If it weren’t for your shiny new red jumpsuit, you might almost think
this was a day like any other in your life, here in PZO Sector. After all, you’re sitting at the same processing line you’ve always worked at in your service firm, alongside the same INFRAREDs you’ve always known.
And yet, it’s not like any other day. For one thing, the hint of jealousy in your co-workers’ eyes is certainly new. You wonder how long it will be before Your Friend The Computer asks you to heroically serve it and all Alpha Complex.
Suddenly the Orange-Clearance supervisor for your shift appears, waving a small printout at you.
"Looks like our high and mighty Troubleshooter has to go have his first
mission," he says to the others. "Don’t worry. I’m sure the rest of us will enjoy making up the difference in today’s quota."
Your hands tremble for just a moment as you take the printout and see the RED border around it. This is it, Troubleshooter! Your first mission assignment!
Please $h&^%tand by! PZO Sector reboot in pro$378ss.

Assuming Sam has a clue where THx-1138 is, he decides to head to that briefing room first to see what's going on. He's not particularly concerned about the conflicting messages and leaves his room with dumb grin on his face.
Hammer hurries out of his communal bed when the alarm goes off on his pdc and slips into his new red jumpsuit. He makes sure its on as neatly as possible, smoothing it with a military precision before hurrying out into the hall. Hm, he's been given 3 different places to go to, 4 if you count the one that grew all static. Still, better to trust friend computer over these Jimmy or Vlad characters, no matter what their rank may be. He dashes off towards briefing room PZO-102 to find what his mission may be.
Alright! My first mission alert! and my second....and third....and fourth.....I'm like so ecstatic and happy to be able to serve the Computer in so many wonderful ways!!!
I have no idea if I'm doing the dice thing correct. I clicked on one of the other players blue link which took me to his page - then I created my own account and rolled a d20 and posted the link here and typed in what the d20 result is.
I would first like to ask is it character knowledge who Briefing Officer Vlad-I-MIR-5 and Jimmy-U-PZO-7 are?
GM only
Spoiler:
and either way...I report to briefing room PZO-102 by 1815:214.06.06, following the orders of the ever wise computer. I'm not about to intentionally walk into my doom on the first day on the job!
I just tried visiting the dice roller. Although I can visit Paizo's website here from work - I cannot visit the dice roller site - my IT has that site blocked - so I may have to reconsider being involved in this......depending on how often I'll need to roll dice
Mental Blast, the one time you used it, it fried the minds of those around you, you were able to fake that is affected you also, and spent 2 weeks heavily medicated in a wonderful bliss, later you framed one of your fellow infrareds and were promoted to Red for your loyal actions.
Spoiler:
Though you're new to PZO sector, you're able to find the briefing room...you hope you're the first one there.
If our benevolent GM does not object, DMtools.org(ran by our very own Lilith) also has a dice roller that works very well and is likely accessable.
As is the dicelog I mentioned - I guess that's why Ive always used it - cuz during my breaks and lunch etc while using the company's server I can connect to that one dicelog.com - but for some strange reason that although I can connect to some - the invisible one you are using is banned by the IT guards. Weird.
Thanks for that note, GM. That make's me feel a little better that you'll at least do the rolling for me so that I can continue to participate as much as possible.
Unless the die roll and result that I made (11) makes a difference,
I will ensure that I grab my gear, and head directly to the the first of the listed places I must report to.

For clarification: PZO-102 by 1815:214.06.06
If I do not know where this place is - i will attempt to use my PDC to search for the exact location (coordinate or whatever) of this briefing room.
Of course it is - how silly of me - my friend, The Computer trusts in me enough that he feels I can be a troubleshooter - certainly he believes me competent enough to know where I am to go......
You head out, after polishing the body of your laser...(5 minutes)...catch a hack (5cr) and you still make it to the door to PZO102 in time, unfortunately the door is Indigo Clearance.
You spend a while locating the numerous passages and tubes to get to PZO102...when you arrive, you see a Red Clearance troubleshooter standing before an indigo door
After 30 minutes, taking 2 transtubes and 3 hacks..you finally locate the access door to THX1138, the door is Orange Clearance, even though the entire passage is red.
Ham you spend 5 minutes adjusting your uniform, polishing your boots adjusting your gig line...make a hygiene roll...
After you head out, you catch a transbot to the approximate area, you spend about 15 minutes on the transbot, when you arrive, you're in a RED/IR hallway, with an Indigo Clearance Door...you see a red trouble shooter standing in front of the door, and another red troubleshooter viewing the first.
You arrive in the approximate area, you realize that the corridor might be IR/RED but the door is Indigo Clearance. You arrive and see 3 troubleshooters in the corridor, all but the one at the door are watching each other. The first is staring at the door.
Sam combs his hair, takes a swig of cold fun, smiles looks around the hallway. If the hall is deserted he tries to open the door. Otherwise he just waits.
You enter a dark room, no lights are on currently...your PDC light of (New Message) lights up the room as you close the door. You do note there are several other outlines of doors in this room as the blinking light flashes...3 to be exact.
NiCe enTry sLicK, ProLLy thougHt U was UnoBzervEd...I'll be in TOUCH... - 5lipp3ry J1M Less than a second after you read it, the letters begin to disappear one by one eaten by a yellow semi circle...when they're all gone it opens up and disappears itself. You try to retrieve the message and there's no record of it.
FOR THOSE THREE OUTSIDE THE INDIGO DOOR AT BRIEFING ROOM: PZO-102
Spoiler:
"Hail citizens! It's truly a wonderful glorious day here in Alpha Complex in service to The Computer! Are you all my new troubleshooters superheroes teammates??"
approaching you is a tall (nearly 5'10") sensuously curvy woman that does absolutely nothing for you thanks to your daily hormone suppressents. Long wavy dark hair, sparkling green eyes, and a very firm and large topside that fills up her red jumpsuit - which once again does absolutely nothing for you. She has a vibrant spring in her step and she flips her hair back in a vain prima donna show-offy kinda way.
"So like, what are we all standing around her cooling our heels for? Don't we have like Commie bastards that need a few new holes in their head? Oh yeah and like Mutants too....mutants are bad.....I don't like mutants running around....do you like mutants running around? I'm gonna shoot me some Commie mutant scum traitorous.....things.....mutie freaks.....BOOBIES!!!!
(she hollers the last comment with zeal....it seemed to be completely random and uncontrolled. She shakes her head a moment to clear herself. Then she just smiles a big toothy drug-happy smile).
"Oh.....sorry.....I'm Tataz-R-BIG. It is wonderful to be here to make your acquaintances......"
