Certainly Rad. I'll switch them and re-post the sheet. From what I can gather, you already took the Scrutiny advance. I left Tracking for now, let me know if you prefer to change it to something else.

Is anyone else having problems downloading the sheets?
For easy linkage, here is the page with Rico's sheet.

(Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot)

I can download mine just fine.

I take game notes anyway, but seeing a timeline would be cool with me.

By the way...Did we ever decide to add a fifth person to our group?

I have had no trouble downloading my sheets and printing them. I do think a synopsis and timeline would help. Just like when I asked about the dossiers it is hard to keep track of something that happened 300 posts ago. For example, I know you told me the code for contacting Ahmazzi through the astropaths, but I do not remember it.

Cheliax (Male Human Warhammer 40K GM)

OK, I will begin working on a timeline for the wiki to summarize the timing of events thus far. With almost 1,000 posts it will probably take a little bit of time to incorporate all of the salient details, but I will try my best to have it up before the end of the week.

As far as a fifth person, unless you guys know of someone dying to get in, I am going to hold off for a little bit longer given that we are also juggling three NPCs in the group. I think Albrek, Ishmael, and Ivaanov have pretty much cemented their NPC status, too, given my intentions for their long-term roles in the rest of the campaign, so a new player would mean introducing a new character at this point.

(Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot)

Fine by me. Was just wondering since we all talked about it before. Can't wait to see the timeline. Would be interesting to see how it all lines out.

I found the codes back on page 3.

OK, back in action after a bout with the flu.

My sympathies, that is a lousy thing to recover from. I hope you feel better. If we did not hear from you soon, I was going to post to ask if you were all right.

(Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot)

Glad to hear your better Rook.

Hey Rookseye, I sent the E-mail as we discussed. I hope you like the style. I figure that, in general, like the old telegraphs, you would use a minimum of words, with a maximum of message.

Thanks Lorm. I would have to agree, given the complicated nature of astropathic transmissions, simple and to the point is probably the best method.

Rookseye, Balfic and I are again able to post. Thanx for your patience.

Cheliax (Male Human Warhammer 40K GM)

No problem Lorm. I think Paizo's site itself was the culprit, I was unable to post as well.

(Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot)

Well Rook this scene feels like a mix between Road House, and The Warriors. I just hope Sav is cool enough to survive the closing credits.

Heh. You just wait...this encounter will be bringing a couple more movies into the mix before it is over...

(Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot)

Lol. I am almost afraid to ask which ones.

I do have to say that Iacton and Sav are making a good team so far though.

Sorry about posting so late. I was working and then afterwards played a game of warhammer. It was my skaven against a friend's high elf army, 2000 pts. a side. It was a narrow victory for the skaven. They left the battlefield with dragon meat. The Gray Seer (the General) and his advisor, a Warlock Engineer, led from behind, beautifully showing their verminous valour.

Reminds me of the option in warhammer rpg... that of playing skaven.

Rook, have you read Ravenor Rogue?

Cheliax (Male Human Warhammer 40K GM)

It's funny you mention that, I am reading the Ravenor Omnibus right now. Just started book #2. I have to say I like Abnett's style a lot. I'm not normally one to read RPG fiction either, but he really knows how to spin a good tale.

I picked it up shortly after finishing the Eisenhorn trilogy.

(Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot)

What Lorm isn't telling you is that the game ended at the end of turn 3. The High Elf player had to get up early Monday morning. So there was still alot of game left. The High Elf player was finally getting into hand to hand combat against a mostly Clan Skyrre Army. Granted the Jezziel Teams did gun down a Sun Dragon while standing and shooting against it. But the High Elf player still had alot of power left with 4 lvl 2 mage. A fairly fresh unit of Dragon Princes led by a Noble, and tons of longbowmen, and a Repeater Bolt Thrower. Though I didn't expect the Phoenix Guard, or the Shadow Warriors would last much past turn 4. So it was still anybodys game.

