"Allow me," Allura says. Allura reaches into her pouch and pulls out two blue spheres. "Two potions of water breathing."
Looks at the potions, then at Allura, clearly intrigued by the idea, especially now that he can see the two elves in the water. But he blushes slightly and says:
"Umm - I left my suit back at the Club. Does anybody have a spare, by chance?"

Shaking the excess water out of his snow-white hair, he grins sheepishly:

He then proceeds to splash at her playfully. Oh, and drink the potion...:)

Devlyn will give it a try. Despite being a landlubber, he should be able to pick up the basics fairly well. I'm sure there will be some laughable moments as well as he gets used to doing this in water :P

Then let us have at it. Salt versus Fresh!
Mirathan will start off slow and escalate as Nimora keeps up. First the deep dive, then the whirlpool, and finally a series of intricate strikes and counterstrikes as they rapidly rise to the surface in their mock deadly ballet. Soon she surpasses him. They end by flying out of the water and crossing tridents. Nimora inflicts the killing strike, and Mirathan falls back into the water. She flips twice in mid-air and spins as she follows.
Very good! I obviously need more practice.

Okay, I've only got about an hour before I take my sweety out for dinner, so let's see what we can get done here...
Devlyn's head comes up out of the water at the sound of Alaina's voice.
"What's wrong?"

Alaina looks at the group
According to Magdalena, someone tried to get fresh with her.
Looks squarely at Devlyn
And according to her ...It was Devlyn..
Looks over at the naked dripping Allura
Then someone came to the pool cabana and said Devlyn was cheating on her. That someone was you Allura ..
Looks about
Now I know the two of you were here, so now the question is ...Who is pretending to be YOU?

Nimora surfaces and sits on the edge of the pool, waiting patiently to hear what the priestess has to say.

White yes, but not pasty. This should be amusing...
LJ scans Devlyn with the spell as he is trying to get dressed. The spell reveals that is is, indeed, him, but it also shows something else. Vaguely outlined in the same pose is a form almost twice his size, like a humanoid tiger. The fur is the same snow-white color as his hair, excepting the stripes of course. There is an aura of powerful magic about this larger form.
LJ knows that a shapshifting creature should be seen in its true form under her spell, with the assumed form as a more vague outline. This, and the magic aura around the larger form, indicate to her that this is not natural, but the product of some magic, either by spell or by item.
Bottom Line: This is Devlyn, but he seems to have some 'enhancements' that register.

Seeing LJ staring at him, and assuming why, he says:

He shakes his head.
"No, because that would not be sufficient grief. For one to die honorably is one thing, for one to hate you when they used to love you, and for you to hate them, is quite another. It will drive a wedge between you all.
"But I do not believe that it was a doppleganger. I hesitate to think what it could be, but the goddess has a great loathing of illusions and shapeshifting. Candle Lighter has them as banned schools. And the undead lack the finesse. I don't know what it is..."
It is obvious what he is pointing at, but he seems very reluctant to say it straight.
/\He sighs.
"You aren't listening! When you cast True Seeing, they had already teleported back into their illusions, precisely! It would take but a simple scry spell for them to do it. They never shifted forms. And you never checked the actual illusions."

Yes, that is a possibility. Essentially they have managed to sow enough doubt that we can no longer trust each other without benefit of magic. I could possibly come up with something to help with that. Perhaps with Kaelar's help. He seems to be good at making magic items...

Okay guys, I've got to sign off for the night. Since the boards are flaking out again (at least on my end), I don't have much choice anyway :(.
If this scenario is going to continue tonight, it would probably be best if Devlyn and Allura remained under 'guard' at the Oasis, in order for things to go smoothly. They have to discuss another matter anyway, and David and I can (hopefully) hash that out tomorrow morning. If that's not an option, just let me know what happened tomorrow. ;)
I'll see everyone in the morning. G'night all!
