Greenflame Blade on b2, 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19; Damage 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11 cold/fire, all adjacent enemies take 5 fire damage. Whitelotus Evasion to shift to L12, if possible

Save vs Daze 1d20 ⇒ 13; Save vs Ongoing 1d20 ⇒ 5

(Male Kobold Rogue 6)

"You talk of redemption but you still do bad things. Or you believe lies. Redemption comes when you stop doing bad things. Stop hurting other people. Then you get redemption. You believe Dreamer give you power to control your magical disease? What you do with such power? Help other people? Or hurt them?" Snaggletooth pauses for a second, then continues. With his off-hand, he points at himself. "I use to hurt others, strangers who not do anything to me. I hurt them, kill them and steal their stuff. I was bad. Then I shown better way. Now I help people, protect strangers and fight against those who try to hurt them. People like you. You want redemption? Surrender and I show you better way."

Snaggletooth the kobold philosopher

(Male Human Bard/Warlord/Warlock/Circus Monkey/Soda Jerk/Etc)

"Oh spare me," says Erik with a roll of his eyes. "These fiends wouldn't pause a moment to destroy us. They're trying right now. Do they look interested in redemption? Leave redemption for those who seek it out, not for those who'll say anything to have their lives spared."

Erik has already begun the opening notes of a hunter's song, laced with magic, and his sword sings with anticipation.

(Male Kobold Rogue 6)

"Don't listen to him, Seer-person. If you surrender, I make sure others not harm you. But must surrender now. Before it too late." Snaggletooth pleads with the Seer. "You want better way, I show you. But must surrender to me now."

Brujo swings and misses in his anxiety to keep Perigia from further harm.
Missed, so no White Lotus Evasion.

The Seers look hard at Snaggletooth and each other, communicating wordlessly between themselves.

Do they believe Snaggletooth? (1d20+9=16, 1d20+9=11)

Seer 1 nods.

"I will trust your words, kobold."

At his words, the remaining lackey also nods.

"Me too. You can't stop the berserks. Their minds have been eaten by blue fire. If you can help us, I'll help you."

Seer 2 shakes his head and grips his staff tighter. He is not convinced.

The berserks moves against the party, now including the lackey and Seer 1 among their targets.

B1 slices viciously at Caine, apparently wanting to slice the Dreamer's regalia from his back.
B1 (AC) v Caine (1d20+14=32, 1d10+4=7). 7hp damage to Caine.

B2 attacks Brujo, raising its greatsword high and hissing in anticipation as the blade falls.
B2 (AC) v Brujo (1d20+14=34, 1d10+4=5). Crit. 14hp damage to Brujo.

B3 turns a mad blue gaze on Leo, sending its greatsword swinging in a wide arc towards the paladin's head.
B3 (AC) v Leo (1d20+14=27, 1d10+4=12). 12hp damage to Leo.

B4 charges recklessly at Perigia, hands once more reaching to her throat. In its eagerness, it almost falls over its own feet and the clawed hands pass harmlessly past her.
B4 (AC) v Perigia. Unarmed and on hit will get secondary attack v Fort. (1d20+11=15, 1d6+4=8)

"Drop the amulet!" cries the seer, "It calls to all of us and they cannot resist."

Perigia - the save v daze comes at the end of your turn, so you can't do all that. Which bits are you doing? Using the AP will give you another move, minor or standard in addition to the single move, minor or standard you can take when dazed.

I will do the shift and then spend the AP to move.

Erik cares little for his more fickle enemies as the slayer's song completes and Erik's blade pulses with renewed vigor, humming excitedly as he moves to attack. The thin blade wobbles through the air, producing note after note, but steadies in preparation for the final lunge.

Move Action: Move to L12
Standard Action: Slayer's Song vs. B4; 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22 vs. AC for 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (7, 8) + 5 = 20 damage and on a hit, B4 grants combat advantage to me and all allies (save ends).

