the history of meatdom. The fat on the steak tasted like some kind of celestial meat candy. It was truly a wondrous night. People who don't like meat, if they could have tasted that steak, would have wept like Moneo on the bridge, "Siaynoq! I believe!"

Osirion (RPG Superstar 2009 Top 32)

I love it when the meat is so tender that it just melts in your mouth without even chewing... *drool*

Osirion (RPG Superstar 2009 Top 32)

In relation to the fat though... Pork Fat is by far the most delicious fat, followed closely by lamb fat. Steak is nice, but you need to get a good piece for that, whereas I find the other two are nice no matter the cut.

And I personally make the most delicious Pork Crackling EVER!!!

Oh my now I've gone and gotten drool all over the keyboard... :/

(Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales, Battles Case Subscriber)

It had a wonderful texture so you could chew it, but as you chewed, you could feel it melting.

About fat, I'm not sure I can generalize, I've had okay pork fat, good lamb fat (prime cuts, having soaked up my wine, oil, and rosemary), but this was the best fat I have ever personally tasted. It was so clean and so sweet... {Homeric sounds of orgiastic drooling}
