"No Half-Orcs." You mean to tell me that half-orcs are so common in the setting that such a sign is necessary? That's way too many half-orcs!

(That was the 3e DMG)

One half-orc can be enough.

I'm mostly an alignist. Alignmentist? Anarchist. That's probably it. I'm an Alignist Anarchist.

Oh, I'm also a racist in real life.

Really, some days I hate those filthy humans.

I liked Katie Ka-boom, and the fact that her dad was Jimmy Stewart. And not so much because my daughter has a similar name and I can do a Jimmy Stewart impersonation. Okay, yes, it was that. Tortured the poor kid for years. She loved all the Animaniacs, except for the "little lady Katie, goes ka-BOOM!"

All this elf-hate is just bewildering. What a sad lot.

I guess no one would believe that my middle name is, quite literally, "Elf Friend". But it is.

I played a Warforged that despised humans.

Meat bags. That's what he called 'em.

Alvin? Hmm... that sounds a lot like elven.

The terms "fleshy" and "fleshy ones" works just as well.

*click. click. BOOM*

+5

What good are humans anyway? Most seem to be lacking the 'versatility' thing people keep spouting.

No, but +10 for the awesome SW reference.

We kobolds have a saying: If the gods didn't intend for us to eat humans (or whatever other intelligent species is at hand), then why did they make them out of meat?

I'm cool with Dwarves actually (they make awesome Barbarians, Clerics, Fighters, and Rangers) and as for Gnomes and Halflings, well, they're geared to specific niches (Gnomes make great Clerics and Wizards while Halflings just scream out Rogue)!

Hags I despise these wicked old ladies...

Kobolds call in exterminators to fumigate the place...

kobold, goblins, gremlins, jermalaine,= Vermin

Does that mean we can now ignore mind-affecting effects and can be targets for the Giant Vermin spell? :)

Yes but notice how thin they are? And need two hands.

Not like this crap.

Oh, and yeah, big sword. Whoopy. If he was hardcore, he'd have three of them coming from the back of each hand.

True. And, relistically, they should be "exotic" weapons, as it did require specialized training to use them on the battle field (hence the double pay).

I imagine dwarves, gnomes and halflings to smell very musty. And a little like pee.

I think that's a defence mechanism like some animals who roll in filth. They hope it turns their natural predators off their meal.

Thankfully, most kobold raiding parties have learned to bring a sorcerer who can cast prestidigitation. They clean them up nice before cooking.

This debate reminds me of my current game. I Always play humans/half-orcs. Where as my friend swill play Nothing BUT halflings because of the +1 racial AC bonus.
I play humans exclusivly in any setting other than ebberon, which is the only time I play half-orcs,House Thorashk rules, I cant stand the movement/strength/equipement penalties associated with being small.

As far as wookies. The only thing that can be said is they are by far the most awesome race in the entire star wars universe.
My wookie Jedi or Wookie Force adept or even my wookie nobleman were by far superior to all other races(c'mon a freaking intellegent race of bunnies for goodness sake) as far as the racial limit to thier speech, everybody always took sherwook as a extra language anyway. When the party attacked me because they didnt understand what I was trying to do and I wiped the floor with them, they learned to speak sherwook real fast.

In conclusion lets face it folks size matters. now where were the rules for half-ogre again?

I love playing as a Human.

Elves, half-elves and half-orcs are tolerable.

Does this make me a racist?

Maybe I just have something against short and squatty characters.
Is there a word for that?

That is funny cause I hate most dwarves as well! Even Luna dosen't really take a shine to them. Probably because she is my raven familiar and she knows that dwarves don't really approve of magic. :P

My fellow gamers like to jibe me and call me a racist but I think that I don't like dwarves simply because in AD&D they seemed way overpowered as a race plus the fact that I usualy played a mage didn't help much since dwarves were notorious mage haters. ( I believe that most of the mage hating posters are secretly dwarves and that dwarves also overran WOTC and that is the reason 4E wizards got mauled with the NERF Great Club +100!)

I don't know if that qualifies me for an out and out racist. If there is a dwarf in the party it will rub me the wrong way at first but I view that more as the antagonism akin to Gimli and Legolas in The Lord of the Rings. I don't attack dwarves on sight, but I don't go out of my way to help them much either. That said, I really did like Flint FireForge and Feros Windchisel from the Dragon Lance campaign setting. I was actually sad when they both died.

Wookies are so annoying. Specifically one handed jedi warrior wookies.
