Any updates on the final player tally?

If we don't hear back from Catman by the end of the weekend, I'll go ahead and get the starting posts going for the actual campaign, we'll run with four, and I'll solicit anyone else as jumping into the campaign at a logical point after the rest of us are playing.

Once I get an answer on a pair of characters and if they are going to know each other, I'm going to start the regular thread going, but if you happen to get a more formal write up of your background and your character statted up by the time I get that answer, I'll go ahead and have your character ready to go at the beginning of the campaign.

Devoted to the god Cayden Caliean and works with the priests to help victims of kidnappers.

Pretends to be a drunken fop during the day, rescues kidnap victims by night as "The Masked Man"; (probably going for Liberator later).

Second Darkness Campaign Trait: Fools for Friends [any candidates come to mind?]

Why not work with Catman on that? That way when you are introduced both of you can come at the same time.

With a bard and a swashbuckler, I could very easily see the pair of you as traveling souls looking for adventure, that just happened to meet at the Publican House, the temple to Cayden Cailean, and decided to find your fortunes from there.

If that doesn't contradict with you view of your bard, Catman, and the you can get the bard written up and traits picked, you guys still have time to jump into the beginning of the campaign, since I just posted the opening post of the campaign.

That having been said, post the character here first and let me okay it before you start posting in the campaign thread.

Looks good so far, just need to see a campaign trait and one other trait, and to know if the above is okay with you (i.e. meeting the swashbuckler at Cayden's temple).

Hey, JZ? If you're still watching this, catman seems to have dropped out with his bard, so we could use someone to pick up the space... I could probably work Celestial Half-Porc in as well, if you wanted to. Currently we have a human rogue, a gnome sorceress, a halfling cleric, and an elf fighter (who I am DMPCing thanks to KEJR needing to drop out).

I don't even know if JZ wants to play - it's been well over a month since he expressed interest. But the group's got all the basics covered except possibly trapfinding, so I think you can probably go whichever way you like. Assuming you want to join, though, why don't you step over to the Discussion Thread and we'll get you started...
