I was introduced to Miles Vorkosigan through the book, "Borders of Infinity" by Lois Mcmaster Bujold. I was instantly fascinated by him, a dwarfish overcompensating megalomaniac. Thereafter, I read all the books about him that was ever published about that I could get my hands on to wit:
The Warrior's Apprentice
The Vor Game
Cetaganda
Borders of Infinity
Brothers in Arms
Mirror Dance
Memory
Komarr
A Civil Campaign
Diplomatic Immunity.
I'm presently waiting for the next installment in the series.
Shards of Honor
Barayar
(these two books are also combined into "Cordelia's Honor")
The Warrior's Apprentice
Short Story: The Mountains of Mourning
(all short stories are contained in "Borders of Infinity")
The Vor Game
Cetaganda
Ethan of Athos
Short Story: Labyrinth
Short Story: The Borders of Infinity
Brothers in Arms
The Borders of Infinity
Mirror Dance
Memory
Komarr
A Civil Campaign
Diplomatic Immunity
Great series! I love how she takes on a lot of different genres with him as the focal point. I also enjoyed the few stories "pre-Miles" starring his parents.
Wow, coincidence. I'd never heard of any of the names or books mentioned in this thread, except one.
I just got "Cordelia's Honor" in a box of books left with me by a friend shipped to Iraq. While sifting through the Forgotten Realms novels, I saw Cordelia's Honor, read the first two or three pages and wasn't immediately turned off, and resolved to read it. It's on my nightstand right now.
