If you really want to, but it's not necessary. All Scions of the Amatsukami can access Tsukumo-Gami with no relic needed.

That's right.

For 1 dot in a Relic what kind of bonus to Craft could I get? bonus to melee damage?

I'm working on Scotty and will have him completed later tonight.

An extra die for a Craft roll, or +1 to damage for a weapon.

Ok, I got the crunch almost done.

I'm at a loss for 4 points in Birthright.
I was thinking weapon or guide... but the Guide says another Scion, could it be something else?

Osirion (Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber)

Benny is a Japanese-American and I wanted him to know Japanese and English.

How are languages handled?
Do we get one per Int dot?
Unlimited, since we're Scions?

The Acedemics skill has the only mention of laungages I've seen.

"Note: A multilingual character can speak a maximum
number of languages equal to his (Intelligence +
Academics). A character must still actually learn the
additional languages he speaks, though—whether doing
so is part of his upbringing or happens over time in
game. He does not spontaneously understand new
languages each time he gets a new Academics dot."

So I think it's up to you your Intelligence+Academics and the GM.

What I have for my character's Languages are Nahuatl (Aztec) and two other closely related and widely used native languages.
Spanish, because he grew up in Mexico City and English becauses he went to Oxford.

Where did you get the pdfs? I bought the hard copy for Hero yesterday and am making a character now, but I always like to have pdfs in addition to (or even instead of) dead tree.

You should be able to get them here from Paizo but I got mine from Drive thru RPG, rerouted from White Wolfs website.

Ah, yes. Paizo only has hard copy, but Drive Thru did indeed have pdf versions available. For reading, I prefer the former, but for in-game reference, nothing beats searchable pdf.

Ok, done.
/almost
I wanted to make a weapon/relic. I've seen many in the books that can be summoned but that is not a power listed in it's write up.
Are we able to summon our relic weapons?
Would this be a 1 dot cost?
Also would it be 1 dot to make a weapon do lethal damage instead of bashing?
(There's a weapon that does it but again, no power for it in the write up.)

I think I'm done, just need to polish up the backstory.

With a Legend of 2, you can't have any Boons or Epic Attributes rated higher than 1.

Fixed;

Removed epic Charisma and assocated knack, removed extra point of virtue, raised legend to 3.

That still leaves you with a Healing Boon you can't get yet...

Shisumo, check my question above re: weapon.

Oops the healing boon should have been the two point healing boon in the first place, fixed.

Also added a phonetic spelling of his name to profile.

@Xochipilli Tocal
Why do you have Str 4/2 and Int 5/1?
(I'm new and curious.)

The 2 epic points in Str give Tocal some pretty impressive physical bonus in and out of combat not including the knacks he gets.

With the 2 points epic Str Tocal can lift over 2,000lbs, throw objects 4 times the average distance and he can also make a standing jump of 40 feet.
Epic Int doesn’t give extra benefits other than the automatic successes. A 5/1 Int gives you about the same probability for successful rolls as a 4/2 Int but except for the knacks it doesn’t give you anything else.
The epic Str fits into Tocals fighting style, leap in and attack then leap out also I want to throw a car at least once.

Osirion (Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber)

Oh, so that represents normal Str/epic Str.
On the Char sheet, do the boxes represent epic stats?

Yes they do.

Finished polishing the background, just need GMs final approval.

Sorry, I had to do some research.

A relic that would automatically teleport to you under any circumstances would be a 2 dot power. There are a number of weaker versions that would be 1 dot, though, including a second relic that did the teleportation for you, a relic that flies to you at roughly 1 mile per 6 ticks, and so on.

A lethal/nonlethal option would also be a 1 dot power.

Osirion (Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber)

Can you later improve a relic? (add dots/powers)

Shisumo wrote:

Could I have it be my choice on the weapon damage for 1 dot?

(Basically choose bashing or lethal when I draw the weapon or before hitting.)

Cheliax (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Modules Subscriber)

I'm getting pretty close to having all of the crunchy bits here.

For fluff, I don't have a background, appearance, or even name yet; however, I do have a solid concept, and this is the most important part anyway.

I've got to go to work now, but here's a peek at what I'm currently working with, extended as an invitation for commentary and constructive criticism.

Tensility's Scion (in development

Cheers!

Cool stuff there.

If we are going to know each other before hand, Benny could be the mechanic you found to check out a car that was involved in a case you had.

Wow you guys are looking nice so far! Impressive.

Andoran (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion Subscriber)

Okay, let's have a discussion thread! Since JZ has not reappeared, deathboy, you're welcome to step in and join us. (And in answer to your question, I own Hero, Demigod and God, but since this seems to be moving forward, I'm thinking seriously about picking up the Companion as well; for the moment, though, anything from it needs to be specifically approved by me.)

Thanks for having me.

I'm bumping this out of the archives because I fear one of my players might be slipping away. I had two extra slots available in the first place, so if there's anyone who might be interested in joining up, I could definitely get you onboard!
