You mean if Garroth doesn't throw Synatria overboard? ;-)

A less combat heavy mission would suit me fine. Joy is more of the sneaky type so combat isn't her best area anyways.

I got 4 hp left and just barely got through a nervous breakdown, you could sneeze me overboard.

Actually I thought Synatria was at like 16 hps. She's got more hp than Joy right now.

As long as Garroth gets the occasional chance to break some heads, I'm up for any kind of mission.
seekerofshadowlight(male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller)
Ok just wanted to throw some feelers out , I will get this updated today.
Also KC your at 16 hp or so, 4 are from a mistake but i'll let it stand , and channel boosted you back up alot
Bryan(male human 8th level quality engineer / 4th level auditor)
KC, can Synatria do anything to try and bring Triage back from the lands of unconsciousness? Might be a good thing to get our cleric back up and channeling ...
seekerofshadowlight(male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller)
If anyone is confused about whats going on ask away. The fight does not go well but is not unwindable yet

Nah, she used up her one healing spell on herself. And unfortunately, her excellent Heal skill is useless.
Also, what's this about having 16 hp? I thought I lost exactly 22 hp, and then cast CLW for 4 hp left.

Triage did a healing burst. Synatria was in the area of effect. Also, Triage has repair potions on him. Joy is too busy fending off zombies to get them out and give one to him. So if Synatria could possibly manage that, we could get Triage conscious again, which would be good.

Well the fault is mine, I npced you using the healing spell, then you used it a few rounds later, I did not catch it, s as it was my fault I let it stand, was just like 3 or 4 hp anyhow. And the channels did heal you a bit. So yes you are at 18 hp., correct hp should be in the keeper profile, the AP are off as I lost that file and have not retracked them yet

Seeker:
Spoiler:
This is what I'd like to have Garroth try to do: first, grab the fly token from the undead and pull it off. Then, bull rush it off of the ship. The bull rush part is simple enough, but what would you call the first action (and how much time would it take)? Is it a grapple? Disarm? Something else entirely? Or, another question: do I know if the token's effects would have worn off yet? The last guy I kicked off never came back, right? Obviously, if I think the effects have expired, I should be able to just toss them off the boat and let 'em go splat ...
A word of warning: I won't be able to post either tomorrow or Saturday.
seekerofshadowlight(male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller)
Bryan
Spoiler:
I'll let ya make 2 CMB checks there, as you dont have slight of hand. The other guy was also dieing so maybe it wore off and maybe he hit the group before he could use it
Bryan(male human 8th level quality engineer / 4th level auditor)
sounds good ... crosses fingers as he accesses IC
EDIT: trashes computer as IC screws him over yet again
Bryan(male human 8th level quality engineer / 4th level auditor)
Just a heads up; I'm heading to FL Friday to drive my family back to Michigan. Posting will be pretty sparse from Friday through Monday. Will try to check in once or twice, but if things get too bogged down on my end, feel free to DMPC me.
seekerofshadowlight(male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller)
hey doc hop your still around, sorry ya got KO most of that fight...I hint he has repair damage potions on him...standard issue to warforge
seekerofshadowlight(male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller)
Sorry have been dragging of late guys
Bryan(male human 8th level quality engineer / 4th level auditor)
OK, Garroth is updated to 4th level. Seeker, please note that I added a point to my Dexterity, giving me a higher intitiative modifier and AC than previously.
seekerofshadowlight(male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller)
that works sorry for dragging this one guys. Will get it moving again soon
seekerofshadowlight(male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller)
Ok guys seems the official SRD goes live tomorrow, So what we will do is I'll allow everyone to rebuild with the new rules. Change stuff If you want to. After that I will get it moving
Bryan(male human 8th level quality engineer / 4th level auditor)
Seeker, Garroth's training was by a monastic order independant of the Cyran government, so it really could have any monk weapons. If I can put in a request, I've always liked the knife-fighting stuff. Could I swap proficiency/special monk weapon status of the kama and siangham with the kukri and dagger? Higher threat ranges, but lower damage die ...
seekerofshadowlight(male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller)
I would allow that. There is this great dragon(Can not recall the issue) with different monk weapons from the RW. Was an eye opening read and I stole the ideal after that.
I can make ya a list and change out the weapons. Monk weapons came about due to not being allowed real weapons. They are all farming tools. So in a place with out that restriction I can not see them having to use them
Bryan(male human 8th level quality engineer / 4th level auditor)
Cool, thanks. I'll swap out my short sword for a kukri, and carry a couple of daggers, then. I can envision a scene not unlike the vault scene in "Diehard with a Vengeance" (except Garroth isn't a blonde German woman, of course ...)
seekerofshadowlight(male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller)
ok well ya see humans did not come from khorvaire but sarona a place which now the culture that spawns those humans are well and gone. So with them came many ideals and culture backgrounds.
So lest say you monks where like the Ghurka
so he loose normal monk weapons but gains
Short sword, dagger,kuri,and short bow
ya can Fob with the Short sword, dagger and the kuri

Why not, I'm still game. Maybe another infusion of new blood will get this game moving again.
lynora(Female awww, but that would be telling Grammarian3/Artist1/Keeper of Useless Knowledge10)
I'm still in.
seekerofshadowlight(male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller)
Ok thats 4 active folks . We can go on with just the for or we can hunt up a few new folks. However yall would like to proceed
Bryan(male human 8th level quality engineer / 4th level auditor)
Counted me in, I hope? I'm always for "the more, the merrier". And if I've learned anything in this PbP, it's that a divine caster is **really** nice to have with the group...
I don't know, more players could be nice, but it's hard to be sure.
seekerofshadowlight(male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller)
The issues we will have is, if we carry on from the last point new players are unlikely to be black caps. Thats not a game breaker or anything, but it is something to think about
Oh yeah uh Hi look forward to playing with all of you
The same! Welcome, and here's hoping we can keep this PbP alive long enough so that I can get to my dramatic betrayal or whatever! ;)
Yes, and after your dramatic betrayal you'll be dead before your charred remains hit the ground. Just some food for thought. :P
Anyway, welcome to our new player! We still only have half a healer, but that's good enough for now.
I am fully aware of that. But don't forget the power of a mid-level druid: Once I can wild shape, I'll be a real threat.
seekerofshadowlight(male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller)
There is that. I am waiting for the others to weigh in on a new player and Kevin to get ready. We should be ready to go by weeks end
I will join use back in with the last mission already in progress :0
lynora(Female awww, but that would be telling Grammarian3/Artist1/Keeper of Useless Knowledge10)
A healer would be good but not necessarily necessary. If we're focusing more on sabotage and hit-and-run we're less likely to get into too much trouble healing-wise. Not that it's ever bad to have a healer...
