Just wanted to extend an invitation to the folks in here:

I'm going to be running GameMastery Module D3: The Demon Within via TTopRPG on Halloween during the day (1pm - 7:30pm EST or so). We currently need 2 more players, including a very competent cleric player (this module is not kind). The 3 other PCs that have been created are a paladin, a fighter/barbarian, and one still undecided. Let me know!

I'd love to dude; however, I'm on call and ergo couldn't realistically commit to it.

Mothman: A question... what ability or bonus does Elisile have on identifying magical items? Is that an elf thing or something? I noticed that Elisile has the same Spellcraft bonus for identifying items as Vethran even though Veth has a 22 INT compared to Eli's 19. Where's that +2 coming from? Just curious, in case it's something I should have as well and didn't record it.

Ah, yes. That's right. I just remembered the +2 for overcoming SR and didn't recall the +2 for identifying items. Looking it up again, yes, you are correct. Okay then. :)

Yup, its an elf thing. Of course, that's not to say I've actually worked out the numbers correctly...

Just checked, I seem to have done it right. I noticed that I didn't actually note the +2 to spellcraft item identifying under 'elf traits' on my character sheet, but I think its part of 'elven magic'.

By the way, guys, sorry I haven't been posting at my usual rate. Since work is becoming a bit less accommodating about me pursuing outside interests (like surfing the net) I'm restricting posting to a minimum there and waiting until I get home (and I'm normally more tired then). I'm afraid that it is likely to stay that way.

I’m on holidays for a week from tomorrow through to next Saturday. I’m not sure what, if any internet access I’ll have over that time. If a lack of posting from me starts holding up the game, feel free to NPC Elisile.
