A few things.
1:speed is in knots per hour. A knot is 6076 ft or 1852 meters
2:the upkeep is per month.
3:size in meters: Lengnth 19.8,keel 15.2,beam 5.1, depth 3.3

stats for all ships come from a 3pp book called broadsides.

One other thing Initiative will be a flat 10+ init mod. ties will go with highest dex score. ties after that be based on heightest int ... them wis... ya get it.

both really. it does make improved INIT...a bigger deal. But I am gonna try it like this for a bit.

one thing guys we'll see how this runs the first fight or so. If iT runs a way I dont like or most of the players dont then we'll use the other way.

Finn's Mobility feat got hit with the ol' nerf bat so it would be nice to swap it for something else.

For reasons external to the game, I'm having to seriously curtail my pbp activity. The first cut I'm making is dropping all 3E/PF games, preserving time for the 4E games I'm running and playing in, for the sake of only having to keep track of one ruleset.

This was a difficult decision, and my apologies. I'm enjoying It, but It does have a history of going inert!

Uh...I forget. One of the warforged guys, maybe. ;-)

By the way, I finished upgrading Finn to the Beta rules:

changed favored class bonus hp -> bonus skill point
Mobility -> Heroic Spirit
Dodge -> Combat Reflexes

I also changed one of his cantrips to Read Magic in case he ever needs to use a scroll.

Hey, if you guys do decide to invite a new member, I would not say no to an invite.

A few of you know me as Wu-jen over on the DMtools sight.

Be advised of the following info:

1) I have not played a Play by Post game before, but I have played D&D since I was 11, 26 years ago (wow, that makes me feel old). I have been ensconced in the role of DM for the last several years.

2) I have zero knowledge of Eberron(sp?), but I am sure I can learn, or find a character reason to back up the knowledge holes.

3) My spelling sucks, you would be hard pressed for me to convince you that English is my first language. My second language is Gobbledygook if you are curious.

4) I am based in the UK, so my timing is off with America, but I do tend to be on-line on and off from 10am to 1.30am most days (much to the chagrin of my long suffering wife).

If the above points do not put you off, let me know. If you decide to give me a miss, no worries, I won't be (too) upset as I am sure there are plenty of more experienced Eberron/pbp players out there that would jump at the chance.

I can see the points for ability scores and I can see the current party composition, but I would like to ask what you feel the group needs. I am happy to play any class to fill in the gaps or augment the party. So suggest away and I will go with the flow.

My warforged is going to multiclass in a somewhat semi-caster class, so we lack a full Fighter as well.
