Spoiler:
Thanks for the invite, but I wont be able to get a character ready in time. Am already having trouble finishing characters for two other PbP. V_V Real Life and work schedules suuuck!

(Male Halfling Bard (Archivist) 5 / Pathfinder Delver 2)

Spoiler:
I hear ya! I can barely keep up with the 3 active PbP's that I'm in now!

Spoiler:

Yeah just finished 2 characters today, with work tomorrw wouldn't have it ready in time.

Suny coughs,

"So whut perzactly is this shin-dig about, anywho?"

We now return you to our irregularly scheduled PbP. (^_~)

(Male Dwarf Cleric 1)

"Hey guys!" Azral meets up with the trio on the street, his scale mail polished to a sheen and his hair tied back into a short pony tail. "Ready to partay!?"

I feel regular posting time would help to speed up this PBP a bit.

Suny laughs merrily at Azral's boisterous mood, offering him an arm on her other side of Gandel, as the group continue t proceed to the Party.

Aye, there's regular postin', an' then there's whut time will permit a bod t' get on't th' pages.

"I personally barely remember the details 'cause I was a little tips at the time."

(Male Halfling Bard (Archivist) 5 / Pathfinder Delver 2)

"Ah, what's it matter? A party's a party!" Gandel says exuberantly. "Let's meet some more of Azral's friends and have some fun before we head back out after those kobolds."

Alright, you guys ready?

I'm pretty sure all present and accounted for. Let's do this.

*Giggles*"Red Five standing by."(^_^)

(Male Halfling Bard (Archivist) 5 / Pathfinder Delver 2)

Rarin' to go!

(Male Dwarf Cleric 1)

Kill kobolds now, party later.

*pouts* But I 's all dressed an' fancied up fer th' to-do. Paar-TAAYYY!

Oh, an' I be tryin' t' get another folk interested an' joinin' in t' th' thread. Izz at okeys with every one? Sorry DM fer kind'a takin' it upn me self there. *V_V* They've no real idea as t' whut character nor race they'll be yet, they's just lookin' at th' rules an' such, havin' been away from gamin' fer a while. Cheers t' evey one! ^_^

(Male Halfling Bard (Archivist) 5 / Pathfinder Delver 2)

Taps on microphone, eliciting a squeal of feedback that echoes around the empty hall...

"Hello? Is this thing on? Anyone here?"

(Male Dwarf Cleric 1)

I am afraid I have to bow out of this campaign. Thanks for the opportunity to make a character and do some RPing. Good luck!

Is this cursed or what? I can make a 2nd character as a cleric if need be. But is there a point?

No, real life hands people lemons, is all. Poor Sesinia/Celestial obviously ran into problems in Real Life, just as the previous two players and now Azral. Heck, there were a few times when I thought my Life had thrown me enough of a spanner to not give me time or place to keep following.

I've joined a couple of games that never even made it out of the OOC Discussion thread. :P So don't feel too bad about people dropping. We just keep on our way to the shin dig and it allows us to meet new players/characters.

Now, if Lordzack has been taken out? Then we're without a DM and that would kind of make us a free floating group pf players. Still, that makes us a recourse to be in a good position to actually attract/recruit a new DM (Just throwing a hypothetical, am really wishing you ll the best DM. :) )

SO! Again, we should A) Give Celestial/Sesinina the benefit of their Real Life getting in the way of their fun and B) Go and recruit fro maybe two new/other players (Also asking for a Cleric :P) to join in. There are more than enough people always seeking a game. To have a game and let it go to waste?

Am I over positive? Don't know, but dammnit if I will go down with out a fight! They may take our what's its, but they can never take our FREEGAME! (Paints face blue and wishes they had a Scottish accent..and maybe a tail...:P)

(^_^)

I'm still here. I'm not sure that I'm up to posting right yet though, seeing as though it's 6:00 in the morning.

Not's to worry, um much. We's still got Thorn and Gandel, we's just thow th' word out fer some one else t' be fillin' th' shoes o' th' folks we's loosin'. Though with all this turn around, I be thinkin' o' maybe startin' a "Drop out tax" or somat. :P

Lookin' forw'd t' yer postin' when yer gots th' timein'. ^_^

You arrive at the inn where the party is taking place. There are many guests here already, including various clergy and lay members of the Cult, elves, envoys from the capital, and of course the Band of Fire themselves. In addition to Karlee, whom you've already met there is the high priest of the Fire Cult, Gilhim, a curly-haired man who is wearing a brightly-colored courtier's outfit with mostly reds and yellows, his enforcer the mysterious Liroy, who is wearing a cloak that conceals his features, and the elven sisters Alusia and Athara who are both wearing simple elven garb.

