This is my homebrew world Arcaia. This particular setting is the free city of Opal, a lush equatorial city set on the edge of an immense jungle rife with undead , ancient civilizations, and dinosaurs.
Choosing not to get involved with the discussion, San still gives a good chuckle at the banter going back and forth. He'll quickly scan the area with detect magic, however.
Ten Foot Twin Eater(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)
Ten Foot, boyed by the power of his god and his "remove fear" effect, looks up at the webbing with confidence, "they're not stupid enough to try and take me on!"
Joleesa looks up at the big man and grins. "That's the spirit. Now let's go find us some treasure to plunder!" She draws Raptorstrike and heads off towards the opening Vilya spotted.
Pat, Joleesa is leaving "Wheezy" and Lumien back with Karl now that he's staying up top. She didn't really want to take them underground into ruins last time, but had no choice. This time Karl can look after them. :)
Wheezy and Lumien both chirp sadly as Jo and the rest leave the dock area, but they remain with Karl. The party enters the abandoned town, weapons at the ready. The ironwood that shields the temple's entrance looks to be 300 years olds if it is a day, it's extensive roots literally grinding the surrounding pyramid courtyard stones to dust.
Behind the large tree is a dark entry. Egan leans in with his torch and illuminates a set of stairs leading downwards. Cobwebs drape the entrance in a grey shroud.
Izkrael:
Spoiler:
There are several tracks Iz can discern, including what looks to be the spoor of undead. A rotted piece of cloth soaked in dried blood waves off a thorny bramble. A clawed footprint is half-recognizible. There might be ghouls about. Besides that, several discarded silk-wrapped monkeys and birds point to arboreal spiders in the vicinity: Big ones. Also, there are several different dino prints, as well as peccary hoof marks.
Tobias:
Spoiler:
It is hard to tell, but Vilya might either have a touch of alien realms in her bloodline, or she could be trafficing with unclean beings that are twisting her. Only Vilya herself could tell you for sure.

I'm assuming nothing radiated as magic, then, correct?
She then strides forward towards the opening, Raptorstrike held before her at the ready.
The dark cavernous stairway leads down into the darkness. Fat roots and spiderwebs bar the entrance. A layer of composted leaf mold blankets the stone steps. There is no sound but the occasional drip of water from the stalagtites forming on the roof.
Jo slices through the roots and webs, shaking a few palm-sized spiders off their homes. They scuttle off to the corners. The group descends twenty feet, ending up in a square room.
The room is empty, except for faded murals of Xoltec kings and gods. Scenes of gory sacrifice, cannibalism and necromancy leer from every side. The room seems to be a dead end
Egan searches the wall opposite the entrance carefully, including the ceiling above, and the floor below.
take 20 on perception = 37
Egan spots a bump in the wall. When he gets close and feels around it, it retracts. A grinding sound issues from the wall and a 10' panel slides back, revealing a dark corridor.
OK, if there is anyone who doesn't have low light vison of some sort you're gonna need some illumination.
As Egan looks down the passageway, he spots a differently-colored stone in the floor. It might be nothing, but many of these old Xoltec ruins have traps set in them ..
Vilya takes to the darkness ahead of the party as if she was born for it. Perhaps she was. In any case, she begins to scan the walls, floor, and ceiling for anything out of the ordinary, her elongated fingers probing every crack and crevice of the stone.
Vilya didn't see the discolored step until San points it out. She takes a moment and does find a trap attached. Small holes on the side of the walls suggest some sort of stabby blade or darts coming out at midriff level, She cracks her disturbingly-jointed hands and gets to work
Joleesa stifles a chuckle at the interaction between Sanvoros and Vilya, before moving off to have a better look around at their new surroundings for herself, at least as much as she can in the light available from Tobias' light.

Ten Foot Twin Eater(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)
Ten Hustles along behind the group leaders, hand gripped firmly on his axe, he resists the urge to whistle merrily.
The dank hallway leads further in. Grotesque carvings of fantastical demons and undead cover the walls, glistening with slime and centuries of mineral deposits.
The hallway ends in a large room. There is a square shaft in the center and three hallways leading off from the other walls. A faint meeping sound can be heard echoing through the stillness. A detrius of old bones and clothing sits in one corner.
Egan just looks at Vilya and rolls his eyes, then searches the room to see if anything unusual makes itself evident. If Vilya attempts to take the lead he will let her, and will make sure to stay far enough away from her so as not to be caught up in any traps she "Disarms".
Take 20 for a 37 moving around to the right checking as he goes. Explore this room before going down any tunnel, but looking down each tunnel as he passes.
Egan sees Iz heading for the shaft Which is a hole, yes so he begins searching the slime-slicked walls.
Iz heads to the shaft ..

Izkreal:
Spoiler:
Just before Iz reaches the edge of the shaft he hears a faint sound of scraping rock. His keen nose picks up the scent of something ...rotten ..eminating from the dark pit ...
Assuming he hears or sees something in the shaft, San will move to get on the south side of it (q26).
Ten Foot Twin Eater(Male Half Orc - Half Human- Half Something Else (I know that is 3 halves, but he is a big chap) Cleric Level 4)
Ten Foot starts to head over to the "detrius of old bones and clothing that sits in one corner." He draws his axe as he moves and stops a few feet short of it.
Still taking a 10 on perception checks for a total of 13.
Izkrael waves one hand in the air to get everyone's attention, then, holding his sword at the ready, he inches foward to the edge of the shaft.
If possible, he will also ready an attack for the first thing to emerge from the shaft.

Initiative 1d20+4
Readied Attack w/ Curveblade 1d20+8(+2 vs. undead)
Damage (if applicable) 2d6+3 (+2 vs. undead)
Nice init!
Iz stalks in and when a feral snarling undead face pops up from the shaft's edge, hoping for an easy meal, it meets his blade. The creature screeches and falls back flailing into the yawning pit, but there is the sound of others meeping and shreiking through the corridors and out from the shaft lip.
OK, I'll get a map up soon, call out a starting position..
