OK!! I'm back! Let the slaughter begin!

::cheers::

Now the question is just who is getting slaughtered.

[insert evil laugh here]

(Female Elven Rogue 2)

Well, now that I'm back to being able to post from work, this should go much smoother. :)

(Female Elven Rogue 2)

About this Saturday...

I just got sick. I had a sore throat yesterday, and I went through half a bag of halls while on shift last night. If I'm still sick Saturday Mornin' our scheduled session is delayed due to "CURSE- Got the GM sick, Lose a Level"

We're all sick Pansyman!!! Suck it up!!! lol

Well first my computer goes on the fritz and then I get Strep Throat. I just got no kinda luck this month.

On the upside in the process of figuring out what was wrong with my computer (a cap on the video card blew) I ended up replacing the Power Supply, Motherboard, CPU, and finally the Video Card. And while I was at it I figured I might as well upgrade to Windows 7 as well. So I basically have a brand new computer.

Atapax wrote:

Yay!!!

Btw, on my last post, I thought it said "small silver of light." Silver light sounded weird, but James showed me that it said sliver. Sooooo, it doesn't make sense. Just rethink it as she's been a little suspicious this whole time because she just met everyone and they're already having to trust each other with their lives. She becomes even more uneasy getting to the building (poof! a beast comes out of the building! a trap!!! Haha), but it's most likely better to go in there than stay outside. :)

I just figured it was a typo and it still made sense to me. After all it is a strange building. No reason not to be careful.

But it IS funny that you thought it said Silver. He He He He He He. :)

(Female Elven Rogue 2)

wait ... it didn't say silver?

This is information about the people you met that could be obtained with a few easy questions and observations. As you discover more people, and more about them, I will update this post, so please bookmark it.

Amaya (female Tian human): Amaya is a well-mannered glassblower and an incredibly beautiful woman who’s somewhat self-conscious about the effect her appearance has on others—she dresses plainly as a result.

Ermolos (male Chelish human): Ermolos is incredibly muscular, a physique the result of a long apprenticeship as a blacksmith. He walks with a slight limp—a lingering effect of a childhood illness.

Fiosa (female halfling): Fiosa is a house servant who is friends with many halfling slaves; she takes advantage of her freedom to help her kin as best she can. Her newfound faith in Iomedae is quite strong.

Vitti (male Chelish human): Vitti is a strange, eccentric man who dyes his hair green and refuses to eat any food he doesn’t grow or catch himself. A talented woodcarver whose works earn him a modest income, he prides himself on the fact that he only carves wood that’s been harvested from deadfalls and other trees that died of natural causes.

Yakopulio (female gnome): Of all the rebels, noisy and irreverent Yakopulio is the least religious—she wears her atheism proudly, and her eagerness to contradict often sparks arguments among the others in the group. She works as a bartender at a tavern called the Bruised Eel.

I know I haven been posting much, and I am sorry. btw, when I have these <> around speech, it is in orcish. so yas know.

So you posted about how you haven't been posting... but you didn't post? That's just odd.

(Female Tiefling Fighter/2)

Sometimes you can be so critical. >.<

That's only because I don't think... I KNOW. :)

Okay, so I know Alan, Mandy and Brycen know, but I will be replacing Kalvek with a tiefling rogue. I just want you guys to know I am not trying to step on anyone's toes, I just don't think I would have much fun with Kalvek. Besides, we have no ranged support whatsoever. Zanian will be focusing on a bow rather than melee combat, so y'all can have at it. That is not to say that he doesnt have a sword, but his bow is his primary weapon.

(Female Tiefling Fighter/2)

O.o I was wondering. Good to know.

Just a few things on your character. His Acrobatics skill is incorectly added, I think it should be a bit higher than 2. Also, you have totals written for skills that are trained only but you don't have ranks in. I assume they're just there as placeholders. And lastly, I need to know what heritage you picked from the list so I can verify your stats.

Hey! We made it to page five on our PbP!! That's something of a milestone.

I picked the Devil spawn

Brycen, you worry me...

What worries me is that's the best pick-up line he could come up with. :)

Hmmmm I just realised that Savidus' character sheet isn't finished. Eh, it'll be a bit before we're in combat again anyhow.

So I drew Zanian the other day, and I posted it here: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID =20894018&albumID=969000&imageID=72137384
Enjoy!

(Female Tiefling Fighter/2)

I didn't think it was that bad of a line.. a little romancin' would add to the campaign. ;) Everyone loves drama.

><I get an error trying to see the picture.

Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of her trying. I Just found the attempt amusing. Maybe because in my visual I added a "Hey there big boy..."

I also just thought it was wierd for her to be hitting on someone she barely knows considering her background. I figured she'd be more 'men are pigs'.

Holy crap, I was thinking the EXACT same thing, just worded a lot better! That's hilarious.

