You know you arrived when you find out people on the internet are writing erotic fanfiction about your products.

The actual place arrived at is perhaps best left obscure, considering the criteria for having arrived, of course.

So anyway, CONGRATS.

Imma go drink until I've forgotten what I've read this day.

So Harsk was the main character, we might surmise from your need for alcohol?

Kvantum wrote:

Harsk I could handle.

Hell, the fact that there's Laori Vaus fanfiction out there didn't give me that much pause.

But some things you just do not do.

Lamashtu themed Mammy Graul fic?

NO. YOU DO NOT DO THAT.

My eyes can't explode fast enough.

i hate the internet

O_O

Welp, there goes my last shred of faith in humanity.

The lack of link on this page is really making me sad.

Damn it I must read this. I don't want to read this, but what I want left the equation long ago.

If there's any justice in the universe it will have avoided being archived before it was purged from the board. Otherwise I'm going to go over here and despair as we float through a cruel universe filled with the laughter of thirsting gods.

The fact that I found out someone actually made Lamashtu porn at the same time that I came face to face with this abomination has already shattered my hopes of this being a swell week. Or year.

Google has at least some sanity protections built in. It did turn up the Laori Vaus stuff, not that I wanted to read it either.

The fact that its making you sad is making me sad. I'm quite happy with the sans-linkness.

Yeah ... I'm good with not having a link to that.

Strange. This isn't troubling me at all.

My guess is Nick Logue is moonlighting in the softer side of his work.

A kindred spirit, at last.

Yoda's response is ... troubling.

Me and my eyeballs just want to give a big "THANK YOU" to Mikaze for NOT putting a link.

aaawwww c'mon guys. Were supposed to be brave adventurers.
For those of us unafraid give us the link.
Theres no such thing as bad Fanfiction(claims everyone as my dodge and gets ready to reflex save) so post the link please.

Who knows I may be able to mount it on a sheild in case I have to fight a zombie horde, look at how frightened the upgraded aberzombie is, a regular zombie would have no chance.
Yes, I know I stole the idea from perseus but it's still a good tactic.

At least the fanfic was about Pathfinder characters and not actual Paizo staff.

Qadira (RPG Superstar 2010 Top 16)

Oh, that happened years ago.

Spoiler:

The one I wr, um, ah, read ... had psychic aliens investigating mental powers on Earth. Since the Paizo staff is, essentially, psi-null, the aliens assumed they were unintelligent, and had their otherworldly way with them. James spent a couple hours as a swarm of tentacles, and high-tech versions of the girdles of masculinity / femininity were a feature of many scenes. According to the stories, the aliens realized their mistake and withdrew from further experimentation.

And, you know, it explains a lot: the therapeutic obsession with tentacles in the product line, and the trauma regarding psionics, and why Sean shaves his head.

The first thing I thought when I read the words "mint jelly" was "I wonder which Monster Manual that's from?" I really need to get more sleep.

Huh. I agree that Mammy Graul slashfic might not be for the faint of heart, but what's this about Lamashtu porn...? Is this referring to the Nualia illo that surfaced a year or two ago, or something new?

As a member of the Paizo editorial staff, I make it my policy to screen all erotic depictions of Pathfinder characters for quality and continuity. Thoroughly.

Dibs on the erotic elf statuette.

(RPG Superstar 2009 Top 32, 2010 Top 8)

So...

Where's the Mammy Graul/Twilight Fanfic?

Lightweights...

When you've been emailed erotic fanfic of some of your own characters, that's when you've made it big. Or something like that. Admittedly, some of it was really good. Creepy yes, but flattering at the same time in a creepy way.

Of course my Valentines day present this year was some really -seriously- well written fiction that involved me rather than any characters of mine as the victim in the story in a very 'In the Mouth of Madness' sort of plot.

:D

Hey, what a guy reads in the privacy of his own home isn't any of your business. You can be so fascist sometimes, Mr. Frost.

Not enough, considering the topic. What a guy does in the privacy of his home really should be his own business, unless it has anything to do with Graul/Twilight slashfic. In that case, he should be outlawed forever.

Steven Tindall wrote:

Brave. Not nihilistic.

Pansies. I have an account on FanFiction.net, and have read some truly horrible stuff.

Post the link already! I need more material to freak out my friends with!

As much Lamashtu-tied stuff as there is in the Runelords campaign I run, I can't help but be intrigued.

Nothing at all to do with my party doing a fine job of getting on her bad side, really.... ;D

Actually, for my 25th birthday, about 20 of my friends wrote and performed a surprise musical for me, about me, and scored entirely with reinterpretations of songs I've written. I'm told the actor who played me captured my mannerisms perfectly (I'm still trying to figure out why certain scenes made everyone in the audience crack up). And that sucker was an hour long... they were in staging and rehearsals for like three months. Best birthday ever.

Your move, hot shot. :)

(EDIT: Honestly, it was so cool I almost feel bad bragging about it... but really, how could I not?)

Andoran (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path Subscriber)

You realize, of course, you're just giving all the Paizonians all sorts of evil ideas for plays and musicals for PaizoCon. (hell, wish I could make it to the 'Con to see what might start up)

Apparently it's the first result in Google image search for "lamashtu pathfinder".

DO NOT SEARCH FOR THAT IF YOU ARE AT WORK, AT HOME, THE SKY IS BLUE, OR IF YOU CURRENTLY ALIVE.

And NO Yoda, the fic was blessedly not archived and is hopefully gone forever.

It's better that way. PathfinderWiki won't be helped by its webmaster developing post traumatic stress disorder.
