I've just read through the IC thread. Can I take over the character of Kysstaa? A huge cop-out, I know, but I don't think I have the time to create an exotic Southern character. I've DM'd a game in Halruaa and know that things can be quite different down there.I'm good with that. Kysstaa's a fun character, and I'm pretty sure Foghorn won't mind.

More notes on Kysstaa:
Kysstaa is generally unaware of other religions than his own (the original PC's choice). There are a number of factors with this, and due to his "scaled-ness" he will receive cold shoulders until trust is earned (via the other PC's or otherwise). The lack of a tail implies (to the Tashalan people) that he was the experiment of Yuan-Ti, which may make things harder, and some species-charged insults will fly.Just making sure you're aware of the Kysstaa up to this point, int the original player's ideas.

A side note: I'll be updating the PbP for this round of folks and the originals (side note: JZ needs to pay attention now) on FRIDAY folks. Please finish up the last details by Thursday, but as a note, once you are ready, go ahead and post in the PbP. I'll be doing another update Friday evening/Saturday morning.
JZ: Create an alias with Kysstaa in it, make it Kysstaa_JZ or somesuch so that we don't run into any problems with thforums saying the name's already taken.

Well, I have a hole in my hide that is more than an inch in diameter and about three eighths of an inch deep. I'm pretty certain that I'll survive, but it's very painful and will continue to be so to some extent over the several weeks it will take to fully heal. After that, I'll probably be blessed with a rather grisly scar to remember the experience by. So, yeah, I'm doin' great! ;-)

Good to see you're doing better. Here's hoping that you heal rapidly from your ordeal, and are back to normal in less than several weeks :)

I have updated the character sheet for Moonpate to 2nd level, added 2 traits and used the Occupation: Tavern Server from Tome of Secrets to further flesh out his background. Let me know if I need to make any changes.
Given how wierd that section of the book is on the previous occupations, I'd rather use it as a trait. That being said, I think the following modification should be in play:
Occupation name: x
Alignments: Stays as is
Skills: the class skill bonus and +1 competence bonus stays
Bonus Feats: Eliminate entirely
Starting Gold: Eliminate entirely.
I really like the concept of getting a class skill (2-3) with a +1 competence bonus. I'm good with doing it that way, but since not all of the occupations grant bonus feats (nor do I count everyone as having the book), I don't want to overdo it. If you want to use a trait, great. If not, then I'd say remove it, please. (Sorry :( ).
T&M: How's the Knee? Still interested?The knee sucks and is regularly painful. I've got a one inch diameter by quarter inch deep hole that I'm changing dressings on twice a day at the moment.
Anyway, I'm definitely still interested. What else do I need to do?
Finish up the history into the Char sheet, and then you're pretty well set (mechanically speaking).
Go ahead and start posting, even without the history, but please have that part done by the end of the week.

Hey D, was looking over the classes and a few of them got me interested, I was wondering cause I saw you are allowing some of the Drag Comp classes, if you would be willing to allow the Montebanks class as well. let me know thanx.

I like the Dragon compendium classes in general. I'd allow the Battle Dancer, Jester and the Savant, but none of the others (due to the non-evil nature of the campaign). I see the death masters and Mountebanks as antagonists, rather than protagonists in this path. Sorry./d
Looks like you have a bunch of players! But...if you need another player, (or a replacement) I have a couple of characters already rolled up from failed pbps. One is a halfling rogue, the other a dwarven fighter. Both were created with the Pathfinder rules, but could easily be tweaked to fit in. Twice a week posting or even more during combat is fairly easy for me...as long as it is early morning/late night or during the weekend. Our tech boys at work block this site (grumble).

hey D, two questions what level do I need to create for cause I see your orig post says 1st level and then there are post about 2nd level, which is it 1st or 2nd? Second is the Oracle from the playtest in?

First level. The first adventure in the AP is actually written for first level, And until after the first "true" adventure of the AP, all new folk get to start at 1st level.
Oracle from the playtest is in, as is the Shadowcaster. Feel free to email me if you have any specific concerns.
Party makeup right now:
Bard, Paladin (a human and a lizardfolk, pending Papa DRB), a ranger, a rogue, a cleric/wizard (mystic theurge bound), a tiefling rogue, and a wizard.
Pending posts: Tiefling Rogue, Human Paladin. All others have posted.
@Hedgeknight: You're welcome to be in, provided you can tweak to be in by Friday. Given the way things are heading, I'm certain we'll need another fighter more than a rogue, but I'm flexible.
