pesst...Ithaniar, your davids showing ;D

Lies! I would never make such a mistake! :P

"I might try that, but I'm not really good at sneaking. Maybe It can do that, while I watch his back?"

(undefined Cyclopse)

Das passiert mir die ganze Zeit.

(Male Half-elf Monk 4/Sorcerer 1)

"This is strong proof that Verk is up to no good. Let's get that boat and investigate, Captain Forzhakhad."

(N Warforged Fighter)

"It agrees. It is not quiet."

(Female Human (mostly) Rogue 2)

Without commenting on the discussion around her Whisper starts shedding clothing, removing bulkier layers that would hinder her movement. Her light crossbow and backpackfinds their place with her clothes and she gathers them all up in a bundle before moving away from the group. Quickly she squirrels them away somewhere she deems to be a safe enough hiding spot for an hour or two before silently walking to the water's edge and preparing to dive in.

As Captain Forzakhad,Finn, Guard,Ithaniar and It move to retrieve a boat ,whispers dives into the cool water of the bay. The water slides around her as she makes her way to the ship,in the days fadeing light.

I am aguessing you are takeing 10 on this. The water is calm. You will reach the Nixie in 8 rounds

As whisper swims the bay the rest of the group makes there way to the boat tied at the end of the second pier. As he sun touches the horizon whisper is deep in the coming shadow as she approaches the ship. Three men can be seen on board armed with crossbows of some kind. Two on the main deck one on the quarter deck. They scan the bay with sharp eyes as night nears

Whipser I need a stealth check,a climb for boarding and a 2nd stealth fo being on the ship. The others are 8 rounds out with hard rowing..16 at a more standred pace.

As if ordered to, Guard sits down next to the paddels of the boat, hitting a fast tempo with his rowing.

(N Warforged Fighter)

It settles into Guard's rhythm with the oars.

(Female Human (mostly) Rogue 2)

Stealth, climb, stealth (1d20+7=23, 1d20+4=19, 1d20+7=15)

Whisper swims quietly out to the boat and climbs on board as quietly as she can without knowing the layout, especially where would be good to hide.

Whisper

Spoiler:
AS you climb on board the guards seems not to notice you. You can make out the repeaters they all three carry. You stand close to the quarter deck, where the ships will is. There is a door leading to cabins under the quarter deck, a hole leading to the hold by the main mast, and a 2nd door across the ship below the Foc's'le deack[front of the ship]

(Male Half-elf Monk 4/Sorcerer 1)

Sighting the guards on patrol on the deck of the boat, Finn concentrates and utters a few words in the language of magic, surrounding his body with an invisible armored sheath.

Finn casts Mage Armor before he gets to the boat.

(Male Valenar Cleric1)

Ith sees Finn speak his arcane words and loosens his double scimitar in its sheath...

(Female Human (mostly) Rogue 2)

Keeper:

Spoiler:
Whisper slinks slowly and carefully towards the cabins, keeping an ear out for people talking, wanting to glean as many clues as possible.

Whisper

Spoiler:

I need a perception check from you

Everyone else

Spoiler:

As your boat meets the halfway mark your target is clear. One man on the quarter deck seems to be waving you off.
this puts you 3 rounds behind whisper

(N Warforged Fighter)

Unless otherwise directed, It continues rowing wordlessly.

(Male Half-elf Monk 4/Sorcerer 1)

Finn snorts disdainfully.

"Ignore that fellow -- we can discuss matters with the men on board the ship."

(Female Human (mostly) Rogue 2)

Keeper:

Spoiler:
Perception (1d20+4=11)

Gah! IC hates me today!

(male Kalashtar Shaper 2)

"Once we get near I can put the spell of fear on everyone on board, that is not on our side."

Full Defense

Whisper

Spoiler:

As she nears the door and prepares to open it she hears voice on the other side. Whisper freezes... Behind hear she can hear the two mean on deck talking.
"Whata ya reckon those buggers be bout's?" "Em' in tho boat right there...Humm not sure..Hav shamus weave em off will ya..Cants has em messing with the binness now can we."

