Long Shou attempts to tether the camels, and makes sure everyone else enters before him.
Fort save 15:
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2201997/
Long Shou will continue making fort saves as long as he can tether camels, using the 100ft hemp rope. Hopefully some of the camels are tied still from the ride.
When the creatures are secure, he takes one last look out through the storm, vainly trying to detect any trouble. Then, he hurries into the small building, wondering if it would be possible to start a fire to make some tea.
Makin, Faysal, Haldo, and Vadoma jump from their camel and race into the small hut to shelter from the storm, Vadoma says a few arcane mutterings and casts mage armor. Long-Shou fumbles outside in the storm for a few moments to tie up the camels, when he realizes that he can barely stay standing he heads inside to shelter with the rest. As Long enters he sees that floor of the little roofless hut seems to point downward in the middle, as if there was once a drain in the center of the room that has long since filled with sand. It is at that moment that the floor erupts and a large yellowish brown insect charges from the hole attacking Faysal, who looks just the right size for a meal. The insect bites onto Faysal and attempts to drag him under but is unable to fully grapple the wily halfling.
when you roll initiative and once combat starts, go ahead and give your actions for that turn. After I get everyone's actions I will recap the turn in the proper order. If you need to wait for someone else to act then put that in your action also, though please limit it to one or two "IF" statements.
Vadoma runs up to the tent, pulling out her sword. "Die foul beast!"
Moving up into a position where I can cast color spray aimed at the bug without hitting my allies, while trying to stay not next to the bug. If I need to I will stand next to the bug and defensively cast. Cast defensively check: (1d20+7=10)

You are in a 10'x10' room with a large insect in the center, half in and half out of the ground. The party is arrayed around the edges of the room.
If the outer 5' squares of the room are numbered 1-12 with the bottom left corner being 1 and moving clockwise. Haldo is in 1, Makin 3, Vadoma 5, Garavel 7, Faysal 8, Long-shou and the door are in 11. The Insect takes up the 4 middle squares of the room. That being said you are unable to get back from the beast or fire color spray in a way that won't hit at least Long-Shou. Would you like to change your action? I hope that wasn't too confusing.
I actually am slightly confused. If it's a 10x10 room wouldn't there only be 4 squares?
yes you are right, I miscounted originally. The hut is 20x20 and the courtyard is 40x40. Sorry about that.
Ok, I understand alot better now. Yes I would have to hit Long-Shou with it if I wanted to cast. However, I'll still go ahead and cast despite having to hit Long-Shou with it. I also didn't realize that I was already next to the monster (for some reason didn't read that I was inside the tent). If I need to (I.E. if the beast isn't grappling) I will cast defensively as per above.
Makin will then move from square '3' to square '6', flanking with Long-Shou, between Vadoma and Garavel, my Acrobatics check is above, if I can squeez past Vadoma I'll go around the monster, if that isn't allowed I'll go through the monsters space, one square towards the opposite wall, then one diagonal square to end up in '6'..
Long Shou springs into action, shrugging off the dust in his eyes. He affects a martial stance, and attempts to double-kick the closest part of the creature.
Assuming this is not a surprise round, Flurry of Blows: 6+0=6/12+0=12. Damage: 3+2=5. Not flanking because I go before Makin. For Vadoma's inevitable color spray: Will Save nat 20 +5=25 (Why did my nat 20 have to be a will save? really? why no awesome bug crunching critical?)
[ooc]Durrr...I forgot to use invisible castle for this post. It's late. Let me know if you want a redo, and I promise I'll remember in the future!
"Ancestors protect me from priestess's wiles! And bugs too!"