True, but I like how I put it. Like you said, the shadow warriors and the Phoenix guard likely would not of survived the next round. The dragon princes, if I was lucky, would have gone down on turn 5 between the Globadiers who probably would have died that round and the stormvermin and the grey seer.

For Rook

Spoiler:
Abnett says that 8 is the pattern that should be looked at in discerning chaos pattern murders, look at the first chapter of ravenor rogue, beware, though, as it may spoil your reading of the series.

Have you discovered which character is the daemon vessel?

Cheliax (Male Human Warhammer 40K GM)

Radavel:
Without skipping ahead, and halfway through book 2, I'll wager a guess. I don't think it is Zael...too obvious...he seems the classic red herring. My money is on Thonius for some reason...mostly his addiction.

For Rook

Spoiler:

i am not gonna tell which :-)

Continuing the discussion from the Dark Heresy thread about this game and our OOC thoughts about the plot...

Spoiler:
Personally, I say the Eviserator is the Prisoner's doing. We already know he can take over a person's mind and make them try to take an axe to the gellar field generator, and if I'm getting the timing right, he arrived at the same time the murders started the first time. How it's the same guy you shot in the head, I've got no idea. The power of the Warp, or something.

I also think the Prisoner is involved, but I think he is in the center of everything that is going on.

(Male Humanoid Lurker 1/ Nerd 1)

You know one of the more entertaining facts they said in the preview? You can get an Eversor Assassin with your influence.

Lorm Dragonheart wrote:

Agreed. The Prisoner is the most likely cause of all of our Warp/mind control-based problems.

(Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot)

Guess I will add to the discussion of who's involved as well.

Personally I think Krade was dabbling where he shouldn't. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that Krade is the Prisnor. That he was looking at his own ID in the mirror, and it consumed him. That even the seriel killer could be a manifestation of his own mind taking physical form. The mirror we do know is an artifact. It could have given the power necessary to Krades mind to give his secret desires form. Thats why he wasn't surprised when he saw himself in the mirror. I could go on, but I think that enough of a Sci Fi carrot for everyone to chew on for awhile and theorize about. Course I could just be blowing smoke.

A good question for us to ask is: How soon after Krade obtained the mirror did the first killing start?

See you guys in game.

Cheliax (Male Human Warhammer 40K GM)

I'm enjoying the conjecture. It helps me better understand how you are interpreting the campaign so far.

Also, an update. I have been working on the campaign timeline and should have it completed very soon. This will probably help everyone correlate the sequence of events so far.

Rookseye, how much do I know about Gunmetal City? How much of an offence is it to try and confiscate a gun from an someone from there?

You know enough about both Ishmael and Gunmetal City to know that the only way that someone will pry his great-great-great grandfather's revolver from his hand is when he is cold and dead...

...and even then...

Does his ID say he is from Gunmetal City?

Rookseye wrote:

Lol I would expect nothing less from Ishmael. The clerk should be happy that he already used the grenade.

For Rook

Spoiler:
Johnnie's insight into the murders may simply be his recognition that the number "8" is significant in the worship of the Ruinous Powers.

The number that is significant depends on the power. For example, 8 is for Khorne, 6 is for Slaanesh and 9 is for Tzeentch

My understanding is that "8" stands for all of them, i.e. the 8-rayed star symbol that they use.

(Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot)

Each Chaos God has a sacred number according to the fluff. Like Lorm said; Slaanesh 6, Nurgle 7, Khorne 8, and Tzeentch 9. Malal being 3 if you want to go old school. The Chaos Star use to represent the 4 Greater, and the 4 Lesser powers of Chaos back in First Ed. Its just the symbol of Chaos Undivided. Hence four Greater Arrows bisecting 4 Smaller Arrows. The other 3 from the original 8 being, Hashut, The Great Horned Rat, and the Star Child. Currently there are like 22 Chaos Gods represented in the fluff. There has never been a sacred number to represent chaos undivided. Thats going back to the Slaves to Darkness and Lost and the Damned books.

Can you tell I have played Chaos Armies for over 20 years?

trafficking in proscribed lore... alright everyone roll malignancy...
