I liked the ruleset and wish D&D 4e was more like it, but I don't know about patronage.

Absolutely not!

While there are some on the project who would be happy with that, the aims of the lead designer, Gary M. Sarli, are much broader (If anything, it is a remake of Star Wars Saga Edition). It is aimed at creating a genre-less universal system based on the best aspects of previous d20 efforts.

The same man was talking about strong class, fast class and so on....That is not SAGA. Alot of talk on enworld seemed to aim at d20 modern class set up if so I am not interested. Stuff listed there is just not backed up by the same mans posts on enworld. Looks like d20 modern with some saga thrown in from his posts....time will tell