Hope that makes sense.
you are already flanking with Faysal, though you have a move action if you wanted to take it. Though due to the jagged rough rocks, ground and sand thrown up by an insect borrowing up from below it would be a tough DC to beat. Let me know if you still want to move to the position opposite Long and the door.
I will wait until tomorrow to post this rounds actions to allow Long to post. After that I will start posting actions for any PC that doesn't post within 24 hours of their last post during combat, except on weekends of course.

sweet I guess i will post now!
After the insect misses its grab at Faysal, Haldo jumps to his feet and swings wildly though misses wide and hits the wall of the hut.
Long-Shou lunges toward the beast swinging with his fists but misses due to the dust clinging to his eyelashes.
Faysal reacts to the bite by kicking the insect in its face as he regains his footing.
Vadoma backs to the wall and begins speaking in arcane words while tracing defensive movements with her hands though nothing seems to happen (You did not make the DC for cast defensively so the spell fizzles).
Makin, seeing his mark, stabs the insect just below it's eye driving home a critical strike.
The insect hisses at the pain and turns to attack Makin biting him on the arm (9 damage to Makin). Fortunately the insect is unable to latch onto the agile human.
Init order is Haldo, Long, Faysal, Vadoma, Makin, insect. Post actions for round 2
Long Shou sidesteps to the left to flank with the priestess, and attacks rapidly again!
Because it's a ten foot square creature, I think your flanking anyway by being on different sides, are you not? Doesn't matter really though, I just wanted to check.
Vadoma points her finger at Makin, as a ray of fire bursts out of her hands towards him.
Not sure if I have to make a ranged touch for this for allies, the ability doesn't mention it. But using Heavenly Fire on Makin for (1d6=6) points of healing. If needed my ranged touch is 1d20+2=15.
As the insect prepares to strike again, Haldo recenters himself and slashes it with his shiny sword.
Long-Shou shifts to gain a better position and jabs both fists at the insect connecting with one of them.
Faysal leans forward and touches the insect and yells "It's an Ankheg"
Vadoma points at Makin and a ray of fire shoots forth striking him healing him for 6HP
Makin, renewed from the heavenly fire drives his blade deep under the Ankheg's scale ending it's life. As it falls lifeless to the ground it begins to slide down into it's den below the sand.
Garavel stands up seeming to be over his bout with inaction and raises his scimitar, ready to fight. he looks around as if to say "what? I had sand in my eye. I was just about to attack.
Vadoma moves over to Garavel and pats his back. "It's ok, we got it for you." Looking over to everyone else she states, "Do you think there might be anything left behind down there? It might also be a good place to get away from this sandstorm."
I cast light on a rock nearby if there is one, if not on a copper piece and drop it down into the den.
Vadoma finds a rock and causes it to glow with light. The den is little more than a small void in the sand and rock of the ground. It is too small for more than one or two human sized creatures though with the limp body of the Ankheg filling it one would be a tight squeeze.
Makin prods at his divinely seared wound. He felt good despite being still a little roughed up.
He grinned widely, the storm still rattling the walls.
'Thanks V!' He peers over the edge of the hole. 'Me and Haldo can pull that Ankheg up and you and Faysal should be able to sit pretty in that hole, its the least I could do, I owe ya one!'
He looks to Haldo and goes to begin moving the large critter.
Stepping beside Haldo, Long Shou gives the dead creature a quick bow before helping the warrior haul it out. "Sorry we enter your house, ankheg. But it not nice to eat our cleric either."
"Faysal, don't be so negative... We're just exploring a hole. Besides we need to clear it out just in case more people use this tent for shelter from storms. No one deserves to die like that."
The Ankheg, though not fully grown still weighs over 600 lbs and is not easily moved. You do however get it adjusted just enough to let the halfling jump in. Long notices what appears to be bones of a digested corpse off to the side. After attempting to climb in also Vadoma realizes that she doesn't want to be that intimate with the halfling and decides to climb back out.
the hole really is only big enough for an Ankheg so 2 people will not fit unless you want to drag the thing out, but that may take some help from a beast of burden. Though the storm will not make that easy.
I already have! Makin is totally converted, do we keep our own XP or will you keep it Xyro?
'Okay, its heavy, and also down in a hole, we just need to pull it up and hold it long enough for Faysal or Vadoma to nab the remains, and whatever else is down there.'
'If Haldo grabs it, me and Long Shou can help pull it up a bit, without the disruption of going outside into that' he yells over the sound of the raging sand-wind raking the walls.
A strength check made by Haldo, who can theoretically drag about 1000 lbs., with aid another from both Makin and Long Shou.
'But maybe we should wait until the storm passes?'
"Let's do it now," shouts Haldo, trying to be heard over the howl of the sandstorm. "Later this thing will get buried under sand, and I don't want to have to dig it out."