  • Effect: For the rest of the encounter, whenever I hit an enemy, they grant CA to me and my allies until TEOMNT.

  • Perigia makes her way out of blood zone, loftily ignoring the passing attack made on her by B4. Once away from the cascade of diseased liquid, she can finally clear her head.
B4 - unarmed OA v Perigia. On hit gets secondary attack v Fort (1d20+10=13, 1d6+4=7)

Another pure note fills the chamber as Erik's songblade hums once more with power. B4 cannot withstand the clear call as the blade slices cleanly into it, leaving a resonance what guides other blades to the same target.

The last lackey moves behind the berserk and hits it hard with his club. "I'm getting cured and you're not stopping me," he screams.

Just for reference, B4's CA is a save ends condition because he was hit by the power's main attack.

Snaggletooth gives Caine a nod to acknowledge the plan. He carefully moves into position and strikes deeply. "I hope the other one doesn't team up on me." He thinks as he strikes.

"Si charis wer lyrik ir tiric ti lowd ve..."

Snaggletooth's thought is broadcast through the chamber. It does not seem that the berserks have any knowledge of draconic - or if they do, they offer no response.

As he moves and strikes, the blood pours over him once more, streaking his scales with necrotic fluid.
Blood damage (1d6=2) 2hp damage to Snaggletooth, 3 ongoing.

The newly allied Seer focuses on B4 and sends an arcing blue orb into the creature, just hitting with the help of Erik's long-held note. The berserk looks astounded as a wound opens in its side.
Warp Orb (Ref) v B4. On hit target is dazed (se) (1d20+18=21, 1d8+6=11)

    Perigia

    Spoiler:

As you fall, you feel small hands on your head and hear the voice of the child Sybil. "You took the blessing and now the blessing gives to you."

    Mother Bartha's blessing.
You spend a healing surge and are now on a surge's worth of hp. Prone and dazed, but not dying. This blessing does not activate second wind and it is still available to you if you have not already used it.

    Rev

    Spoiler:

Would being on stairs stop the ongoing damage. If so would it be possible to use Armathor’s Step to teleport on the stairs behind b2?

    Spoiler:

Yes, you can do that, but you can only teleport to I11 as that's the only step you can see.

Rev, I'm making these attacks under the assumption that B4 is either still dazed or still granting CA.

Erik's blade sings and thrusts forward, trying to open up a weakness in the berserk's defenses.

    Standard Action: Guiding Strike vs. B4; 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21 vs. AC for 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 damage and on a hit, B4 takes a -2 to AC TEOMNT.

Urf. That's everyone bar Erik bloodied then.

Rev, please roll for me, Caine will use an at-will power to knock down B1; then inspiring word on Snaggletooth, then action point to finish off the fallen B1, use an appropriate unused encounter or daily power; he then moves away.

Snaggletooth moves and strikes, preparing himself for retaliation that never comes. The misshapen horror collapses dead at his feet, even as he scampers to the far end of the room.

Apologies for the delay in your scheduled mayhem. I was out for much of today and then the local talent show went on well over an hour longer than anticipated. Normal service herewith resumes.

Perigia hurls a magic missile, but the berserk somehow manages to dodge. Even as her head clears however, the mage sees Erik's attack finish the creature.

With a savage howl, the lackey tries to hit B3 and fails.
"Can't go in that, it'll kill me," he yells, pointing at the still falling blood rain.
Home rolling. It was a 3, which does nothing at all.

Then he moves in front of the seer and says with his arms outstretched. "You no harm nice Fire-Lady any more. You should have surrendered. Now you are going to die by this blade. The Dreamer's blade." He shows the blade to the seer.

Realising all too well that another bath in the blood may well finish him, Caine simply moves towards B3 and tries to hack the monstrosity apart.

Erik whispers the arcane words of one of his most trusted spells into his songblade, and the runes of the incantation appear on the blade's surface and glow.
