<sigh> Yet more cool free RPG stuff I miss out on because my LGSs (both of them) didn't participate and I couldn't justify 6+ hours of drive time to get this stuff ... <double sigh>

I don't want to downplay or diminish what you are doing, but it would be great if you could not actually say "...joins Free RPG Day" because technically, you did not, and I don't want the retailers who spent money on the event thinking we are not supporting brick and mortar stores via the PDF market.

Again, let me stress, I love the fact that you are doing this, but if you could say "like Free RPG Day" or "in the spirit of Free RPG Day", that would make my relationship with publisher participants and retailer participants better.

Totally off topic question...

Is Jade Oath still "in process"? If not, have any of the books besides just the two free previews that I saw on RPG Now (PDF or print) been released to the general public?

Sorry my bad, I posted the link and thought that would be enough next time I will be more precise, again apologizes.

As to Jade Oath, It will be released (right on schedule) as a Beta to the general public in August (The patrons want more playtesting), and we will be adding more art work for the final version.

a number of chapters have been released to the patrons and the rest are in editing right now, all the artwork should be in by July 15th and then on to layout and proofing.

4 chapters have been released to patrons of the project, and I will be releasing a few more previews to the general public between here and august (patrons get access and approval on previews first :)\\

A free, downloadable Beta?

Alas, no a purchasable pdf beta with a free upgrade to omega (final) version.

It would be extremely unfair to patrons who paid for the development of this project to offer a free downloadable beta. The Beta will be the exact same price as a standard patronage (except you won't get the patron exclusive adventure) so its still better to sign up as a patron.

Gotcha. Sorry for the ignorance, but your whole project is new to me. I'll go back to the site to read more.
