Hey, Hierophantasm. What?!?!? Love J-metal! You got linky? or track listing? Loudness? X-Japan? Anthem? EZO? Akira Takasaki? Luna-Sea? hIDE?

Right now, I'm listening to a bootleg of the RockStar:INXS contestants from a couple years ago. Marty Casey seemed to me to be the most talented. Love his version of "Dont Change". (and even that sappy "Trees" song).

Normally, I have about 11,000 songs on semi-random* play on iTunes, but right now I'm listening to Aussie artist Missy Higgins' new album, streaming from http://www.missyhiggins.com/ until I get a copy from Australia....

*I actually have a smart playlist that ensures I won't hear any song twice until I've heard every song once, at which time I'll reset the playcount and start all over again.

I picked up "Black Sabbath: the Dio Years."

Add

Candlemass - "Demon's gate"
Dark Tranquilllity - "Lost to apathy"
and that whole Iced Earth "Something wicked this way comes" series. I'm not a huge IE fan, but this sequence effing rocks.

After that, I'll probably put on an hour or two of Thin Lizzy. Huzzah!
