Most of the show looks good but the baby alien needing a lift back to venus and the visions that the crew are starting to have makes me thik the show is really "LOST" in space.

I'm probably the only person on the planet who's only seen the first season of Lost.

I've only seen the first season and part of the second but got bored with it and stopped watching.

No but I did stop shortly after the first half of the series mostly because that was the only boxed set i bothered to buy.
Honestly? A version of LOST that takes place on a space ship sounds like just about the coolest thing ever to me.

So Far I think this show is great!... I am worried though that due to poor viewership the show won't last. Hopefully they will take into account online sales, I know in Itunes it has been in the top 10 many times.

I quit watching when I became certain that they were just making the s~~~ up as they went along.
That and 6 episodes followed by two months of those 6 episodes, then the previous "seasonling's" six episodes kinda did me in.

Might I humbly point out that the first season of ST-TNG only came out about six episodes at a time?

Great show! Only 3 episodes left, and they've done a pretty terrific job.

It is a great show.. I just hope lukewarm ratings don't get the show cancelled.
Someone at ABC called the last episode this year the "series finale" instead of season finale, but publicist for the show says it has not been cancelled.

That's the way I was...halfway through the second season I got bored. I was excited about it during the first season, but I just didn't care after nothing ever got resolved.
I really like Defying Gravity (I like Ron Livingston quite a bit--Band of Brothers was wonderful) and I do like the writing, but Fox ran a pilot a few weeks back--Virtuality I think it was called? I can't help but think that it would have been better than Defying Gravity--of course, it didn't get picked up and DG did, so it's got that going for it.

I read an article over at BBC (which I can't find anymore) saying that only 11 episodes had been commissioned, making this a really long TV movie from the old days of the 80s.
Unfortunately, as you say, ratings have gone down with every episode :-(

And they already cancelled this. What makes me angry is that they have two episodes left to air and they're not planning to. Darn you, TV Execs!

The last three episodes will be available through iTunes, Hulu.com (free), and ABC.com
I'm very bummed this got cancelled. I liked the show way better than most of the stuff that they come out with. One analysis I read mentioned that there's a chance it could get sold to cable and the last 3 episodes could be held over for the new owner to use. However, they're being aired in Canada soon, as well.
I rather like this show too, hope it does not get cancelled.

I went through this with "Jericho" so good luck dealing with a bubble show you love.
Watched the pilot for DG but it didn't work for me. Seemed a little too soapy for SF and a little too SFy for a soap. Did it find its footing? Maybe I'll look for the DVDs.

The episodes have continued to air in "select locations"--I just finished episode 11.
This show is amazing! I can't believe it got canned for crap like Brothers and Sisters.
Cool observations:
The names are very Dickensian.
“Walker” -- there’s little else to distinguish his character aside from the fact that he walked on Mars.
“Zoe” is the greek word for Life.
“Paula,” is an obvious reference to the Apostle Paul.
“Rollie” --no matter how bad or weird things get he just rolls with it.
“Donner” -- one who’s there at the 'dawn.' He’s also our narrator, which suggests that he’s the guy who sees 'the dawn of a new era.'
For me, this show is an immediate-purchase when it's released on blu-ray.
They've just started airing this on the BBC in the last week or so.
Not a bad program - better than I expected. While I wouldnt rate it as 5/5 I'd give it a solid 3.5, which isnt bad for a new series.
Sadly they've formally announced they've destroyed the sets (according to Wiki, anyway, so pinch of salt with that)
