So, currently a game thread seems to be down to two players/characters, myself (Selyne) and Dao.

The Dm has asked that a cal go out for more/new characters to be added so that the thread may continue.

The OOC thread is here, with character generation etc.

"The Island Prison"

I hope this missive meets with the Dm approval and await to see how comes forward with what character.

This sounds fun, just need to know is this PF or 3.5 rules?

Thinking of a fighter/swashbuckler type, again depends on what rules you are using. I am fine either way.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber)

I would absolutely love to play!!!

Either a wizard or a cleric! I'm going to read up on what's been covered first! Please put my name down for this!!!

EDIT: 3.5 of PFRPG?

*bows* Thank you for the quick reply.

The guide lines for character generation are

Here:"The Island Prison"

Feel free to peruse said posts and I wish you the best in joining the group.

Well I am assuming this is 3.5 rules. But you know what they say about assuming things, he, he.

If so, then my char concept is a halfling swashbuckler5/warlock2, AL CN. if this is ok then I will submit stats later this evening.

I'm around, just busy with RPG Superstar at the moment. I'll be back to posting more soon!

Looking forward to meeting new party members.

Spell casting is always good, we seem to be encountering quite a bit of the menacing dinosaur type company.

Character is on profile now, in progress.

I am the DM, and I approve this recruitment thread.

It is 3.5 rules.

*looks up Jimpy in RPG Superstar*

So.. you are the one who made the Wyrmhiri...

Spoiler:
Congratulations on making it this far! Keep up the good work, and fireball any who get in your way!

Glad you approve of the thread, now if you just approve my character... Just need to buy equipment and he is set.

What kind of gods are there? A budding cleric needs to know?

Any gods found in the PHB, Complete Warrior, and Complete Divine are allowed.

Also, you must be accused and convicted of a crime, whether or not you are actually guilty.

Alingment has no restrictions, except for certain classes(bard, monk, samurai), as normal.

If you are ready, I'll write your intro and we can go from there.

Looks like you might be a little light on the Arcane side. I was considering a Wizard/Druid building to Arcane Hierophant (Races of the Wild). If you would like I can send you a pdf of the class so you can peruse it and give me a thumbs up/down on that idea.

That would be appreciated.

After looking it over, I've decided to allow it.

Thanks.
I should have something together tonight and ready to be posted tommorrow.
I noticed some of the Completes listed as acceptable material and was wondering if Complete Adventurer would be OK? (specifically this feat).

Natural Bond
Type: General
Source: Complete Adventurer

Your bond with your animal companion is exceptionally strong.

Prerequisite: Animal companion.
Benefit: Add three to your effective druid level for the purpose of determining the bonus Hit Dice, extra tricks, special abilities, and other bonuses that your animal companion receives (see page 36 of the Player's Handbook). This bonus can never make your effective druid level exceed your character level.

For this feat, I'll say no. Your animal companion is already going to be better(though in a different way) than another druid of equal level.

Is there any room left for a Persian inspired, lawfully aligned battle sorcerer who is on the way to become a Master of the Unseen Hand?

Ummmmmmm, US??

Senmont here. This is my PC so far. I just have to pick spells, equipment, and some other details. Assuming I am accepted.

So far Heydar, the only thing I see that needs corrected is under the Aasimar tag. Aasimars get daylight as a spell-like ability, not light.

Thanks. I didn't notice. I am building this character directly on the website, so I am still tweaking, but can have it ready anytime. The more time I have, the more time I think of new things. I might not leave it aasimar, because I am thinking a human Warrior/Sorcerer will a better pick for the background I have in mind.

Ready.

Oops. I only get one second level spell but accidentally wrote two. But, you brought to my attention that I need to add one more cantrip. Thanks.

Just a quick question, is Battle sorcerer a variant sorcerer type, and where can i find it?

(Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion Subscriber)

Sorry for the delay in getting something together. My daughter's 5th birthday party took up more of my time than I thought. should be ready tommorrow.

Eric Swanson wrote:

Right Here.

I think it is in the Unearthed Arcana, but I would never have thought of using it if we weren't directed to the hypertext website. That is also how i got the idea to use the generic warrior.

Cool, I think you will come in handy very soon...

My initiative is rolled, I'm just waiting for the green light.

Heydar/Dragonborn3:

Spoiler:

I noticced by your background you used to work for a kingdom that was corrupted by a succubus. In my background, I was framed for sinking a royal vessel, by someone, a rival kingdom. What do you think if they were the same? it would give us common cause against the same foe.

That'd be cool. It might even be that your ship did privateer work for my office. That could have been a first connection that spiralled into a plot to bring us down.

That's assuming I'm innocent...

I don't mind if you have a connection to the other, in fact, it gives you even more reason to work together and stay alive.

I don't know what's going on, but a once a week post rate can't keep my attention. That's ok, there is a certain elven-orc that is going to have to deal with a certain dwarven-orc for a while I believe.

Wow are you asking her on a date, he he ;-)

*Scratches head* That is unfortunate. A pity but still this is the first PbP where a character has literally 'dropped' them selves out.

Best wishes to yourself and hope to see you some where in another thread.

Is there still room for one more?

I haven't PbPed in a couple years and i'm looking for a regular game. I'm thinking a rogue/sorcerer but i'm willing to play nearly anything.

I do think there's always room for one more (Of note, I do not pull rabbits out of hats. :P) this, however, is not my game and so I can on;y hope the DM makes their wishes known to yourself and every one else as soon as they have the time. :)

Real Life can kind of suck some times with schedules and all that.

Looking forward to whatever character you create.

Cheers!
