Well, that meeting went better than I thought. Hooray for cautious optimism... ;)
Glad to hear that it was not as annoying as you feared.:)
Are we actually sleeping for the night now or are we gonna be vampire chasing? Just checking.
Kannic was taking us back to the inn, so I assumed we were going to try and get some rest. I guess we need to wait on the others to show up and get a consensus on that though...
The arcanist's perception shifts and he is suddenly looking through the campfire of a traveller several miles down the road. He then shifts to a peasant's hearth, a witch's cauldon fire, a blacksmith's forge ..
Any chance he's going to see anything good? Or should I build that part myself?

Not sure - this part is Ryo's show, so we need his thoughts on this one
Sorry. Keaton's young, but he's no fool. Right now he's on the move. Having just eaten, his next attack may be to lure everyone out. Now, the next night might yield better results.
"I agree. Inside is better." She yawned. "I'm sure we can find something...." She yawned again.
"Done and done," Tam says as everybody bundles themselves back into The Juggling Dwarf. He goes to the front desk and retrieves the room keys, then hands one to Aananda.
"One warm, comfortable, and hopefully pleasant night's sleep - ready to go!"
Tam bids everyone a good night and heads up to his room. Once there, he hangs his gunbelt on the headboard, puts his Caster under his pillow, then gets in bed and pulls out his spellpad. The soft blue glow of the device illuminates his face as he briefly goes over his current selections, scanning for anything that might be handy against a vampire. He then stows it away and tries to get some shut-eye.
Aananda heads up to her room. She was definitely sleepy. But once she was there she tossed and turned trying to get to sleep. She'd slept in the Temple dormitories her entire life, and she wasn't used to the utter quiet of having a room to herself. Eventually she managed to drift off, utterly exhausted.
Early in the morning, Tam stumbles downstairs to look for some coffee and something to eat, eventually parking himself at a large table by the hearthfire and pulling out his datapad journal to jot down the events of the last day.
Aananda comes tearing down the stairs around mid-morning, looking frazzled. There are dark circles under her eyes as if she did not sleep well. She waves briefly to Tam before taking off at a run for the repair shop next door.
She quickly drops some of her things off by her bike before heading inside.
"So sorry I'm late, sir. It won't happen again," she said breathlessly. Thorg simply grunted in acknowledgment. "Skimmer and water pump over there. Fix them." And with that he went back to his work. Aananda took a deep breath, and hurried to get started.

"Good morning! Did you sleep well heywhereareyougoinginsuchahurryiseverythingokay!?"
Tamrin stumbles out of the chair and gets to the front door just in time to see Aananda run into the repair shop next door.
"Ooooh. Right - forgot about the job thing. Crap..."
Kannic heads down to the common room and orders a teradoctyl egg omelette, a pound of bacon, and a loaf of pumpernickel. He drinks a mug of coffee as he tries to wake up.

"So no news overnight?"
Is he asking me or the staff at the inn? Sorry - short work days are always the craziest, it seems, and I'm scatterbrained today.... :)

Ryo walks in, looking rested. He is blindfolded, but despite that he doesn't bump into anyone or knock anything over as he joins Tamrin and Kannic. He orders a cup of hot water, places a small amount of powder in it, and drinks it slowly.

You. Cramming 8 hours into 4 are we? ;)
You know it... :)
Tam comes back from the front door and sits back down.
"Um...nobody's said anything, but there weren't many folks around when I got up either. Aananda scared the daylights out of me when she raced out of here like a bullet, but she was just going to work next door. Which reminds me - I still need to talk to her boss about a hoverbike. Hmmm..."

"Stupid psychic hang-overs..."
Tam looks askance at Kannic, then back to Ryo.
"Pleae tell me the psychic 'buzz' was worth it - you look pretty rough, man..."
"I couldn't see where he is, and my cards didn't help much either. The only thing my dreams revealed was that someone would meet him soon, but they wouldn't know what he is."

Duhn duhn duhn!
"Any idea what that someone looks like? Is the meeting going to be in this city? And how many people are in this city, by the way?"

"Names. Names would help. Or good descriptions. Then we could make 'inquiries'. Get some extra eyes to help."
"I'm sorry, I just don't know. My dreams aren't accurate down to the most minute detail, and I forget bits of them sometimes. All I could get was that he was going to meet someone, and that his hair has changed color. Dark red, almost black.. like the blood it drinks."
Aananda looks up from her work to see a kid(late teens from the looks of him), smiling at her. His dark red hair peeks out from under a wide-rimmed hat, and his eyes seem to draw her gaze. He looks strangely familiar...

She smiles and pushes a stray lock of hair out of her face, leaving a grease smudge on her cheek.
"Yeah, I just started here yesterday. I'm Aananda. Is there something I can do for you?"
She searches her memory as she talks to him, trying to figure out if she'd met him before.

"Not really, I just saw a new face and thought I'd say hi. Oh, you have some grease on, well, nevermind, I guess as a mechanic you get grease all over, huh?"

"I never seem to know until it's too late."
"Did you get the feeling that he was going to try and meet one of us, or somebody else you know? Or could it literally be anybody? And why do I have a sickening feeling the person will be the next victim...?"
