Groodar bows to the Knight Danguard and then leaves the area to go where the droid designated as HK-22 is lcoated. The small hovering droid naturally follows him.
Rodese: "bortaS bIr jablu'DI' reH QaQqu' nay'"
Spoiler:
"Author, please record close up of HK-22 for documentation and archival purpose."
Groodar removes Shine Gel and an Electron-Buff Pad from his tool kit and asks HK-22.
If you heed Dangaurd's call to battle, you'll fall a bit short of your 10 minutes to finish what you are doing, although this shouldn't be detrimental to HK-22.
Curses! I still can't break that 10 mark on my knowledge rolls. But I'm closer. The galactic lore check for the symbol above. Knowledge Galactic Lore (1d20+8=16)
Ceelell listened quietly to all the talk, trying to process what is being said by the angelic creature and gathering what information he can from all the other's speeches. Finally he looks to Troy and nods his head. "This is fine for me. I can provide tactical assistance, as I did for the previous commander, but I do not believe my role is to lead. The loss of life is a difficult thing for me, I would prefer not to have to order it."
He glances to the other who calls out that there is company coming. "Do they look hostile?"
Hearing that they've got company, Aruuna takes one last look over the various consoles on the bridge to see if any of the weapons are still functional.
Groodar quickly places his tool kit in his backpack without finishing buffing out the rust on HK-22. He slings the pack over his back and draws his rather small blaster pistol from its hip holster.
Basic: "Groodar will finish later friend HK-22. Troy or others may need our assistance repelling boarders or other undesirables."
Groodar heads to the cargo hold, and depending if HK-22 comes with him or not, will make sure he is behind the fodder, er, um, combat droid.

Ha!
"Statement: Let us proceed to the cargo hold and hope that there is mindless violence to be had. This unit specializes in violence."
Unless otherwise indicated, I'm going to assume that everyone heed's Dangaurd's call to check out the approaching automatons. If this is the case, I'd like to know how you stand (i.e. how far apart, who is in the first rank, who is in the second rank).
Also, once you figure out how you are standing, I'd like each character to make a perception check as they file out of the ship, and post the result.
Basic: "Author records and offers playback on all known mediums however Groodar has no remote communication sensors presently in his gear for remote viewing."
Is Groodar sending the droid ahead of him to scout? Also, make a perception check as soon as you turn him on, for the droid to see what he is picking up.
I quickly point out I am a knight and not a master to Groodra, and also add that it appears our only master has "become one with the force" and take a position next to Troy in the front lines.
Its good to know that my ability with skill checks extends beyond knowledges. Maybe I'll make the ultimate soldier since I'll be able to roll attack rolls instead. Perception (1d20+0=4)
Ceelell draws his own blaster and sets it to IonIts Verpine ability. He looks around at the others and falls in slightly towards the back, he knows he's not the best shot and is probably better off being out of the way of the others. Plus from that vantage he is better able to assess the situation ahead of them and encourage the others.
"Let us be ready, fellow sentients. We don't know just what these droids are looking for, but it seems likely that they could be part of the conquerors that were spoken of. In any case, be ready for anything, try and take the most defensible positions possible."
Going to try and activate my inspire confidence ability again through his speech as soon as combat looks to be imminent. +1 on attack rolls and +1 on skill checks as long as I'm visible and not unconscious.
Well there goes my knowledge tactics check to see if I could spot any better position to set us up in. Knowledge Tactics (1d20+8=9)
Author is already active as I did it in another area of the ship as I was working on HK-22 before interrupted. Also if you need Author's stats they are in my profile.
While flicking through the holo-channels to pick up the droids signal, Aruuna mutters to herself in her native tongue (namely Ryl/Twi'leki), wondering aloud why everyone's left the highly defensible ship.
She then turns to Lucen, advising him politely to stay back and hide in the back of the ship, and wait till they sort it all out, trying to reassure him.
Groodar's head antennae dart in Aruuna's direction as he hears bits of Ryl of which he is fluent in after spending so many nights at Targon's Exotic Dance and grill.

