Oh, it's sooooo good. I can't wait to get it wrapped up in a pretty bow for you all. I had a chance to whack at it some tonight and it is really shaping up to be all-sorts-of-f&%#ed-up.
Hope you enjoy it...when it...FINALLY...comes out. :-/
seriously does anyone know anything about what is going on- with Nick, with the Razor Coast?
Hi Guys!
My new life is wonderful. I adore being a size D. Razor Coast is still in editing, but I finally finish my marking for the term this on Monday and I'm interviewing people to be my assistant on Tuesday, so from Wed. on I'm all sorts of Sinister again. Can't wait to have time to finish up RC and get cranking on Known Universe Gaz as well (it just needs editing too!).
Thanks for your patience everyone. I think you'll like my new figure.
I am shining my eyepatch, honing my cutlass and teaching my parrot to praise Dajobas in anticipation ....

Oh, I am VERY MUCH looking forward to some serious PaizoconUK action - in fact my Shadowrun group I play with here may come out to the con as well. They've alreadly promised to help me rape-f!@& Pett. There will be BLOOD!
Notices for first time that Mr. Logue does not appear to have an 'h' in his first name....
Umm, how do you feel about a 'britification' of your name by the addition of a 'h' for 'hook mountain', Mr. Logue?
Well just curious, how close is RC to being sent off to the printers? And once it is there any chance those of us that preordered could go ahead and get their PDF's?

Ha! Everyone here adds the "h". It's wierd.
1. That's why we started to call you Nick, so that we haven't to worry about this "h".
2. That's just how we compensate for regularly forgetting the "a" in Vaughns name.
3. Nah, we're all just a bunch of Nickpickers.

You'll want to call him Nic--just like Nicolas/Nic Cage.
I'm probably going to regret this.

Just found the german version of Nic's Sinister adventures so this makes kind of sense to me.

Thanks for the response, somewhat disturbing and informative; just as I have come to expect.

Nick:
I gather some sort of crisis may have come up, urgent enough to cancel the resumption of your battle with Pett. :(
Hope you're all okay.
Thoughts are with you, and if you need it, the Things in Life Which Suck thread is always lurking there, in the Off Topic Discussion forum.
It's been what, a year now since this was promised? I still want the book but I am starting to get angsty since I have Razor Coast on pre-order.
Yeah, are you even still alive ?
Like you know, I could organise a friendly necromancer to show up if you really need it ...
Hi All!
I officially go on leave from my day job this week - which means I am full time on Sinister starting now. First up to bat is Razor Coast, so I hope to have all the editing on this titanic manuscript put to bed in the next couple of weeks so it can go to layout.
I am looking at getting PDFs to all the pre-orders (at least) by October, hopefully printed books by then as well.
Thanks for hanging in there everyone!
There will be a new wave of Indulgences up at bat as soon as I am done editing Razor Coast as well, and then Gazetteer of the Known Universe is on the editing plate after that. Thanks for your continued patience!
Doing alright Kruely! Good to see you, and all the boarders again. It's been one helluva crazy year, but my first academic year ended brilliantly (if busily).
You can check out a trailer one of my students made that gives a slim glimpse of all the madness we got up to with our first year on World Performance. Take a look see if you want:

As cool as all that is (and it's pretty awesome), there aren't nearly enough inbred backwoods ogres. Please ensure that these play a larger role in next year's curriculum. Thanks.

Also, welcome back and enjoy your holiday
There might be a scene from Hangman's Noose in that there trailer though.

Looking forward to Year 2. England is pretty cool as well, though I am looking forward to a month and a half back in the U.S. of A.
Hmm. If you're still in the UK in mid-August, Daniel Barenboim and his West-Eastern Divan orchestra (that's the one bringing together israeli and palestinian musicians) are at the Proms in London on the 21st and 22nd August. One of the concerts on the 21st includes Berlioz's crazy Symphonie fantastique. (If you miss it by being in the US you may be able to catch it to listen to later in the month on the BBC website.)
Sorry you didn't make it to Birmingham, and hope that your relative is recovered now.

Sounds cool Charles! Sadly, I'll be in NYC at the time!
My mom's knee is getting better! Thanks so much! I'll look forward to PaizoconUK, next year! I could have really used a weekend of madcap gaming. Hope you had a great one!
Our inaugural PaizoCon UK went fairly well (I think we have some photos up somewhere on the *PaizoCon UK website*) although I do have this presentation scroll for someone called 'Nicolas Logue' which was never needed.... (I even got the spelling corrected, with the removal of a surplus 'h'!)
Plotting is now under way for PaizoCon UK 2010, since everyone who attended this year's event agreed it was such good fun that they would be happy to come back...

Nick...er...Nikita
I like the concept of the book and while a part of me is getting impatient, my main totems are wolf and bear, so if the pdf and the book come my way by October I'll be happy to see the finished book.
Mr. Logue:
Restless night here in the UK, so having noticed recent Logue activity, I thought I would drop by this thread and point out that speculative dates for PaizoCon UK 2010 are up for discussion now on the PaizoCon UK thread in the PaizoCon forum. At the moment it looks like being the third weekend in July next year, if you're interested in popping by the thead and commenting... :)
The silly thing has been at least a year in coming. Yes, I still want it and the indulgences in print but I'm not holding out much hope on the latter. I go to a furry con in CT in Oct. If I have enough time to read the adventure before hand I may keep that as an option to what I am running there.
One great thing about waiting for Razor Coast is that it makes waiting for anything else more bearable - for example, how difficult was it waiting for the Aug Paizo PDFs this past week? How difficult is it waiting for Pathfinder? It's all easy compared to the 18+ month vigilance we all have looking for the coast...
Another neat thing about Razor Coast is that now it is being offered in Pathfinder RPG format as well. I'm hearing a November release in print which is still a few months off but I've waited this long, I will wait for the release and enjoy myself.

Hey, Thanksgiving with pirates*! What could be better?
* 'Course the Wampanoag have always maintained that Thanksgiving was all about pirates.
Last I heard anything about it on his site was. That it was in the final edit stages so should be weeks before the PDF's go out. But that has been a couple of weeks so. *shrug*
I got an email from Nick Logue a month or so ago assuring me that it was well on its way. I expect another email from him when he is ready to ship. I may be a dummy but I pre-ordered his game mastery book coming out next year. But I trust in the quality of his work.
While I might otherwise want to needle Nick seeing how the end of November is fast approaching, the bone that got tossed my way is enough for me to get the impression that while everything is not done yet, it's coming along. I'm sure I am not the only one that was sent what was sent but I would like to thank Nick just the same. I will not say what I got as I respect Mr. Logue and what he is trying to accomplish so I'll keep mum on it. Here's hoping the problems are in the past now and that Razor Coast does fabulously. It really looks good from what I can see.
