Assuming that Lanten will be checking the entry room where the two bodies have been found, taking a twenty. He finds a section of wall between the two bodies that seems "loose". He can push a small bit, less that a mm in on either side of one slab.
My apologies for the delay in responding. I posted in the discussion thread on my absence. Thanks for the follow-through, Relayer. That is exactly what I was going to do, I just thought that I had covered it when we came in.
Lanten examines the slab to see if it seems like a trigger or a trapdoor. "We may have something else that our wizard missed - careful now..."
If it seems safe, he will try to move the loose slab or "trigger" it, if that works better.
Disable Device:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
Will that work, or do I need to take 20 to make it more effective?

You find a little tab at the bottom of the slab in a corner that pushes in. Then with just the tiniest of touches the door swings in (and out on the other side revealing a tunnel that heads in an extremely straight line to approximately the WSW. The workmanship on this door and tunnel is amazing. You were lucky to find it as it sure didn't move much.
"Thanks, Lady Jane. Well...we have the exit by the wizard's teleport chamber that will take us outside the mansion. This seems to be the mysterious one that even Oracain's spirit didn't know about. I'm assuming this will leads us to his killer."
Unless someone has other ideas, Lanten will proceed down this new tunnel. He'll move slowly, checking for any other unusal switches, etc as they go.
Perception:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18(+1 for trap-related)
1. Lanten the rogue
2. Darius the paladin
3. Ammian the fighter
4. Wulfie the sorceror
5. Jane the cleric
6. Durian the wizard
7. Elena the bard.
The corridor leads exactly straight for about 2 km. No traps or doors or anything else appears. At that point it turns west and continues approx 60 feet until two doors appear. One on the left and one on the right.
You also note that Oracain is no longer with you.

"Great .. Two doors .. Anyone want to venture a guess ?"
Lanten, does it look like either door has been opened recently? Where did that apparition disappear to? I have a feeling there is more to him than he is letting on...
"Maybe he's reached the limit of his haunting grounds...I'm hoping that spirit isn't evil, but I did just let a con-man get the best me, so who I am to know, eh?"
Lanten approaches the two doors, looking for signs of activity from either one, or possibly traps.

You detect neither traps or activity at these doors
Lanten flips a coin, mutters something, and then tries to open the right-hand door.
You open the door with great ease, it opens toward you. Totaly empty room. 25 ft left to right. 30 feet deep. You are in the center of the north wall of the room. 10 ft ceilings.
"Well, as empty as a pauper's coin-purse, he utters. "Still...just to be curious...," he says and enters the room, looking for any further details or signs of activity.

If you continue up the hall, after about 40 feet, you find another pair of doors, one on each side.
So, just to clarify, this hallway continues continues straight, at the 60' and 100' mark there's a there's a door on each side. But the corridor itself hasn't ended yet?
Unless anyone objects, or wants to check either of these two rooms, Lanten will move forward and check the next two doors - right one first to see if anything turns up.
Once again, you detect no traps. And the door opens easily out into the hall. But, unlike previous rooms, this room has occupants. Seven skeletons occupy the the far left corner of this room. At this time they remain unanimated and just stand there.

A fire starts to glisten in Jane's eyes, her hatred for the undead flares up.
"Undead ... !"
"These unholy spawns must be destroyed !"
Jane prepares to channel divine energy to destroy them.
Readying her action until she can catch all of them in the 30ft blast. Channel DC = 19 / Undead do not add their channel resistance to their saves. (Sun Domain) Channel Energy damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Durion studies the room from where he is, his body tensing in expectation that the skeletons may move at any time. His hand instinctively reaches and readies the club, although he has long trained himself to consider such brute weapons a choice of last resort.
Lanten is uncertain as to what's going on with the skeletons. He enters the room, and moves to the side to let his more "holy" compatriots take a stand. He also readies his rapier in case there's a chance to move in behind the attackers.
In the meantime, he continues to scan the room for anything else.
Ammian grins as he sees the skeletons, then draws his sword and advances in the room, moving first. If he's in reach of any of the skeletons, he'll attack and cleave into another that's in range.
Relayer, what are the dimensions of this room? I missed that post. Elena will pull her bow in Round 2 and wait for a clean shot at one of the skeletons, but I am afraid to loose an arrow in a really crowded area.
Elena continues her oration, inspiring her party. She pulls her bow, and nocks an arrow, waiting for an opening.

Elana's arrow hits one of the skeletons but doesn't seem to do any damage. Then Jane steps into the room, pulls out here holy symbol, and says a very short prayer. Her holy symbol starts glowing, lighting up the room, suddenly the light expands, destroying the remaining skeletons and also healing the damage that Lanten took from the skeleton. There was much rejoicing.
Lanten rubs the place where he was wounded, slightly amazed by the quick healing effect. "Thanks, Lady Jane."
Lanten inspects what remains of the skeletons, and see if anything unusual turns up.

"Thank you Lanten, I just cannot hold myself back when in the presence of undead."
"I've made it my mission to destroy as many as the foul creatures as I can."

If I'm not mistaken, Channel Energy either heals living or damages undead - it can't do both at the same time.
Ammian's smile while fighting the skeletons by himself successfully turns into slight disappointment. He stays silent while the others rejoice at the slaying of the skeletons.
Odd, I thought it did both healing to living and damage to undead. *Reads description* Hmmm...I could go either way on that one. (I hate the common usage of "or", it is so ambiguous.) Up to the Dm.
In the d20pfsrd, under the cleric description, it states the cleric can CHOOSE to affect either the living or the undead. So I would interpret it as one or the other, but not both.
Thank you indeed, Jane. Durion calls forth arcane sight, and looks about the room for traces of magic about the room.
From the way or is commonly used, yes you are very right...the way that it is formally defined, A or B, A can be true, be can be true and A and B can be true. *shrug* Personally I think it should heal living and harm undead at the same time. BUT, like I said, it is up to Relayer.
LAWL! Okay, this will be my last post on this subject, I promise. Channel Energy is of CORSE going to do one of heal or damage. Otherwise it would be counter productive. You want to be healed by it then damaged.
