Hey fellow Paizonians,

I'm looking for a gaming group near Tacoma (I just moved to old Steilacoom from back East). I'd love to play in or run a group playing Pathfinder APs, but I'd be interested in any Pathfinder or 3.5 group.

A little about me:
I am 32, professional, been playing and DMing D&D since early 2nd ed. (almost 20 years). I have experience with other games and systems too (GURPS, Palladium, White Wolf, various d20 games such as Mutants and Masterminds). I am a PFRPG fanboy. Back east, my old group was together for 7 or 8 years and I feel confident that anybody I've played with would tell you I'm the kind of player you'd want at your table.

I know the Pac NW is the epicenter of all gaming so I am hopeful to find a group soon! I am willing to drive 1hr+ to attend a game if the group is just right.

Grr, for some odd reason hitting submit post took me to the main page.

Anyways... I've got some good news for you.

I live in Graham, maybe 8 miles south of Puyallup, so... that's one down.

Her Charlie, I'm south of you a few miles in Olympia. Currently don't have a regular gaming group, mine disbanded due to a lot of my friends have crazy schedules (ah, to be a wage slave), and I'm participating in a sporadic Scion game...

I would be willing to get in on a another gaming group should it present itself, and I am one of those crazy people that enjoy DMing as much as playing. :P

Lol, that places me just about in the middle. If that remains the case with anybody else that shows up maybe we should meet up at a restaraunt or something? I know a few good spots.

If there's a FLGS in Tacoma they might be willing to host. That's what, 30-45 min from Olympia? I could host too, probably starting 2-3 weeks from now.

Is there a reason you didn't mention me?

Oh no, I meant the reply to include both of you! That's 3 of us already.

lol, that's a relief. Not really used to statements in my posts not being directly replied to, so when it doesn't happen I get weird vibes lol.

Regretably though, I don't actually have wheels of my own at present, so I'm kind of limited to the bus routes up Meridian into south hill and puyallup, or up Pacific Avenue into Spanaway.

If your familiar with either of the two areas I'm sure we could come up with something.

Interesting news guys, another potential member contacted me on another thread. I redirected him here.

Yeah I saw. I haven't forgotten about you guys, I just haven't been equipped for gaming yet. My wife's coming up next weekend and will be bringing my dice, books, tac tiles, etc.

Your wife's not around huh, that kind of blows.

Sorry he never posted here, I guess I can give him a call when we're ready to get things moving.

And Charlie....

Spoiler:
Just curious, you waiting on something to post in the zombie thread Charlie?

Andoran (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Battles Case, GameMastery Maps Subscriber)

Yeah it sucks particularly for us as a group because she'd be another player.

And I was mainly just waiting to see if anything was going to happen to me on my way to the sword store. IDK if zombies are IN the mall yet and I don't want to take the prerogative of deciding that they are already. But it doesn't seem that it should be so easy for us to gear up with total impunity either.

On a side note, I'm thinking about heading down to Portland the weekend of Nov. 13-14 for Burnt Offerings on Stage. Anybody interested in carpooling or catching a train?

Ah, got my dice, tac-tiles, DM screen, notebook, and PFRPG core books with me now. This week sometime I'm going to go recon Tacoma FLGS's to try and find a good location and perhaps some more players. Kyrt, I know you said you have no wheels, any chance of being able to bus it to an FLGS weekly or so?

I suppose that I could, I'd have to spend some time familiarizing myself with the bus routes and such, but it could be doable.

The easiest thing on my part would be something either on Meridian (south hill) Or Pacific Avenue (spanaway) because both of those are on the bus line that goes from near my house, but if I have to I could figure out a multi-bus pattern to get me close. Somebody might have to pick me up somewhere though lol.

Also... when you say PFRPG core bookS do you mean to say you've got the beastiary too? I've had the worst itch to look that over lately lol.

Yeah, got it in the mail a few days ago. If money was tight, I think I'd break my lease before I gave up my Paizo subs.
