Mike: Kruelaid has suggested that I take over the game until you can post regularly again. Is this OK? (I have not yet made up my mind myself, I just want to get your opinion.)

Mike's been having trouble getting online because his job has cut off his internet access or something. He's got a kindle in the hopes that it would remedy the situation but it wasn't working. So Mike's around, just not online very often.
It took long enough, but my new Kindle is finally in the mail. I anticipate I’ll have it in a week, probably another week to learn to use it, and maybe another week to catch up on the game, but if you are all still around and interested, I haven’t forgotten. Sorry for the long “delay of game!”

I just want to get the go-ahead from Mike. It's his game, after all.
Where is he, anyway? Has he been on the messageboards?
I can message him on Facebook.
I doubt he'll mind at all Shiny, I think he's just been through so much life changing crap, and the personality changes after the surgery, that he just can't do this.
A couple of years back, he had a malignant tumor on his thyroid, and had to have it removed. He's fine, but apparently has been having worse migraines than before, as well as some personality changes.
Yes, my wife had to have her thyroid removed too. (We were lucky that we had a GOOD dr who caught it before it became a tumor!) But she had personality,... issues,... before her meds were straightened out. All better NOW thank the Lord!
<Makes Sign of the Cross> Here's to MIke getting better, SOON!

EEK!; not much to be done then for that; migraine are an ex wife; no help for it.
Shiny, I got a message back from Mike and you have his blessing 100% on running the game, in fact I took it that it would boost him to see the stuff he's put in live again.

Haha.
Memory fail.
I even remember your wife's thyroid from your back and forth with Beeler.

Alright, then. You're sure you don't want to give it a go? (Yes, I know you're already running at least two other PbPs, but you're also a much better DM than I am.)

I have just the two and wouldn't think of it yet cuz of work. And as Heathansson has wisely observed, it's hard to f$!~ up a pbp cuz you have time to think stuff over.
With this one, if you want to give it a go, the trickiest thing will be to take stock of what's happened (like which sentient swords we have) and either reset (get rid of them) or think of a new game plan.
Looks like you have some experienced players. That'll help.

Alright, I'll give it a go. I just need a few days to go over what has happened and what's going on currently, and then a few more to figure out what happens next. I'll do my best.

Heheh, EPIC memory fail, actually.
And unfortunately, not all that uncommon! ;P
(Where'd I put that bottle of Ginko Balboa?!? IF I could remember where I put it, I wouldn't NEED it!) ;D
THE THREAD LIVES AGAIN!!!
Go for it Mr. Shiny! I know a certain obnoxious personality trait just waiting to be given free reign to roam once more! I'll see you when your ready!
Hey, Facebook people: could you poke Mike and ask him where he was going with the whole "necromantic tornado" thing? I'm trying to figure out how to segue from "his" game into "my" game.
