Sometimes I wish natural selection didn't take so long. Though we may have minor disagreements, I believe we will operate efficiently. I am glad to have you and Prettykill in the front lines.
Too often, my friends, laws are deemed "unjust" by those who find them, in truth, inconvenient. Yes, sometimes a law should, or even must, be changed. But such matters must be carefully considered to avoid undue turmoil and should never be rushed.
Bah, I do not wish to cause conflict in our fellowship -- so a toast to adventure and artifacts!
I'm also on Pacific Standard Time (US), and primarily available during weekdays. Evenings and weekends are typically reserved for my family, though I can sneak a post in now and again when my daughter is napping.
If people behave in a decent way to other people, no laws would be necessary. Sadly, that is not the way of most people...

How does one write in blue? And make spoiler tags? [embarrassed] And I even work with html codes almost every day...[/embarrassed]
there has a list of all the different tag codes you were very close with the [/embarrassed] :P you would just have to put [embarrassed=me] before that replacing all occurances of the word embarrassed with the word spoiler with some text inbetween
oh you can also click the BBcode tags you can use button (said button appears underneath where your making a post)

I'm honestly a bit worried about our next mission with the society, just a bit of pre-performance jitters I guess, there's always that chance we won't make it though.
Therin grins a bit at Mozzel, clapping her on the shoulder. "Worry not my friend, we have gathered quite a formidable team together for this mission. We will do well, together."
I'm on Central US too, but I work retail, so my schedule is utterly random. Some days I can park in front of the computer all day, others (like today) I barely manage 20 minutes total. I will be around every day though (or will warn you all otherwise), and if I'm the slowest poster, that will be just fine with me...
Most everything looks good with your character - only one note, which is that your CMD should be 14, as far as I can tell (10 + Str mod + Dex mod, with no other modifiers).
Mozzel, Kaeryta and Rufus also look ready to go (though Rufus' dog's stats are still missing...). Therin still needs a change to his ability scores, though.
I had changed them under my statistics tab in the character sheet proper, I just had forgotten that it showed them outside of that area too. Its been updated there as well.

Well, I was feeling lazy ;) Does it have the stats from the Bestiary, or Max hp at first hd?

Bestiary stats. You might want to check out the Boon Companion feat from Seekers of Secrets, though, once he gets cooler.

That reminds me, though - Prettykill is perfectly welcome to start with a complete suite of trained abilities: all six tricks she can know from her Int 2, plus the bonus one. You've had her long enough.

Awesome, I was wondering if one of those could be a purpose(specifically the Hunting trick).
I looked at the combat section of the PRD and it said you CMD=10+Str mod+Dex mod+Special size modifier.

I don't have that book...can you give a short version of the feat? Thanks.
It basically gives you a boost to your effective druid level for your animal companion.
And just in general, because of the general setup of this campaign, I'd highly recommend everybody grab a copy of SoS if they can (it's not required or anything, just awesome).
Don't mean to intrude on DM grounds but your CMB Corath should be +4, CMB = BAB + Str Mod + Special Size Mod. Oh and CMD is a set number like AC so you don't need a +. Sorry, recovering rules lawyer here. :)

Thanks, I'm not thinking right today for some reason.

It's cool. I have been told I follow game rules to closely sometimes.

Thanks for the catch, CHP. Not sure how I overlooked it either. One last thing on Corath - the "hunting" purpose takes up 6 tricks, so if Prettykill is trained for hunting, she only knows how to do that plus one other thing. Also, don't forget that it takes an extra trick to train an animal to attack anything that isn't a humanoid, monstrous humanoid, or animal.

Hey look it's Shisumo that means it's adventure time soon!
(Mozzel would be excited to see him if I didn't think he was a figment of her imagination?)
Just a heads-up -- I've been sick for the past few days, but I hope to be able to catch up on the game tomorrow. *fingers crossed to feel better in the morning*

Feel better soon! We're gonna move on to dinner, but fill in wherever you need to along the way.
Shisumo(Human (Minkai) Samurai (sword saint) 7 (Order of the Warrior))
We're getting very close to the point where we need to either have Kaertya show up, or move on without her, whether that be with the party as is or by recruiting another cleric for the game. Thoughts?
Several random notes in the wake of our first combat. In no particular order:
* I would prefer that you use the Discussion Thread to sort out loot, though of course specific references in character are fine. However you guys choose to divide the loot, however, is up to you.
* I planning to allow a character rebuild between 1st and 2nd levels; if your character isn't working the way you want it to, then I would prefer you have a chance to tinker. Let me know if you want to take advantage of it.
* I'm interested in feedback from you guys on the no-map style of combat for the PbP. I don't really have a good method of map creation, but there are ways I could try to kludge something together if you guys think it's needed. This is a lot easier for me, however, so I want to know how important it seems to you.
* Speaking of combat, I'd like to remind you all of the once-per-day posting I originally asked for. It's really a big deal during fights, if less so during role-playing sequences. The pace of PbP is slow enough without leaving everyone waiting for players to catch up during what is supposed to be tense combat scene.
* On the other hand, I'd rather we didn't rush things too much. While I've got no issue with posting ahead of time to keep things moving, we did get a couple of posts that were a full turn ahead or even more. When things change (because a bad guy moves, for instance), it basically means that's wasted effort, not to mention trying to sort through everything...
* I think I'd like to go ahead and activate the first of our alternates to replace Kaertya - T&M has already mentioned wanting to play a Pathfinder witch, and I think a more dedicated healer might be a useful addition. Say hi, T&M!
Except for that healer comment(pet peeve of mine), I'm fine with everything. Plus, I have another hunting companion! Perhaps I should take a level in the Beastmaster prestige class(Complete Adventurer) so he cam be an animal companion too...
With your permission of course. If not, oh well, just another strange pet to take into town! >:)

I think for this campaign that I am more interested in what Paizo's stuff can do to create their world than using 3.5 stuff from WotC or elsewhere. That's not a hard and fast rule, however, and I'm more than willing to revisit the question once you have some levels under your belt. Regardless, for now, if you plan to bring the dog along and start training it, you're going to have to figure out how to bond with it without touching it (or start making fairly frequent Fort saves to resist the dander-allergen...).
THIS. It pops up almost ever game I play in and I just can't see why the party always need a cleric. I don't really mind, it just gets annoying after a while. I have nothing against a group that starts with a cleric, or a player that wants to play a cleric, just the guy who thinks we need a cleric to open a door. I find it funny too, though.

Hello Great(and Improved) Fortitude! Or could I just wear gloves?

In my case, it's a salve to my conscience for how much I plan to pound on you guys. >:D

The gloves will protect you from the dander, but I don't think there are any mammals that don't rely on skin-to-skin contact for social bonding. It would likely put a DC penalty (+2, I'm thinking) on your Handle Animal rolls to train it.
In response to your feedback issues Shisumo, I have no issues with any of it. I am liking Ar'dreth's build, the no map method is cool as long as we get regular updates and am excited to see a witch in action.