Yours was worded better or mine was?

Atapax wrote:

Yours. lol

(Female Elven Rogue 2)

Yes, she hated being a slave and wanted out of it. However, she is a follower of Calistra, Goddes of Lust and Revenge. Just because she hated someone else controlling her life doesn't mean that she hates having hot baby-makin' love.

Also, up till now, it's always been the guys choosing her. So she's kinda new on the whole "Pick-up" Lines. Trust me, she HAS a personality and I am sticking to it. Besides, since a PbP gives more room for RP, why the hell shouldn't I try, and trust me. It's not going to be the last...

Think Miroku...

Miroku huh...eww...
lol

Hey, like I said, I welcome the RP, it just struck me as odd.

And I have no idea who or what Miroku is so you lost me there.

I would point out, though, that most followers of any deity usually focus on a certain aspect of the deity, despite the fact that they have several. I can kind of see where you're coming from, but I still think that if you asked any woman, they'd tell you that they would be hard pressed to be hitting on any man after being so physically and emotionally scarred. Or perhaps I’m reading more into her background than you intended, but it reads as though she was basically forced to do /whatever/ her owners wanted.

But hey... Your character. And trust me, while Savidus might not appreciate the overt advances, it does make for some amusing RP. Next she'll be hitting on the Tiefling. :)

The only question is...which one?

(Female Tiefling Fighter/2)

O.O "..hot baby-makin' love." I'm thinking Zanian.. ain't no babies here. ;P

Helwyr Keyt wrote:

Lmao!

Also, Miroku is a sexually perverted character in an anime show. That's all you need to know for that reference. :)

(Male Human Alchemist 1)

So I got my char for Kingmaker all made up, everything but a firm Background and a campaign trait. Check him out and let me know what you think.

Looks good to me!

Zanian wrote:

Thanks. I used the highest Pathfinder point buy for his stats. If I need to pare it down just let me know. Obviously his background is going to be influenced heavily by the player's guide when it comes out. Right now it's pretty fuzzy, along with his alignment. I know that he's insane, and obsessed with making stuff (He'll be able to make wondrous items eventually) but I'm not sure what his adventuring motivations will be yet.

For anyone else thinking of character ideas, it sounds like a ranger would be a great choice for this campaign, especially since we're carving a kingdom out of the wilds.

On another note, I mentioned they had posted a desc for the first book in the AP after Kingmaker... It's jungles and hidden cities and pirates. The Red Mantis even make another appearance. :) Sounds like a lot of fun.

FYI

I have a lot of info to convey with this planning session, but I don't want to lay it all out without pause. Basicly, feel free to ask questions or comment on what she's saying between posts, but I am trying to move it along. Though Janiven has an idea, ultimatly (as it should be) the plan is yours to create.

I have a friend interested in playing Kingmaker with us.

(Female Elven Rogue 2)

I'll try and come up with a couple character sheets for Kingmaker. Are we doing it online, here on Paizo?

yes we are. I am gonna make the message board tonight as a matter of fact!

The Kingmaker OOC thread is called Savaru's Kingmaker OOC discussion, so yas know!

Is Nesswen really not listening that closely? Or are you just missing the parts in my posts that talk about what she's asking? Or am I just not being clear in my posts?

I'm just wondering because first she asks who Arael is and why he's important right after Janiven says why he's important, and now she's asking if she can kill hellknights when Janiven just said how she would like to keep as many alive as possible.

If I'm not being clear, please let me know so I can adjust and avoid misunderstandings.

So I had an idea just now, Savaru (Zanian's grandfather) is pretty old now, and it is about time to pass on the mantle of Blackjack to someone else, perhaps a roguish grandson...

The first one is by mistake. If you notice, You mention how important he is, and my answer is mere minutes after it. What happened was I was typing up the post as you posted the first one. So I didn't see your post until after mine had been posted. So, to me.. my post was supposed to go in front of the one you made.

The second one was unclarity. To me, you said don't kill the Hellknights. and that this group thats carting Arael to his death, is 1 low ranking Hellknight in charge of a group of mercs. So I presumed that killing the mercs was fine, but the hellknight not fine. So, I asked. If you don't want anyone dead, then say NO DEAD BODIES. Not, 'Don't kill the Hellknights'. Cause I'll gladly take down mercs.

Bow-chika-wow-wow~

I'd point out that I said he was being escorted by 10 Armigers and 1 low ranking Hellknight. I guess I should have been more clear that an Armiger is a Hellknight in training. I can see where you might distinguish these separately but Janiven doesn't.

Thanks for clearing those up. I'll try to be more clear in the future. It's difficult, though, to get this much info down without it sounding like a lecture.

True, but Blackjack is a strictly Korvosan thing and I would hope he'd want to keep that tradition intact. I can see him passing it off after his grandson's return...