Karlee says "Hey, welcome to the party guys! I see you've met Azral.". Then Gilhim says in a gravely, but friendly voice, "So, you're the adventurers Karlee was talking about! I wish you luck in you're battles against the kobolds!"

"Thank you. We're determined to get rid of the filth one way or another."

Suny smiles and nods to people. ^_^

Letting go of Thorn and Sesinia, Suny wanders over to the large table where the food is being laid out.

They's got a buffet spread out, don't they? Keepin' th' posts up t' one a day. (^_~)

(Female. Changeling, I suspect. Fighter 2/Oracle of Lore 1)

(I've heard that there might be an opening in this game? I'm waiting to see if I'm in another pbp for first-time players, and if I am I can't join. But if I'm not, I'd like to know if I could join this game)

*^.^* Um, ooopsie! I kind of meant fer ye t' post in'a Off topic thread t' be sayin' hello an' that ye wus in'erested. But never t' mind, yer here now. ^_^ Meby go back an' read up on whut we's done so far? (Which in't kind o' a lot, *V_V*) an' here's t' hopin' our DM, LordZack, gets back t' ye quick rightly about whut's t' be expectin' of a potential new adventurin' companion. I already know whut Gandel's suggestion's are gonna be. :P. Cheery-O! (^_^)

(Female. Changeling, I suspect. Fighter 2/Oracle of Lore 1)

(oh, sorry. but I have to leave soon and didn't get to read up on everything, so I'll have to ask what's happening if I do join)

Um, whut's happenin'? Really, a browse through the past posts would be th' best way t' learn what's happened. Short summary is: There's a town, they's have a little bit of a monster problem. Group of fighters is about, they's just a tad short handed atm. So, some one t' bolster their cause is whut they be lookin' for. ^_^

(Female. Changeling, I suspect. Fighter 2/Oracle of Lore 1)

(read it all now)

Thorn looks around the room, her eyes scanning those assembled for some sign of why hher group was even here aside from the invitation.

(Female. Changeling, I suspect. Fighter 2/Oracle of Lore 1)

(waiting for the DM to approve my character before I can join)

*grins impishly* ^_^ Oh no ye don't.

As Suny looks over the array of tables and all of the paraphernalia that is arrayed upon them hr gaze also travels the room.

Perception:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

Spying another Elf amongst the many guests she walks over to her. Flipping and swishing the hem of her free flowing skirt as she does so, enjoying the feel of the fabric as it brushes against her legs.

Elvish

Spoiler:
"Hello! My name is Elanesadriell. To whom have I the joy of meeting?

Suny stands before this newcomer, a happy and warm smile upon her lips and a twinkle of some mischief in her large blue eyes.

Um. should we all have a raise of hands, as it were, t' be seein' who's still with us? Gandel luv, you still about? Thorn's still helpin' carry th' thread, how's Celestial goin'? Aye, an' that might be a problem. Two players with th' same avatar picture. Guess folks'll have t' be carful to who they're replyin' too. (^_~)

(Female. Changeling, I suspect. Fighter 2/Oracle of Lore 1)

Ash looked up in some surprise from her meal, managing a welcoming smile. Her pretty, very pale, thin face, framed by long white hair with faint silver highlights, didn't look like it often smiled and the expression lifted some of the thoughtful melancholy out of her large violet-grey eyes.

Elvish

"Well met, Elanesadriell. I suppose you are one of the adventurers who are going to help with the kobold problem?"

Ash nudged the pack that rested beneath her chair with her foot to make sure it was still there. She hoped she might get to join up with the adventurers, she had heard that they needed a healer.

(Male Halfling Bard (Archivist) 5 / Pathfinder Delver 2)

Seeing Suny speaking to a beautiful white-haired elf maiden, Gandel approaches, snagging three champagne flutes from a passing server and presenting one to each woman while keeping one for himself.

"Shade and sweet water," the blond-haired gnome greets in Elvish as he sweeps a rakish bow without spilling a drop of his drink. "My name is Gandelplot Trapspringer," he continues in the Common tongue, "but you can call me Gandel. I'm a friend of fair Suny's here. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Lady...?"

