For too long has the bug loving community been overshadowed by the Jacks, the Poodles, Politics, and other threads that can not hold a flame to the love of insects we all hold.

My favorites are the ones dipped in chocolate

Andoran (RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16)

Uh oh. This thread might get into a war with the Bug Cult thread.

Preying Mantises look pretty awesome, though. I am not looking forward to the incessant chirping of crickets that should be starting soon.

Shut up, you!

I'm pretty sure they would support arachnids, those do not look like they would taste good.

Grab him quick while I get the chocolate fountain ready!

I find quite disturbing that the thread starter is a bird... I don't feel safe in this thread...

David, you are dead to me.

Don't worry you are perfectly safe.

You aren't poisonous. Now hold still...

<Hops away from the scary bird>

If you were really poisonous you would prove it with the chocolate bath test.

Is this an invitation to mate?

I don't like you like that, I want to consume you. After dipping you in my chocolate fountain.

When you say it, it sounds dirty.

All of you, not just there you dirty mantis, and not like that!

Now into the chocolate fountain!

Andoran (RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16)

Get a room, you two!

Baruch atta, hamelekh haolam...

Don't you know a persons conscience goes on the inside?

Now throught the fountain and into my beak with you!

Ya know, ravens are regular friends of mine...have you tried drizzling honey on these crunchy little guys?

Nah, it gums up the chocolate fountain...

Ugh, do you think you could get that pesky thing out of my ear?

*searches for an Adam Daigle to eat the cricket*

I thought Adam Daigle would eat him, but I can't seem to find him anywhere...

Beaks are handy for this sort of thing.

That pic is pretty darn funny...

What are you?!?

Also, how do you taste with chocolate?

Hmmmm...this looks like an interesting place to hang.

Man, this eatery is a LOT more friendly than that other place.

Sets large, bear-shaped squeeze bottle on the table, lifts his head off of silver platter and reattaches it to his neck.

I'm the Mighty Magnanimous Magnificent... {eyes sparkle and pedipalps quiver excitedly} Kobold "Angel Eyes" von Cleever's #2 bestest buddy! {shivers with joy}

I'm 1/2 chuul & 1/2 monstrous wolf spider. What do you mean by "taste with chocolate?" {licks self} Hmmm, I dunno, salty-chitony-hairy?

Chuul, huh? Spiders aren't insects. Is Chuul some kind of lobster?

I see, that earns you an extra special place at St John's table.

Spoiler:
If you say "Extra honey for me please!" you will get almost immediate service.

Enjoy your stay!

Good idea, we just put in these special bracelets we would like for you to try... don't worry we padded them so they won't break your delicate exo-skeleton. The chains are there for decoration, its the latest fashion for giant insectmen.

** spoiler omitted **

Enjoy your stay!

{eyes melted butter on table suspiciously} I wonder if this St. Johnny-5 fellow's lumpy noggin would make a good ventriloquist dummy for KC?

{whispers to Gagvoyle:} I think the safety word is 'chocolate.'
