The British Office is a kafkaesque masterpiece of modern existential comedy.

The American series cannot be taken seriously.

Yes, it is! Assuming you meant "mostly not very funny."

Yes, it is! Assuming you meant "really, really funny." I think it's the only sitcom I watch these days.


I love both Offices, although I think the American Office has deteriorated somewhat the last couple seasons - still pretty dang fun though.

I for one kept expecting David Brent to turn into a cockroach.


The American version of the Office was definitely amusing - enjoyed the episodes that I've seen.

The UK version was fantastic - a brilliant piece of work. On a par with Alan Partridge at his finest for comedy that makes you laugh out loud and cringe in horror at the same time :-)