Every one else

Spoiler:

You are still 2 rounds behind whisper I am gonna let her catch up since alot depends on how them two rounds play out

(Male Half-elf Monk 4/Sorcerer 1)

Finn keeps an eye out for Whisper's mangled body in case it floats by the boat. ;-)

Hey it might make a useful flotation device :P

(Female Human (mostly) Rogue 2)

Thanks for the vote of confidence guys!

Spoiler:
Whisper shifts a bit closer, watching to see if they indicate who this 'Shamus' is and where he is, in the hopes of distracting him so he won't 'weave em off'

Perception (1d20+4=16)

Whisper

Spoiler:

He is the man on the quarter deck. All 3 men seem to be carrying cannith reapeter's or different makes and models. You don't know much about crossbows but you have seen them around, the one this shamus has seems to have a small box on it.He seems to be looking out at the water.

1 round and counting....you guys will be halfway there once ya catch up.

(Female Human (mostly) Rogue 2)

Spoiler:
Whisper looks around frantically for something small to throw that will make a distracting sound. If she can't find anything around her she'll put a few of her own copper into some kind of makeshift pouch and throws it so it will land somewhere behind Shamus, hoping to distract him from the others on the boat.

Whisper

Spoiler:

The copper pouch lands close to Shamus..he seems to look about picks it up and opens it...he looks to the others and shouts
"WHYRA throwing copper at me ya lots..i said i was wavering em off."

from the main deck the others reply "quite ya whinning all ready and wave em off for we has to feed em to the beasties " there laughter ripples across the deck .
Shamus looks distort and goes to wave off the boat pocketing the copper "well donaya be throwing stuff at me "
I'll need a stealth roll if ya wish to do any sneaking about.perception would be helpful as well

Everyone else

Spoiler:
Laughter fills the air as one of the men wave ya off. The sun has set and night is upon you

We are now all in the same time.

(Male Half-elf Monk 4/Sorcerer 1)

Finn scans the side of the ship for a rope or chain to climb up, ignoring the guards on duty unless they hail him.

(Female Human (mostly) Rogue 2)

Spoiler:
Whisper stays hidden as best she can and keeps an eye out for any ways in which she can help her colleagues board the ship.

Perception (1d20+4=17)
Stealth (1d20+7=17)

Finn

Spoiler:

You see nothing But a few ropes.More figures seem to emerge from the cabins, It looks as if the ship is preparing to sail.

Suddenly there seems to be some commotion onboard, The main on the deck seems to be aiming his crossbow at something on deck!

Whisper

Spoiler:

You see a rope ladder, close to the side. As you move toward it the cabin door opens and two figurers come out.

"Prepare the ship for sail"
One with a scare says, the woman with him moves toward the ships wheel.
Two others come from the 2nd door and start toward the sails. One of the men look toward the scared man and says

"Vark there seems to be a Boat headed this way"

Varks looks at the man" well wave em off ya sodden fishbait or put em full of shot!"

"Someone on board!"
several yell shamus on the far deck and 2 coming from a cabin have spotted whisper. She is 10 feet from the edge and has been seen.

Whisper roll for Init and state actions

3 rounds out guys. 45 feet away

Guard stays in the boat for starters, trying to get a good hold to the ship to let others get on board.
If somehow possible. Strength roll?

(male Kalashtar Shaper 2)

Forzakhad readies his crossbow and prepares to shoot, if Whisper's being attacked.

(Female Human (mostly) Rogue 2)

Spoiler:
Whisper looks up at the men with wide, scared eyes. "Please! Don't hurt me! I just wanted to get away from Sasserine and have an adventure and it looked like you were preparing to sail so I swam over.. I.. can I come with you? Please I'm useful and don't take up much space!" She babbles tugging nervously at a strand of her soggy hair as she plays the part of a stowaway.

initiative (1d20+3=14)
Bluff (1d20+5=15)

Whisper

Spoiler:

Verk looks down at whisper "Oh lass, I think we's can find a good use for ya all right"

Most of his crew chuckle and leer. The lone woman on board speaks "I dona trust her skinny ares at all verk, trow her off or kill her now!"
He looks whisper over and looks up to two of the new arrivals. "Take her to the hold tie her up if she gives ya any trouble feed her to the cargo"

The two me get disturbing grins as they move to take whisper to the hold.
Then one of the crossbowmen speaks.

