Amy MacDonald 'This is the Life' is currently in the CD player.
Should I take it as a challenge to use some of her lyrics in my game without grinning and giving it away?
Perhaps 'I wish I knew you before' from 'Mr Rock and Roll' could be a line from the very essence of courtly love. There's a certain juxtaposition of bitter-sweetness with battle axes and single-minded brutality amongst my group there worth exploring. Or perhaps not. Maybe there's no connection.
There again - maybe?

Lehrer is a genius! The stuff from Electric Company alone ("Silent E", "N apostrophe T", "-LY") but add the "Element Song", "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park", "The Masochism Tango", and "Send the Marines" plus about 50 others and the guy is unstoppable.

I'm a big fan of The Bomb Song (So Long Mom, I'm Off to Drop the Bomb!) Something that I've always meant to do is to make a short film consisting of horrific clips of war and violence (a la Michael Moore / Serj Tankian / Project ZEITGEIST), and set it to an audio track of 'The Bomb Song' for that added touch of the surreal.

Kyle's a friend of mine, and I didn't even know he was any good until about a year ago, when I saw him live. He always insisted he was just mediocre, but as far as I can tell, he's one of the best indie artists out there.
The video is by Kyle's brother Seth.

I wanna warm my buns this summer summer summer summer
Now I'm sittin' down chillin on some gun powder