(Female. Changeling, I suspect. Fighter 2/Oracle of Lore 1)

"Ash Jathal," the cleric says politely, accepting a drink. "You may call me Ash. I assume you are part of the adventuring group that was seeking a healer?" She taps the holy symbol she wears over her plain light grey robes. "I'm was hoping to join you. I don't have much else to do." Ash grins wryly and takes a sip of champagne. Much better than stale water, she thinks.

Sorry for not posting for the last few days. I was indisposed and not able to get to a computer. I am better now and would certainly accept another character. I'll have to see some stats however. I'd like to get back to the adventure proper soon, so perhaps we could fast forward through the party a bit after Yucale gets done introducing her character.

Um, C'n I suggest Yucal also adjust their Avatar an' name an' such? *^_^* Sorry fer bein' such a seemin' pain...but...

Also, sorry t' th' DM fer draggin' th' new player in so soon, but like ye said, t'is best t' be gettin' back t' th' Ko-boileys sooner rather than later, though shouldn't we be givin' others a chance t' be joinin', or is th' three of us enough? I know of another thread where there's folks now lookin' fer a game. Maybe we could drop 'em a line an' see if they want t' be hookin' up?

(Female. Changeling, I suspect. Fighter 2/Oracle of Lore 1)

I already posted Ash's stats in the recruitment thread. So I make a new "alias" for this adventure? 'K

"I'm a cleric of Healing and Repose, so I can fill in the healer spot. I'm ready to leave as soon as you and your group is, if you'll have me," she continued, putting her drink down.

'Think that's good for an introduction.

this works?

Very cool.

*SQUEEEE!*...*GLOMP*

*cough* Um, yeah t'is neat-o...*^_^*

Suny nods and continues to smile at this newcommer,

Elvish

Spoiler:
"Why that does sound both splendid and I am thankful that we perchance find ourselves under such a smiling providence."
Suny looks to Thorn and Gandel,

"Whut?" She asks softly, puzzled.

Ash finished her cup of champagne. "Thank you. When are we leaving?" though she was curious about the tan elf's odd mode of speech, she didn't say anything about it.

Thorn breaks into a smile.

"Welcome to the fun."

Gilhim gets up and grabs a scroll case from the table.

"You should find this useful if you encounter the dragon that inhabits the ruins. This scroll has three castings of a spell for protecting against acid. His lair is near the kobolds, but off the main hallway. If you run into a dart trap, the next room is the dragon's. I suggest you hold off attacking him until you're ready."

He hands the scroll case to Suny.

He hands the scroll case to Suny.

Suny's hands cup the scroll that's been handed to her, though her gaze is more startled and alarmed at hearing the words Gilhim has said.

"Dragon...after dart trap..." She mumbles, possibly sounding as if in shock, or going into a state of something similar.

(Male Halfling Bard (Archivist) 5 / Pathfinder Delver 2)

"FFFWWWAAAASSSHHHH!!!" Gandel's champagne explodes from his mouth, spraying all over (1 = Ash, 2 = Suny, 3 = Thorn, roll 1d3 ⇒ 3) Thorn.

"DRAGON! Did he say DRAGON?!" the startled gnome exclaims, his eyes widening in horror. "Why do these Fire Cult people keep talking about a DRAGON down there with those kobolds?! Is there really a DRAGON?"

"Oh, sorry!" Gandel says to Thorn, although this time the gnome is too perplexed to try to wipe off the offending liquid.

"Yes, there is a dragon down there. It killed two of our companions. That was before Liroy, Alusia and Athara joined up with us."

Wiping the chapagne from her face Thorn gives Gandel a look as she takes the glass from his hand.

"Why is it always me?"

"Uhm, thank you for the warning, we'll....be very careful." She gives the rest of the group a look of having much to discuss.

As the group moves off Suny can be heard to mumble softly to herself as she wanders along,

"Dragon...darts...Dragon..." The Elf's skin perhaps a shade paler than before, here large blue eyes open wider than before...

Last call for any others to join the fun! Adventure train heading out! Last call!

Ash sighed and wiped the champagne off her face, then picked up her pack and followed the others. A dragon, oh joy. Well, I guess it's lucky for them that they finally have a healer along. "I'll need an hour tonight to meditate and replenish my stock of spells," she remarks aloud.
