Damn skippy. Of all the characters on the show, he is one of my favorites. A guy with no powers whatsoever, and he not only "hangs with the big dogs", sometimes he scares the piss out of them.A guy with no powers...that we know of. We already know that other members of the organization, Mrs. Pettrelli, Blitz-girl's dad, and Parkman's father all had powers. It's possible that Bennet and the others do have powers and that they haven't been revealed to us.
For all we know, he could have an ability that isn't worth a damn in a fight, but could be extraordinarily useful in other situations. Considering the other guy could turn things into gold, it would be an easy way for the organization to have a lot of liquid assets on had at a moment's notice.
Actually, between the show itself, all the online graphic novels, and other extra content, I think it has been pretty well established that Noah doesn't have any power. He is just a well-trained, highly intelligent, and very determined bad-ass.

I had a "duh" moment watching "Angels & Monsters" when they showed Mrs. Petrelli having her vision. It wasn't until that moment that I made the concious connection between Peter's ability and her's. It seems pretty obvious in hindsight...
The sudden shifts in behavior are getting irksome. Sylar good; Hiro bad; Claire stupid...I'm having trouble buying it.

If it's not a fake-out, it's a huge characterization mistake. There's no way Hiro would do such a thing, especially with so little hesitation. He already knows he can't use his time-shifting powers to bring dead people back to life.
I know the purpose of this season is to show the dark sides of the heroes, but the show runs a major risk of not giving the viewers anyone to root for. So far we've seen four of the best-liked and most sympathetic characters... Mohinder, Peter, Claire and Hiro... do things we'll never be able to forgive them for, unless they're reversed by yet another Reset Button gimmick.
While it's all interesting, I'm not sure this Bizarro World, Bearded Spock version of heroes is going to work... for me, at least.

That article nailed a LOT of issues I've been having with Heroes lately, particularly the enough with the time hopping and new heroes every week trends. Whether NBC actually listens to its fans over those issues or not remains to be seen. The show is still good, but I think it's teetering on breaking my suspension of disbelief window.
In a strange way, it's starting to feel like a bad game of D&D where there's no risk to any main characters because everyone at the table knows the DM will always find a way for them to come back.

And not only does Arthur Petrelli have a power, but its a touch version of Peter's ability? And not only does he use it to steal Adam's ability (thus killing the poor bastard), but now he has all of Peter's power's, which include Sylar's, Parkman's, and Nuke-boy Ted.
This is getting pretty f#$@ed up.

Over on the M&M boards someone predicted a few weeks ago that maybe Sylar would cure Elle instead of killing her, and then somebody else snarkily responded that such a thing would be awesome and a sign of character growth and development, and so it wouldn't happen.
Sarcastic laughter ensued. And then the next week, we all ate massive crow, as Sylar actually *did* seem to be about to undergo some serious character growth.
But now we can rest easy. The writers have not let us down, once again resetting everyone back to where they started, so that a big fat *nothing* gets resolved and everyone is exactly how they were at the beginning.
Nathan is back to making the 'hard decision' to work for the bad guys.
Claire is back to her yo-yo behavior of making up with her dad during one episode, and feeling betrayed by him the next.
Sylar is back to killing people for no reason at all (since he already had Elle's power).
Peter continues to defy Darwin and do things to get himself killed (like jump off buildings, which he did twice in season one alone!), but somehow survive.
The theme of this show should be, 'Live and don't learn, that's us!'
If they killed off Elle (and I'm not certain they did... the scene was ambiguous), I'm not okay with it.
They had a great opportunity there to tell a nice redemption story for Elle (with Claire's help), but as things stand now her whole character arc was essentially meaningless.

One thing that annoyed me about Sylar killing Elle is that they forgot about what happened last time he tried doing the exact same thing - she exploded, knocked him unconscious, and released everyone on Level 5. Jeph Loeb noted that "it's not a good idea to cut open someone that's made of electricity," but he didn't seem to have much trouble with it this time.
That makes me think, though - how cool would it have been if they'd done something similar with Ted Sprague to what happened to Captain Atom in Kingdom Come? Sylar goes to cut him open, his nuclear energy comes out, and that's the blast that they're trying to prevent at the end of season one.

