Y'know Amber, looking at both our Dex, Cha and abysmal Wisdom scores, we've got the makings of a psychotic Bonnie and Clyde.
On a side note, ever seen The Musketeer, it's a terrible movie but the action sequences and fighting style remind me of you.
*Frowns slightly at Garrison Wyngarde's comment*
"Hmmm, I know how to dress to impress both the low and the high end of town. Image and intimating one's actions can be just as effective as acting upon one's notions."
"Still, since I have so few rounds for my weapon of choice, being handy with more than one method of communicating is always a good thing." ;)

Yikes!

Guys, this is my last week of classes before the exams. I apologize if I'm not able to get around to an opening post before the weekend. I was hoping to start this sooner, but alas. Hang in there. :)
Not a problem, oh great and powerful Spinner of Fate.
Besides...if you have to delay, Jason might put out the APG character class updates. Hopefully making Mutagen a discovery instead of a given class feature.
I know I certainly don't plan on using it...or at least my character doesn't. (I actually think the idea is pretty cool)
As for "Improper speech", surely that's' concerning attitudes towards King and Country? The common man's speech is hardly above the parochial anyway. :P
"We'd best be watching our tongues around the Priestess as well...wouldn't be good to upset her sensibilities, with coarse speech and all."
Talia Nerini(Female Tordoran Level 2 Cleric of Morrow and Ascended Elenna)
"While I appreciate the consideration, I believe that one's actions reveal more about what's in one's heart. I'd rather rough speech and a kind heart than a flowery veneer over cruelty."
While drastically simplified, that list of offenses reminds me forcibly of the system of laws and punishments in the old Greyhawk books (specifically for the Domain of Greyhawk itself). Anyone who thought Clerics were underpowered in 1st and 2nd edition never looked at the social benefits they received, at least in the Greyhawk setting. FR was much looser about such things.
In Greyhawk, Blasphemy against a Priest and Blasphemy against a Temple were both listed on the section under minor crimes. Punishments which included from 14 days to 2 years Imprisonment and fines of up to 1000gp (or 10-20% of the character's wealth and assets).
Anybody else want to tell a Priest on the streets of the Free City that their god is a loser? Not me!

Just letting you know I'm still here and still planning to run with this. I did fairly well in my pre-test exam, but there was one chapter that I bombed on pretty hard, so I'm reviewing that section (as I type this, in fact) and going to try the pre-test again this evening. If all goes well, I'll be ready to schedule my final exam tomorrow.

Good luck! I'll try to have some background info up for Russin by tomorrow. It has been busy for me as well.
Also, it came out in chat last night that there is a IK to Pathfinder conversion document that can be downloaded from the PP Forums. I got and so did a couple of other folks. Its not a particularly big document (73kb), so if you want it I can always email it to you.
On another note, since I've been hearing a lot about the various Craft skills recently and some of their problems, I heard this thread had some good stuff in it. Thought I'd go ahead and link it for perusal.
I haven't really looked through it completely, but I'll be doing so in the next few days.

Hey Fatespinner! How did the exams go?
There's a whole crapload of them before I get my certification. I just took the first one on Friday and got an 83% (I needed 75% or better). This upcoming week I have 4 more tests to take and I need to get a 90% or better on ALL of them before I can take the FINAL exam and get my certification. Yeah, it's brutal.

Ugh, I apologize for the continued delays, but all this studying is bleaching my brain and I really haven't had the time to compose any kind of campaign opener yet. I'll keep it on the radar here, though, and may spontaneously begin any day now...

Not a problem Fatespinner, I think we all realize how much pressure these exams are putting on you. Heck, you've hardly been in the Chatroom at all since the middle of last week...I thought that was rather indicative.
Sorry for seeming such a dunce, but a link to the relevant pages perhaps?
I have searched but nothing is reaching out and grabbing me as a "The finished Witch! Alchemist! Aardvark! Here!" kind of thing. V_V
I can find lots of the discussions and such, just not sure about the finished supplements. *sigh*
*Wanders back into threads to search anew, hand resting easily upon hip and holster*
^_~ Still looking forwards to PbPing with you Master Fate.
***EDIT: I do believe I have found said document, brushes dust from said tome of lore, and shall peruse a printed copy further when scheduling allows me the leisure. Thanks in advance for any other offers of help. ^_^***
I don't know if it matters, but I'll be unable to post Friday-Sunday. My wife and I are going away for the weekend to celebrate our birthday (the 9th).
Just another bump and perhaps a roll call? Is any one still watching and waiting for this game? Does any one know of the fate of our illustrious DM?[
Personally still very interested in playing: +1 Vote

I'm still here. School is... not going as planned. I only just (finally) completed the first exam successfully and will be launching a 2-week-long crusade to complete part 2. I apologize profusely for getting everyone's hopes up but I seriously did not expect the testing to be nearly this arduous.
