Hey Rev any chance I can play with the new Spellscarred feats in Dragon :)) I think Brujo could use some some spellscarring goodness. Oh and if I ever get ahold of a copy of the PHB3 I'll see what updates to make to our hybrid friend.

I will :) Just looking through'em now! Happy to see them doing something with spellscars finally. Still feel jipped that there are no first level at-will powers!!
At the end of your little run-in with the devils, you will be leveling. Level 8 is a big one - stat bump, new feat and all that goes with it.
Davi is planning to re-jig Kelgan, but if anyone else wants to take a look at their character and make adjustments, now is the time to do so. I'm aware that you are poorly equipped as well and am about to do something about that.
OK folks. You're level 8. Get yourselves sorted out and tell me what you're upgrading, changing and so on.
If you want to do a bit of tweaking, that's fine, but please run proposed changes past me first if it's something drastic that may alter the way the party operates.
-Switching the Warlord multiclass for Wrenching Grasp(Deal Dex-modifier damage on a miss with an attack the grabs)
-Take Brawler Guard
-Switch Passing Attack with Bash and Pinion
-Replace Settling The Score with Makeshift Shield
I might switch Sweeping Blow for Slamming Rush next level, but not yet.
Dropped Venom Hand Killer for whip training, added Skill Training (Perception). Points to Dex and Cha. Updating profile after posting this.

Hey Rev, I hope to have Perigia updated soon. Unfortunately I had a computer crash and I have been running behind ever since. Also I will be away on Wen. I have a job interview.
So for the first time in well forever I have my own home. Well a motel room. But no more sleeping on floors and hoping I can sleep a friend's of familys house :)
The bad news I'll be offline a whole lot more than norm. Not dropping out let me say that, but my posting times will be... delayed.

Good news and bad news guys. Good news is that I was accepted to the University of Idaho law school. Bad news is that starting in August, my ability to post will become limited due to the time constraints my education is going to place on me. Just consider this advanced notice.
So I've learned that I will have to step away from the computer longer than I thought. While I jump on my families computer whenever I drop by, it's a 10 mile ride here. 30 if you include taking me home and traveling back. To add on to it having to follow the doctor's orders I need to lose weight. Even though he's at a loss for what I can do since strecthing, bending, walking long distances, jumping, ect are out. Anyway so he's having me look at gyms in town to enroll in.
Since being away extendedly and with this it looks like I have to walk away from alot of my favorite pbps... sob... sob. Gah this sucks, but life over gaming right? RIGHT??
So a big sorry to all of you especially you Rev. Loved gaming with all ya. If anything you can keep tabs on me on facebook :))
Laz, I'm really sorry to see you go. Do you have any requests for Brujo?
On the upside, getting medical help is the best thing that can happen to you and if you can ever come back, there's a place in any game I happen to be running at the time if you want it. Will surely stay in touch.

That makes you a party of six. I think you look pretty balanced, but if you'd like to try and recruit an extra player, we can do so. There were a couple of people interested a while back.
Lineup at present looks like this:
Ceara - Assassin (Striker)
Erik - Bard (Leader)
Hobbes - Sorcerer (Striker)
Kel - Ranger/Cleric (Striker/Leader)
Kelgan - Fighter (Defender)
Perigia - Wizard (Controller)
Depending on what Amy wants to do, your line up may change. Looks like we're back to five which is absolutely fine by me unless you passionately want to recruit any more.
Erik - Bard (Leader) - melee and ranged.
Hobbes - Sorcerer (Striker) - ranged.
Kel - Ranger/Cleric (Striker/Leader) - ranged.
Kelgan - Fighter (Defender) - melee.
The obvious gap is controller, but I'm perfectly happy to deal with whatever you want to throw at me. You're good for healing and damage output and can deal with both ranged and melee, so I'd say pick what you want unless anyone has a strong preference.
Never made a controller before, might be fun. Used to playing with defenders or hybrid defenders/strikers. I'll have a look at the good ole CB and see what I can do. When do you need me done by, Rosey?
They've got a little unfinished business to deal with. You have a couple of days :) Let's say end of the week, so I can take a look at whoever you and Amy come up with and think about semi-plausible ways to work you in.
Please feel free to be the controller :) I've made like 3 wizards, and I can't find one I'm happy with. Well, at least as a level 8 :) I've liked them all at level 1 :)
Just curious, do you all really need a controller badly? Just want to know if there may be other options, but if needed, I can give it a shot, I've wanted to try making a controller, but I'm not sure how much I'd like them.

Let me put it this way. The other game I'm in without a controller has managed to beat everything so far, but groups of minions have been giving us trouble if any are left after the dragonborn breathes on them. We're currently fighting a bunch of minions that give out save-ends effects. We could be doing better.
Anyway, an adventure not straight out of a book could be tailored to fit, but there's only so much a group without a controller can do against groups.
Personally, I'm not fussed, but as a group it is the one role you're missing and the players have expressed a desire for one.
Davi is definitely feeling the lack in Halls of the Mountain King, but this campaign has been so heavily tailored already that I'm happy to take whatever you want to bring to the table.
Basically build something you'll have fun playing, but try and complement the existing party members as far as you can in terms of class and powers. See what you and Amy come up with and we'll go from there.
Halls is at an awkward time for you, but once this section finishes, you'll be into territory which will favour you a good bit more I think. I deliberately haven't fiddled with that much so far, but I'm going to. You are very ranged light in that group anyway and this section is particularly rich in derro.
Oh I do understand the need and advantages of a controller, just was curious how much wiggle room I have to create a character. I probably will be a controller, but I always like alternatives/options.
You have wiggle room. As a group, you're not badly off for healing. Erik is very good and Kel is a good backup. The pcs were unlucky with the saving throws in this last fight, but in all their other encounters, the healing available has been just fine.
I'd veer towards controller over cleric myself, but assume I'll accommodate whatever you come up with.
One more thing. Build yourselves at level 9 please. The others will be leveling very shortly.
