"Understood." the warforged replies, immediately turning around and wandering back the way they came.
As it meets the rest of the group it quickly explains: "12 persons, guarding a trek. Randal looks out. We meet where we parted. I get you there, but keep quiet. ... Now even more"

As the group assembles in the tall grass, The six forms stand as the other six close toward them, soon all twelve make there was west. Leaving the Squad with a choice to make as just how they want to try and cross.
Ok guys how ya want to do this> 1. Try and sneak past em while they are away you have 3 diff times to do this.

Jax Lays flat on his belly in the tall grass, raising an eye at the steadily lightening horizon. " It is nearly daylight." he says"...It'd be best for us to get some rest during the day and move again at dusk...in the best interest of not being seen and all." He suggests.
"We're somewhere around 1,000 feet from that patrol, so i propose we fall back a safe distance, find a securable position and get some rest for a few hours...We're no good if we're all running on empty besides scouty.." He declares in a hushed whisper.
So theres my suggestion, these things will be easier to sneak around at night and we have been going all night so we all need to rest. I think it'd be best to find a place off the beaten path( maybe Valyn the ranger can make a survival check to find such a place) and Half the group rests, and half the group is on watch, that way it wont be so disasterous if someone makes a horrible perception roll. What do you guys think?

Garroth stares at the patrol, his rage at the invaders of his land clearly visible on his face. Every ounce of his being is screaming to kill these men, and his hands tighten around his crossbow. But after a moment, the rage and hatred (mostly) leave him, and he relaxes a bit.
"Very well," he says to Jax. "You make a good case. We should rest, and then worry about overcoming this obstacle after dusk."
By our reckoning, how much further away is the camp?

The squad moves back away from the patrol to the tall dying grass. As the day gives into the coming of evening and the setting of the sun. The patrol never changes there march seems untiring and unending.
Finely dusk settles and it is time for the unit to make it's move
It's dusk now night is upon you. It should be noted with more then 1 moon the nights in ebrron are almost allways as light as a full moon. So whats the plan.

all creep up on the east side of the hill, then cross on the east side after they all head west....thats my suggestion.
*We will need to secure the other side first*. so it would work like this...
A)Scouty and I creep forward together as a team,
B)wait 2 moves off the road in stealth until the group reaches us.
C)Wait til the patrol head west...
D)scouty and I cross quickly as the others begin to creep forward.
E)I go left, scouty goes right and we 'box' the far side. {1/2 move left and right, 2 moves in, half a move back towards center}
F)Scouty stops where we join (2 moves off the road),
G)I head back wave the party across...
H)I wait as the party heads to scouty.
I)I move back to them,
J)Scouty and I wait as the party creeps 1000 yeards away from the hill.
K)Then we join them....clear as mud?

"A sound plan, Randall. Let us proceed with that." Garroth looks back toward the patrol. "It would seem our enemies continue their abuse of the natural order. I believe the patrol may be undead."
This last comment is based on Keeper's description of them being untiring and an unending march, and also the implication that we didn't see a "shift change". If that wasn't the case, then disregard.

H)I wait as the party heads to scouty.[group]
I)I move back to them, [you]

