Just curious -- how many levels of the dungeon has Monte detailed so far? Is there a projected completion date where he'll say: "O.K., I'm done now"?

The sixth level of the dungeon is currently in progress. I'm not really sure how far Monte wants to take this thing, and I haven't heard of any set ending date. I don't expect it to end any time soon, though. (And indeed, I hope it doesn't, because I really look forward to reading a new room every day!)

FYI -- in PFRPG dwarves don't get any Perception bonus (although they used to in the Beta version).

That entirely depends on how quickly you guys can complete your character sheets. :)

I'm ready to roll as soon as all six character sheets are approved.

EDIT: With the American Thanksgiving holiday this week, that may slow things up. I'll be pleased if I can start the IC thread by next Monday at the latest, though.

2. What is his favored class?

3. What's his favored class? If it's ranger, he can take the extra hit point or skill rank.

This is Tarlane's character, I think other then the description he is pretty set about now.

My favored class is wizard and I put my bonus in a skill rather then hit points.

Change in player roster, guys. Szombulis had to bow out, so the sixth player will now be Celestial Half-Porc. He's thinking about a paladin as of now.

Hey guys, I hoped to go over a couple more character sheets yesterday, but I was just too busy at work (lots to do with a short week). So, I might have some time today, but I have to pack and leave for some holiday traveling. So, long story short, I may be quiet until next week. Hopefully, this will give Celestial and Jester time to finish up their guys, and we'll get rolling in earnest early next week.

I'll still be popping on sporadically this week and weekend, so if you have any questions or anything, fire away.

Hi all, I'm getting back in the swing of things after the long weekend. I'm going to do my best to get some more sheets looked at today! Thanks for the bump.

Sounds good to me! I made a small change to my sheet over the week just to fit in better with the background, I took the trait Child of the Streets instead of Hedge Magician and swapped my rank in knowledge religion for a rank in slight of hand.

Background is up and posted. Now that I have a good idea of his background I'm just trying to flesh out a good description for him. Its been slow going with the holiday and my boss using that as an excuse to take off extra days so I get to cover both our jobs, but I should have one up within a couple hours. Everything but the description should be up though.

Would you have a problem with me dropping Greater Spell focus and taking the extra traits feat? I was thinking to pick up reactionary and fast talker since I'd like to add bluff as a class skill and I know I couldn't take two traits from the same category without the feat.

Sounds good, he's been updated with that in mind. Dropped greater spell focus for the extra traits feat. Took reactionary and fast talker, and dropped knowledge nature so I could put a rank in bluff.

I figured I'd point out exactly what I did in case you had already looked over the character, so you could see what changed easily.

hogarth, I just had a look over Wolf-Sark. He looks really good overall. I did want to point out that I think his flat-footed AC should be 16. Or does he not retain his shield bonus? I've always thought so.

With the caveat that I am still learning about these new classes, of course, I'd say he looks good to go.

Tarlane, I looked over Fredrik. My only comment is that I don't see his two opposed wizard school on the sheet. Maybe I'm overlooking them. Everything else looks great!

Otherwise, everybody's ready to go, aside from the minor fixes mentioned above. I'd like to get this game rolling the next day or two, if that's possible.

So, I need to take a poll. Do you guys want to start in the town of Brindenford, and do some role-playing to get to know one another in character? Or would you rather hand-wave that stuff and get right to the action, starting on the doorstep of the dungeon? I have no preference, and can go with either option. It's up to all of you. Please respond with your opinion.

That comes from Poverty-Stricken trait, which grants a +1 to survival checks

I'd enjoy some of the RP time as well, just so we can get to know each others characters and what their style is.