Passing her holo-communicator to Groodar, Aruuna pulls her lightsaber out its holster, thumb on the activation plate.
'We may as well go outside and join the others. Groodar, you keep half an eye on what your droid shows you, and let us know if it sees anything unusual, like droid reinforcements. Oh, and Lucen, stay in here and keep your head down. We'll take care of these droids.'
With that, she strides out and takes up position next to the other Jedi.
It appears to have a durasteel shell and is equipped with a blaster rifle. It looks a little different than the ones you are used to, but it looks like the base model sentinel droid that many military forces use.
Now that you have had them pointed out to you, the first rank of droids is standing in a row of four, about 10 meters apart, and there are three ranks of droids, for a total of about a dozen droids.
HK-22 will take up a position under cover in the second rank, with a clear firing solution at the incoming droids. He will also take the time to switch his rifle to autofire and brace himself.
Basic: "These droids are built for combat and guard duty. We want to be careful as they are heavily armored and armed. Anyone have any grenades to take em out if need be as there is a 12-squad heading this way it seems."
You notice the force of droids, armed with rifles, marching toward the ship. If you are inclined to attack, you can attack in a surprise round, as they do not seem to have detected you yet. The front rank of droids are at 20 meters (10 squares).
If you notify your allies first, before you attack, they may make an attack in the surprise round as well.
HK-22 will issue the following statement: "Statement: INCOMING!" and autofire!
(I edited my post above to add: "HK-22 will take up a position under cover in the second rank, with a clear firing solution at the incoming droids. He will also take the time to switch his rifle to autofire and brace himself." I'm going to proceed as if this happened...)
Note: I cna't brace this, as it's not an autofire only weapon, so ignore the bracing point... I really need to get me a heavy repeating blaster rifle... Or an E-Web...
Everyone hears HK-22 yell: "Incoming" and if they are so inclined, they can take an action in the surprise round, as you all see at about 20 meters (10 squares) a rank of sentinel droids standing about 10 meters apart, in three ranks, for a total of 12 droids.
The droids don't appear to be aware of you, but just after HK-22 yells, you see him fire a burst of autofire from his blaster rifle and pulverize the nearest sentinel droid to him.
For HK-22:
Spoiler:
There weren't two close enough to catch more than one in autofire, but the half damage of the autofire was enough to blow one of the sentinel droids apart.
Basic: "Crazy droid! Don't you have any programing in protocol and etiquette? We did not know what their intentions were. Back to moisture vaporator maintenance for you my friend."
Groodar from behind cover of the landing gear takes a shot at an advancing droid (as weapon was already drawn in previous post).
HK-22 lets out a disappointed sigh as the first droid falls. "Statement of regret: so much wasted droid life. This unit much prefers to shoot meatbags."
Basic: "Crazy droid! Don't you have any programing in protocol and etiquette? We did not know what their intentions were. Back to moisture vaporator maintenance for you my friend."
"Statement: moisture vaporators account for 17.6 fatalities each cycle. Don't be a statistic, meatbag."
I'm preparing a force jump once they get within range (with my best score they're still well out of range by 12 meters or so.)
With the flourish of a pearl white energy trail I draw my lightsaber and hold it in a reverse grip behind my back. With my free hand I draw my hood over my face. It's pure white blade hums and crackles somewhat erratically.
"Next time." Looking at HK-22. "Lead them a meter and aim for the second in line, with auto fire you'll trace your targets better."
Ceelell drops low against the wall, pointing out the line and taking a shot. His lack of skill with the blaster is quite obvious though as the ion blast fires out. Verpine Blaster shot (1d20+2=6, 3d6=11)
Shaking his head a bit, he looks to HK-22 "Are you sure they were hostile? Before we opened fire on them that is."

For Danguard:
Spoiler:
For our unique initiative set up, if your side gets initiative, your readied action doesn't do much, but if the droids win initiative, you get to play out your readied action, and then take your action during your side's turn as normal.
Christy outstretches her hand in hopes of smashing a droid with the force!
Christy concentrates, pulls in air and debris into a compressed ball, and then fires the compressed air and debris at one of the sentinel droids, shattering it into a thousand pieces.
