Construction
Requirements Craft Wondrous Item, Magecraft Cost 875 gp
Finn is going to continue living in a Poor lifestyle.
Shopping list:
Cloak of resistance +1 (crafted by Daurros: 500 gp)
Eyes of the eagle (crafted by Daurros: 1250 gp)
Wand of mirror image (4500 gp)
I thought about upgrading his spear with a +1 enhancement instead, but I couldn't think of one that really excited me (maybe Merciful or Human Bane? or Spell Storing?).

Dax, Daurros already bought and scribed endure elements (and a number of other 1st level spells); save your 25gp and just pay the 10gp scribing cost. We can keep a-tradin', as far as I'm concerned. From what I recall of where we're headed next, trading is about the only way we'll be able to get new spells aside from leveling for a while.
La La La La, fingers in ears, no spoilers please, just in case you were going to add more. This is my first run through this campaign. Because apart from knowing it now has opportunities for me to be on a ship and some one once let slip who the big bad was to me (although I find it hard to believe that it is who they said he was as I have never seen him/her/it in 3rd or 3.5 editions) I know nothing else and have lived in a bubble to prevent me learning more.
On a different note, some one is trying to sell a copy of the Pathfinder core rules for £111.17 pounds sterling on amazon!
Does anyone know when the reprint is due to arrive at Pathfinder?
Sorry about that, but I will point out it's nothing more than what Seeker mentioned above:

really prob best to let the group keep what they can use, cheaper then buying it...and a bit of forewarning...buying stuff will get much, muh harder soon

** spoiler omitted **
Not looking for a profit; just pay the cost of crafting it. Daurros won't charge any member of the Falcons anything extra for crafting an item.

Didn't notice that, I'll change it to Shocking Grasp instead.
What we ought to do, in the future, is pool our resources for buying spells we can both use. You'll likely always have an advantage, in that Daurros will be buying higher-level ones long before you get there, but like for 1st level ones we buy from now on, we should split the cost of the scrolls.
ok we'll be selling the rest then that would bring every one to a grand total of 9'256 gp 157 sp and 180 cp each
guard however will get an extra 1250 if yall want it that way bringing him to 10'506 gp 157 sp and 180 cp e
Now keep in mind half of this wont be in your hands for 4 months at lest
Just to clarify -- we can only spend half of this money before the next adventure?
Bryan(male human 8th level quality engineer / 4th level auditor)
OK, Daurros will spend his money as follows (Seeker, this total will include my previous expenses for completeness; note I am making one change – I am NOT buying and scribing blindness/deafness, as I had originally stated in the main thread):
Oh, I see! For some reason I thought we had 3 months of down time, not 6.
seekerofshadowlight(male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller)
on finn's score , the only way ya can raise it is to
win fights +1[max 2 month]
win 10 in a row +4,
donate a trophy from a non humanoid beast+1[1/month]
recover a live critter for the arena+2
ya lose rank by losing a fight-2
failing to recover a critter or fight -1 after 3 months
heh, your current score is 3
Playing out fights is way to long on here but we can throw dice to cover fights, ya can also easily capture critters or gain trophy in the 6 months down time
Hmmm...I think all of the non-humanoid creatures we've fought so far have dissolved into a pile of goo!
By the way, I don't have the Eberron Campaign Setting with me at the moment: Is it possible to make an artificer infusion into a potion or oil? If so, Finn will buy an oil of Lesser Weapon Augmentation (human bane) and he'll write "Reserved for Vanthus" on the label. :-)
What the heck -- Finn will use his last few coins to make his +1 longspear into a +1 Merciful longspear.
Accounting:
836.5 (starting)
+ 9272.5 gp(=9'256 gp 157 sp and 180 cp)
+ 1000 gp (reward)
+ 1200 gp (salary)
- 500 gp (cloak)
- 1250 gp (eyes of the eagle)
- 4500 gp (wand of mirror image)
- 6000 gp (add enhancement to longspear)
- 18 gp (upkeep)
-----------
= 41 gp
Broke again... :-)