"VERK! That bout be still acoomming"

He looks over to the man. "Well put some shots over em and wave the wangers off !

Everyone else

Spoiler:

The seems to be some shouting on the ship then 2 shots come toward you over the port side of the boat. then yeah can her some one yell "OFF WITH YE!"

2 rounds to the ship 30 feet[9.14 meters]

(Female Human (mostly) Rogue 2)

Spoiler:
Whisper feigns a great deal of fear as she looks around the people around her. Swallowing hard she follows the two men, playing along for now so she can see more of the ship and get out of view of some of the other crew before trying anything. "Fed to the cargo? She asks quietly "What cargo?"

Upon recognising the bolts Guard stops rowing, looking at the captain for an decision if he still wants to go further towards the ship, risking lives.

Whisper

Spoiler:

One of the crewmen a dirty looking thug, glares down at her with a smile showing his missing and rotting teeth
"oh don'cha worry 'bout that sweetness, ol gran gots lots' o' plans for you once we sail." The other man gives a leer at her as well , he looks younger but scared and dirty as well "Oh yes wes have many plans for you...you be nice and ya want have the beasty eating your marrow...sids your featch more as slave then meat '

Both men burst into laughter as the grab whisper and start to haul her into the dark hold

still 2 rounds out guys

(Female Human (mostly) Rogue 2)

Spoiler:
Whisper makes a show of struggling and whimpering a little but lets them take her towards the hold, keeping an eye out for anything interesting along the way. "Beasty?" She repeats in a quiet voice.

Whisper

Spoiler:

The mean bust with curd laughter as they drag her into the dark hold. They drag her down the stairs into what seems to be a disheveled galley. An Oder of something rank is near by.

(N Warforged Fighter)

It continues rowing, but notes the exact location of Its repeating crossbow.

(male Kalashtar Shaper 2)

"Go on, get me a bit nearer to the ship, and I can hinder all enemies on the boat." Forzakhad whispers. "They are not gonna let her go without having a bit of fun."

Hearing the Captain's orders, Guard continues to row towards the ship.

(Male Half-elf Monk 4/Sorcerer 1)

Finn is on the verge of bellowing out a challenge when he hears Forzakhad's advice. He keeps his mouth shut for the nonce, ready to spring and climb up one of the ropes once the psion performs his diversion.

(Female Human (mostly) Rogue 2)

Spoiler:
"What is that smell?" Whisper exhales with genuine disgust at the rank scent.

(male Kalashtar Shaper 2)

When we are in range, Forzakhad concentrates. Some of the hoodlums on the ship begin to stagger as pictures overwhelm their minds.

Spoiler:
Demoralize:Will Save DC 15 for any enemies in 30' radius, to become shaken for one minute.

"Now!" he says. "Get us close."

(N Warforged Fighter)

Forzakhad wrote:
"Now!" he says. "Get us close."

It increases the rowing pace, keeping time with Guard.

Before I finish my post ,I will allow a charge with the boat. This will allow you to close the distance in one round ,however you will not be able to stop before you slam into the Nixie. Everyone on the boat who is not rowing will have to make reflex saves or be hurled off into the water, the hull, or the floor of the boat. Furthermore your actions will be clear to the men on the ship and will be taken as hostel. If you want to do this let me know.

(male Kalashtar Shaper 2)

"Not too fast... easy.. easy... we are all unproficient on the water.."

No charge please.

Forzakhad wrote:

Uh-hu...

I would not have decided for a charge as well, but Guard's not the 'Captain'. heh

Guard keeps rowing his rhythm, trying to get the boat alongside the ship somewhere where it would be easy to get aboard.
