Just getting dotted up. Rin is in the process of recreation. I re-read his old thread and he spent a vast amount of time failing Athletics checks and nearly frying Ghetto's pc. Whatever else he has, he's taking a climbing kit.

He's the same bloke. Just slightly better equipped and probably with different powers, since Arcane Power came out since I built him.

Bard sounds good to me, but if you go Warden, which Ithink no one else is gonna be a defender, then that
would probably work out best. Ultimately your call.

NP Chozyn, it happens. If it helps I have a 4e layout for my characters in PBP games, if you want use them as templates. Hope it was a good "hell of a weekend", I had a good one too :)
@Rosey: Thanks for biting the bullet with the defender choice, it will definitely help the party.
Rin. Now pretty much an illusion specialist. Still extremely likely to fall off things, but he's got some kit that may help a bit. He's complete in iPlay4e, less so in the profile, but I'm working on that - admittedly rather slowly.
Np, Rosey. Having your character complete in the profile is mostly in case I need to run them for a turn or two, since I can't access iPlay4e at work...well not completely at least.

Also, still working on my character, but I'm going to be at least one step closer to getting a DDI subscription tonight and I'll probably be done by tomorrow.
Good deal, Davi, you still have time since I wanted to start by Wednesday, plus with DDI you can make a character super quick. Other then that I just need to see Chozyn's and Bmars3 characters and then we're all set.
Davi is right. The low Strength doesn't help, but really it's more that
historically he had a horrible record with Athletics checks as well. His first adventure nearly ended when he failed a lot of checks bouncing down a cliff-face on the end of a rope.

I have had some similar luck with athletics as well.In my first 4e game I played (surprise surprise) a paladin.
In the final encounter with Kalariel, our dragonborn fighter
managed to fall down into the pit before we had finished the
previous encounter, so we had to stage a rescue mission to get
him. I tried to climb down the blood soaked chains to get to our
friend, but failed miserably, sending my noble paladin heroically
into the pit of blood at the bottom. It actually worked out though,
surpisingly enough.

I was just called back to work, to start tomorrow. That means I will have no time to post, since I go straight to a f2f game after work. I am still 100% set to play, but Wednesdays will be out as long as I'm working.
Awesome to hear that! Don't worry in the slightest about it, ghetto, I'm pretty happy to hear you're being called back, thats definitely a good thing :)
As for Weds, I will open up the ICC and set up the intro, post when you can, but as long as you let me know in advance that you can't post, thats all the courtesy I need.
