BPRD, and its Hellboy variants.
It's always good, reliable, fun stuff with these!
The Walking Dead.
What an amazing read this is. (And they're working on a TV show??!!?!?!)
Wasteland does not seem to come out often enough... BUT I was a bit disappointed with the last trade, I need to read it again I think. It felt weaker for some reason...
Monthlies,
Powers (which feels like a quarterly lately)
Amazing storytelling there. I just wish Bendis would tone down his Marvel output a little and get back to this one more regularly.
Astro City.
Usually a must read. But the Dark Age 16 parter has come out a bit too slowly. A shorter arc is required right now. But it's still amongst the great, I think.
Avengers - Bendis' run.
Has been really good. And some of the one-shot spotlight issues have been fabulous.
I haven't read any Vertigo in quite a while, but yes Fables is supposed to be amazing.
I thought it was, too, and they dropped the issue about pulling one of the earlier characters out of sort of warp bubble, and I thought that they might keep going. I could be very wrong there.
One I wish they'd bring back was Lone Wolf and Cub 2100, that was a great series and it ended very abruptly.

(Or, "Did they cancel that book?")
Mouseguard-- although I can forgive them, given the whole RPG thing.
Mouse Guard is coming out soon with a new series. Unfortunately, each issue is of some mice in a tavern telling stories about some guards of the past. No news on when the next story line is coming.

That style can work quite well sometimes-- if you're familiar with Global Frequency.
I just did a purge of my comic collection. This is some of what I kept
Watchmen
Xombie
Enigma
Alan Moore Swamp Thing
(for nostalgic reasons) original Legion of Superheroes before the Reboots
Astro City
Rising Stars
Alan Moore Top 10
Hammerlocke
Neil Gaiman Sandman
Killing Joke
Psycho
Kingdom Come
I find I keep the stories with a end to them. They don't go on and on, till the original characters are distorted and soap opera-ed to death, till any shred of what you fell in love with the story and the characters, has been erased away. The Xmen come to mind. For example when I started the Xmen Kitty Pride and Colossus were destined to be couple. When I last read the Xmen, Colossus was gay and with Northstar. That's as bad as NOT making Element Lad in love with Sean in the reboots.
Power Girl (DC) - Probably my favorite book right now. Well written, well drawn. Just enough tongue-in-cheek scripting to make the book worthwhile. Amanda Conner seems perfect for the character.
Captain America (Marvel) - Ed Brubaker treats the subject matter with respect.
Madame Xanadu (Vertigo) - Matt Wagner has surpassed himself. He's found a way to re-introduce DC's "magical" characters through the eyes of one of DC's more obscure characters.
Nova/Guardians of the Galaxy (Marvel) - If you haven't read Dan Abnett's stuff, you're missing out on some great Space Opera/Sci Fi storytelling!
Warlord (DC)- Mike Grell is back. 'Nuff Said!
Justice League of America (DC) - What? James Robinson is writing the JLA? Instantly made my pull list.
Doom Patrol (DC) - Keith Giffen is probably the most under-rated writer in comics. Solid story-telling each month, and the Metal Men backup feature that re-unites Giffen with Maguire is simply priceless!
Wonder Woman (DC) - Just have a soft spot for this character. Gail Simone treats her with respect, and has produced a solid run.
Fantastic Four (Marvel) - The new creative team is taking the FF on a bumpy ride - and it looks like this title is finally back on track after some stalling out.
Amazing Spider-man (Marvel) - In spite of the horrible "Brand New Day" storyline, this book is getting good again. The Gauntlet is a good start. Hopefully they can keep the momentum going. Spidey is my all time favorite character, and it hurt me to drop him from my pull list after Brand New Day. I'm glad I can put the title back on it (for a probationary period, anyway).
Batman (DC) - Tony Daniel's Batman/Dick Grayson is a good read.
Thor (Marvel) - Not sure how Siege is gonna turn out, but this title has definitely sucked me in. I can't wait to see what happens next...
FVZA - Federal Vampire and Zombie Agency (Radical) - Great storyline, decent art, and an incredible premise. I hope there's a follow up to this mini-series.
Fables
Flash
Moon Knight
Anything with Martian Manhunter (too bad those rat bastards killed him)
Anything with Doctor Strange
Anything with Doctor Fate
Anything with Etrigan the Demon
Any New Gods stuff (too bad they all got killed in the Death of the New Gods series)
Jim Starlin's recent work with Adam Strange, The Weird, Captain Comet, etc....
Batman used to be, but ever since the Morrison run and the introduction of Damien, that stuff has been hit or miss.
Joe the Barbarian is just getting going, but it's got a great vibe to it. I think it'll be around for a bit, unless the author intended it as a short series.
Anything JSA :although with the author leaving it might not stay this way :(
Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps
Astonishing X-Men: Cyclops is the character that got me back into reading comics after a long time away with X-Factor #1. Also the reason I haven't read most of the other X titles in years.
Anything with the Martian Manhunter, or Nexus.
Incorruptable
Presently reading the Dick Grayson Batman stuff, and will probably drop it after Bruce Wayne comes back.
I used to collect well over a dozen books. Now I'm down to "The Walking Dead", "Criminal"/"Incognito", Marvel's adaptation of "The Stand", "Buffy Season 8", and "Angel." Really not excited about the last two, so they're likely to get the axe soon to free up some more fun money for Pathfinder RPG purchases. ;)
Sometime this year I'll be dropping some money for the Speeding Bullets tpb. Never read it before, but being the Batman/Superman fan that I am it is a must read.

July 2010: The Stand: Sole Survivors. This is Marvel's 3rd collection adapting Stephen King's epic. The first two were spectacular.
and,
May 2010: The Talisman: The Road of Trials. This is Del Rey's first collection of comics adapting King's and Straub's absolutely phenomenal collaboration.
I really like Nova; used to be Kid Nova; Rich Rider I think it name was and the Nova Corp; looks like that title is about to start up and I want to read it; so it is a must read.
Fables - absolutely amazing
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - classic
Conan - gritty sword and sorcery (I like the new Dark Horse version best)
Unwritten - reminds me of Fables...can't wait to see how this develops
Identity Crisis by Brad Meltzer
Watchmen
Kingdom Come
Seriously, Identity Crisis is one of the best things Ive ever read. better than many novels. It really makes you feel for the heroes, though it focuses, mostly, on some of the lesser DC heroes, opposed to just Bruce, Clark, and Diana.