Slowly and carefully Randall crept through the high grass near the hill and road they had to cross, nearby his comrade Scouty did the same. He kept an eye on the gathering of figures on the hill waiting for them to turn west...
at A (1d20+9=10)---wow nice roll huh. Total roll with cloak (+5)- 14 Itll be a miracle we're not spotted.
He stepped on a twig, and paused unsure if hed been heard...softly cuursing to himself and readying the MKII.....
*if he hadnt been heard then he wanted to wait just off the road by about 12 seconds until the group joined him...* At B (1d20+9=29) Total roll with cloak (+5) 34 quiet as can be sat in the high grass, not sure if hed been heard or not....The others joined him and if they hadnt been spotted he wanted to...
Cross the road as one with Scouty by his side once the patrol turned off the hill and started west...At D (1d20+9=12) Total Roll with cloak (+5) 17 His feet striking the hardpacked trail much harder than he wanted until he quickly crossed the road and paused just long enough for an acknowledgement from Scouty, then if he didnt end up in a firefight, he wanted to...
Turn left moving as quick as he could in a stealthy crouch through the high grass about 2 paces off the road....paralleling the road for about a 3 count at E (1d20+9=15) total roll with cloak (+5) 19 He still felt he was making far too much noise moving through the brush until he felt he could turn if he hadnt been spotted he wanted to...
then quick like a fox he turned right making his way directly in for a 6 count, then he turned back into the box looking for Scouty quickly..once found he motioned for Scouty to drop and watch, then made a straight line back to the road....the whole box taking under 15 seconds at G (1d20+9=24) total roll with cloak (+5) 29 Once back to road..if he hadnt been spotted and now faced a fight...he wanted to
Wait as the others crossed the road at his urgings...as one they came while he stood watch....he crouched watching back towards the hill and the otherside where the patrol would be...at H (1d20+9=17) total roll with cloak (+5) 22...he waited as the others headed across the 60 feet to where Scouty kept watch.....if there was no alert I wanted to...
head back to join them and then begin the trek out of the danger area...at I (1d20+9=24) total roll with cloak: 29 Joining the others we left quickly...
some pretty bad rolls mixed in there...ugh----this all takes place at H22 for the crossing, if noone has any other ideas.

L26 is fine for starters.Question, Are we using action points? It's relevant for artificers as the infusions they cast can take 10rnds (1 minute),or 1 stnd action with the expenditure of an action point.
If using action points...Nomric will hunch down and quietly cast personal weapon aug.(lvl1 infusion)undead bane(+2 to hit n dmg and +2d6 dmg)on his MKII using 1 action point.
If not...Nomric will hunker down and search for 3 rocks perception/search for 3 rocks (1d20+6=10).

You can see the emery as they near. Four skeletons dressed in breast plate. Two in front carry dual scimitars as the two in the rear crossbows. Against what appear to be skeletal undead, Garroth's preference is to engage them in melee, as his fists and feet will be far more effective than his other weapons. He will signal his intentions to his teammates: "Will hold action until you've all fired or moved up. Then will engage foes in hand-to-hand combat."
In game terms, I'm delaying my action to go last (after Nomric). Assuming the patrol has gotten closer, I will charge the closest one and attack with an unarmed strike. Unless someone has a different suggestion, that is ...

Realizing they had been spotted, Randal whispers to Scouty "We need to lure them into a kill zone, follow my lead..." guaging the distance quickly and how fast they can move, Randal moves away from the hill, parrallel to the road move action to G31, he turns and fires his crossbow at one of the Skeletons bearing a crossbow, MK II Repeating Crossbow +6 d8 19-20/X2 120 ft-Light- Piercing Shots per clip: 10. 3 clips. fire at a skeleton (1d20+6=25) if it hit...damage (1d8=8) He watched as his aim was true and the bolt sped from the MKII straight towards the heavily Armored Skeleton....knowing, this wasnt the best weapon to use, but he wanted to bait them closer...

Randal's bolt digs into the front right undead seeming to have little effect as jax and gorrath charge the other one. Jax's energy hammer seems to hit hard as flacks and bone rip from the decaying skeleton. Gorrath steps up but the skeleton is far more nimble then it seems and easy turns aside his blow. Scouty fires her crossbow only to have it jam move action to clear it
The skeletons attack back at Jax and gorrath both easily avoiding the four scimitars the sliced at them. The crossbowmen at the rear take aim and fire a full volley at the two evading squad members. Each is laced with pain as bolts drives into their flesh
Ok jax is at18HP, Gorrath is at 25 hp. Nomrik I over looked it but yeah you found the peoples last round. Post up guys, i'll update when ya post. on to round 2.