No offence but the entire season contradicts basically everything short of taking out a perfectly good mastermind replacing him with someone who was supposed to have been hinted in season 1 as having been driven to suicide by Maury Parkman ala the story with Molly and there's someone worse than Sylar out there...
Then there's the whole artifical powers thing which was utterly pointless about the only bit that I thought was okay was the revaltion that Sylar doesn't eat the brains since it got me thinking the company was shadowing him since they then could nab the brain since it was evidently what Sylar was examining to gain that person's power and what the company needed to find a way to reproduce it all so neat and tidy and they had to basically mess the entire series up with this rubbish after the pitfall of season 2 which in comparison was a longwinded act of genius!
Still Hiro in a comic shop relearning how to use his powers does come across as a glimmer of light in the black hole this series is being sucked into shame it was so much better than Lost too...
PS: Except the pilot of Lost since that was utterly incredible!
It's possible that Sylar wasn't killing Elle, but probing her mind for information about his real parentage. That would gibe with Elle's relative lack of screaming and the look on Sylar's face at the end of the scene.
This season's Sylar may be the most poorly written major character I've ever seen in a TV show. He does more inexplicable face/heel turns than a pro wrestler. He tells Elle his "reformed" persona was only a result of losing his powers, but that whole "empathy" thing with Elle in the holding cell was long before the eclipse.
I just hope they keep Elle alive long enough for Bryan Fuller to get ahold of her and use her the way she was intended: as a "dark mirror" of Claire who could find her way out of her personal hell with Claire's help.
And I want to see more of Kristen, dammit.

Best damn character on the whole show. Her, Ando and, uh, I think that's it. The rest of them can die in a fire.

They've contradicted themselves so much that it's all tangled up, and the stuff they say online only makes things worse, by revealing that Sylar isn't supposed to still have Ted Sprang's nuclear powers (and then having future Gabriel blow up a city, and mysteriously die from it, even though Claire's powers, which Sylar also had, were enough to prevent Peter from dying from the same type of internal nuclear explosion back in season one...).
So that one scene is like, two seperate mistakes, wrapped into one.
It's like a riddle, wrapped in an enigma, smothered in a warm layer of 'we have no idea what we're doing' and followed up with a shrug and an admission that 'I'm just watching it to see if Ali Larter gets her clothes off again.'
The past 4 episodes I haven't been able to make it to the end without falling asleep. The characters are all fine, but the storyline is a wreck. I liked the last episode also, but I'm a bit confused. Where did Mr. Petrelli gain the time travelling power? Did he get it from Hiro when he wiped his memory, but somehow left it with Hiro at the same time? I thought that he permanently drained people's powers.
Also, how did he know to show up then? Did they cut a scene with him painting that in the past?

Probably a deleted scene showing him painting an image of Usutu and Hiro most probably.
The real problem is that they got a shock when people complained about season 2 and I for one would have liked to have seen what they had originally planned for Volume 3 before it apparently got jazzed up sorry messed up.
It feels as though they have no idea what they're doing, its a shame they couldn't have just surreptiously posted on any of the many discussion forums and let us bicker it out, it would have prevented so many of those problems but create lots more!

But gosh, you missed the part where Hiro went back in time so that he could utterly fail his mother and complete his sacred mission to hand the formula over to the villains, the same way he utterly failed his father by giving away the first two parts of it.
Ando can't get powers and kill that fool fast enough... The people who are *deliberately* working for Arthur Petrelli have never managed to do as much for him as Hiro has done lamely floundering around attempting to stop him!

I still can't get over the fact that DC killed off Superman! :)
I've been pretty disappointed in the last three episodes myself. However, Arthur had the last part of the puzzle either way at that point - he was going to get Claire. Hiro just didn't do any better.
As far as people staying dead - other than flashbacks, nearly everyone who has died has stayed that way. The major exception is HRG. I don't count the people who have healing powers. Arthur's non-death isn't nearly the thing people make it out to be.
I want Claude back.

You sure about that?..I seem to remember a few times people in the area of him not being able to use thier powers.... but that could be a faulty memory..

Also, let's face it, we've never actually seen people able to fight back against the Haitian. They usually get taken down pretty quickly once he block's their ability. It might be that the combination of all the abilities Arthur had stolen (including mental abilites), plus a lot of willpower, may have allowed some resistance.
As for Elle's death, while I liked the character, I much prefer to see Sylar return to his loner/serial killer ways. I hope they keep him that way.
By the way, I read that Entertainment Weekly revealed that John Glover is going to guest star as Sylar's real father. That could be cool.

This week anyway. He used to be able to shut down people's powers without even knowing that they were in the area (he did it to Parkman back in season one, and he did it to both Hiro and speedster-chick in this very season, during the hand-off of the second part of the formula!).

At least Sarah Conner Chronicles is still good. And Supernatural is still better than anything that's been on the air since Firefly. And Burn Notice is coming back soon...
