Graz and Boe(male Bugbear 1st level Ranger(archer))
Just a few questions about PBP play.
I've never done a PBP game before anything special I need to know before we start, like is there a set time we play or do we just check back every so often and post our actions.
I understand we are on the honor system for die rolls and hit points. Are there any actions that the Dm would roll for us?
Can we call shenanigans on other players or do we speak to the DM privately if we have a complaint. Not saying there will be any problems, just want to know up front on how to do so if needed.
Other than the questions I just need to fill in my back story, and I’m ready.
I usually just use invisiblecastle dot com for my dice rolling. you can keep a login so it links to your character name so everyone can check out each others rolls and you can just post them into your action posts. most pbp's ive played are just like you check in when you can with a certain expected number of posts a day from players

-Post whenever you can
-Yeah, just use invisiblecastle.com
-use a spoiler OOC to ask questions about other players, but keep it nice, they can read, also.
Once again, I say we make them take us to the village. If nothing else, we'll get closer than if we just walked up.

Graz want’s to kill the guards but will restrain if some of the party tell him he should wait. As for the loot in the carts, Grazz is illiterate so he will trust the others to give him his rightful due. Graz will take as much of the weapons and armor the other party members will let him take.
Galvan thinks we failed in the purpose of our raid so it doesn't matter to him. He doesn't figure the halflings went "wee wee wee" all the way back where they came from. He's sure they've gone to the village and will warn them.
As far as the guards go, he actually sympathizes with them. They hired on to do a job. However, Galvan's a merc too and dying, like it or not, is part of the job.
He'd prefer giving them a clean death instead of torture. Wounding helpless things doesn't entertain him.

Graz on the other hand would like nothing more than to inflict as much pain and suffering on the humans as he feels they (as a race) inflicted on him. But as Elaugolg pointed out there are more important things to do first, like take out the town.
Grasvein, like Galvan, takes no pleasure from torture, and in fact dislikes doing it needlessly. That's not to say he won't do it if he has to.

I say we either force the guards to take us into town or we kill them prop them up on the cart bench and drive ourselves into town from the back of the cart. Whatever we do we need to do to quickly so we can beat the halflings back to town.
