I really should check this page more often, going to have to do some adding...

Nebibit; This edition is pretty easy with xps. You need your current Level x 1000xps to make the next level. So if you are 1st level you needed 1k, at lvl 2 you needed 2k more for a total of 3k and on and on. I think most folk are 6th so the base to reach 6th is (1st lvl is free) 1k+2k+3k+4k+5k=15k and you need 6k to make lvl 7 or 21k.

I know not everyone leveled as all characters have not been in the game the same length of time and everyone did not get the exact same number of exps for battles and end of chapter exps. As Kalona stated; just add up your exps to a total and see if it is enough to level your character; I expect those that did not level will probably level soon as I expect there to be a few fights before the main encounter; and this coming breakfast meeting will have many roleplay possibilites for exp.

also; remember; as a cleric; you get 50exps per spell level for spells you cast that aid the party; I will let characters know if a spell they cast is not appropriate for exps.

I am rethinking this as I give all spell casters this exp per spell cast; but with 3.5 having sorcerer who can keep repeating spells over and over and psychic characters; I have to rethink this; the purpose of this was to match the figher bonus for exps for hps of damage dealt in combat that I give (which is a left over from the origianal game; and exps per gold peice a rogue gets for the same reason.

so; right now; we are going for fighter types; 1exp per hp of actual damage dealt; casters; 50 exps per spell cast per level; rogues; 1 exp per gold piece value of treasure gained or stolen.

This is the second time I've done this to Val, and I can't appologise enough. I think you have enough characters going that it won't effect things too badly though.
