The spell Displacement & concealment

Does the spell Displacement give any form of concealment? The spell blur and darkness grant concealment, I assume that displacement does also. It seems very vague in the spell description if it does or not.

Don't have books in front of me but my guess would be that no, it doesn't unless otherwise stated. If my memory is correct it just makes you harder to hit??

Read it here (honestly that site should be bookmarked, it's wonderful!)

Quote:
" The subject of this spell appears to be about 2 feet away from its true location. The creature benefits from a 50% miss chance as if it had total concealment. However, unlike actual total concealment, displacement does not prevent enemies from targeting the creature normally. True seeing reveals its true location. "

So I would assume the question becomes how "like" concealment is this.

For example:
1) Can a character under the effects of displacement make a hide check without any other type of cover and/or concealment? (I would guess no)

2) Is a character under the effects of displacement subject to precision based damage (sneak attack, etc.)? (This one is less clear, the rational normally used would say no, but the letter of the rules would be that this is not concealment and only receives a 50% miss chance but no other benefit (like not being subjectable to precision damage).)

3) Can you execute an attack of opportunity against a character under the effect of displacement? (I would think yes on this one, and it seems consistent with both the letter and intent of the rules).

Simple answer to all questions;

make all attacks as normal with all attack bonuses etc. Then roll odd/even to see if it hits or not. If it hits, deal damage as usual.

Tronos has it right. Here's where flavor messes with just knowing what to do. The spell grants a miss chance.