ya want a nonlethal long spear.....this just keep getting more amusing :)
question for you....ship captain in platemail? Ah I see thats why ya wanted the ring of swimming
.Note: the little ya save having guard magic the weapons is like 300 bucks total, better off just buying em
That is why I am going for the Glammered armour, at least this way I can pretend I am in cool piratey clothing, while not loosing a major class feature, the ring of swimming ofsets the armour check penalty, so it works well.
I agree with you, assume Guard is making them, but at full cost.
One thing you might consider is getting the Floating enhancement on your armor instead of keeping your Ring of Swimming:
Even though it leaves him at a slight disadvantage (in terms of options and relative power) I have always stated that I intend to keep Ardanto as pure core rules as possible. Two reasons, first is I only use the core rules in my own campaign and secondly it keeps it easier for me.
So the floating armour is a no no for me I am afraid.
Sorry i've been a bit out of the loop, all that treasure dividing hurts my head. I'll update Thoven soon stat and equipment wise, Seeker what can you tell me about my Affiliation score with the church?
I have traveled much in my 30 years on this world. I have journeyed from one end of Khorvaire to the other and I have spent some time on the continent of Sarlona as well. I have seen many wondrous things and have had grand adventures in my travels. My most recent adventure found me rescued from terrors spawned of Xoriat by a brave and good hearted group who call themselves the Millennium Falcons. After my rescue I joined them in rescuing their benefactor, Lavinia Vanderboren. This is how I came to be in the port city of Sassarine. I have joined the Millennium Falcons and for the last several months have assisted them in small endeavors like searching for Lavinia’s brother, Vanthus, with Ardanto and going on hunting expeditions with Finn and Kaskus. Under the tutelage of another of the Millennium Falcons, Daurros, I have taken up the Art of Magecraft. He says I’m a natural. I do begin to grow restless though, and I hope that our benefactor will soon have a task for us that calls for a journey. If not, I have decided to join the crew of the Sea Wyvern when Ardanto and Liamae next return to port.
I thought we were using the retraining rules from PHB II. I'm sorry if I've gotten my games mixed up and will change it back. I don't mind writing it. I could use the practice really. If you would prefer, I'll just keep them to myself rather than posting them.
seekerofshadowlight(male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller)
eh 6 months down time ya can retrain this once, just needed to know how ya was switching it is all
Thank you. The feat was something that somehow slipped through the final version of the character when he was introduced and this is the first opportunity to correct it (through retraining). According to the PHBII, it takes 2 weeks and 50GP to retrain a feat.

never got the shopping list franz, as soon as everyone is ready we can get this shin dig started
I love the isles of dread, I just hope it is not one of those memories, where you think it was great, but when you go back to it you are disappointed..... who am I kidding, its the friggin isle of dread! It will be awesome!
Flying Monkey men, dinosaurs, butt naked native chicks, King Kong style walls, giant pearls and sinister kopru living in the volcano! What more could a Pirate ask for, boy oh boy I wish I had made Ardanto a Ranger now!
The only worrying thing about them using an old school Adventure is the fact that the Old School campaign end villain I got told about might actually be true. In which case, I want my mommy.

You could always multi-class into ranger; it would even help out the two weapon fighting a bit :-)
I know I had a copy of the old module, but haven't been able to find it in years (decades, actually). So I really don't remember what was in it; I just remember it being really fun ...
It was one of the first or at least the first I ever knew to be little more than a series of plot hooks. The thing is, all of the hooks were AWESOME! And it was done for the Dungeons and Dragons Expert Level. That's right, not AD&D, just plain D&D in the world of Mystara outside of the 'Known World'. In one of the longest and best games I ever ran, the party explored the Isle of Dread. It was much like Ardanto said with dinosaurs, dire tigers, and kopru. After the Isle of Dread, everything else is rather meh. It is absolutely in the top 10 best modules ever. But I digress.
